Introduction
The Marathon 810sl provides high storage capacity in a small, lowprofile hard disc drive. This drive is available in two models: the standard
model ST9810A, and the ST9810AG, which includes SafeRite shock
protection.
• Supports PIO modes 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as single-word and
multiword DMA modes 0, 1 and 2.
• High instantaneous data-transfer rat es (up to 16.6 Mbytes per second)
using PIO mode 4 and DMA mode 2.
• 120-Kbyte adaptive multisegmented cache
• Improved caching and on-the-fly error-correction algorithms
• Supports Read/Write Multiple commands
• Supports autodetection of master/slave drives using cable select
(CSEL) signal.
