Work description
1. If the vehicle is fitted with leaf springs, the front springs must be relieved of ten-
sion by placing the vehicle on axle stands. Use two lifting tools 99 363 to place
the vehicle on axle stands.
2. Remove the noise shields.
3. Drain the oil from the gearbox.
4. Remove any equipment, e.g. pump.
5. Detach the clutch servo and suspend it using cable ties so that it is not in the way.
If the truck has a front mounted oil cooler, then two of the the clutch servo screws
must be undone from above. This means that it may be necessary to tilt the cab.

6. Remove the noise shield brackets that are fitted next to the leaf springs.
7. Disconnect the sensor connector.
8. Unscrew the power take-off and lift it out through the leaf spring.
