Unpacking your telephone:
This package should contain the following:
Telephone base unit
Wall mount adaptor
Handset
Coiled handset cord
Straight line cord
Connect the standard 6-conductor line cord from the telephone system wall jack to the jack on the rear of the phone.
Features:
Controls, Connections, and Function keys:
(1) Half duplex speakerphone. (2) LED indicators: line 1, line 2, speakerphone, mute, and conference.
(1) Ringer Volume – Adjusts ringer volume to LOW or HI. Each line has
a separate ringer volume switch.

The AEGIS® 600T-T5-TP telephone is designed for use with registered PBX systems. Determine that you have the correct modular jack for connecting the telephone. If you do not have a modular jack, one may be obtained at a minimal cost from a local hardware store or home center.

Insert one end of the coiled handset cord into the small jack marked with the “handset” symbol on the left side of phone. Insert the other end into the jack on the lower end of handset.
