New Digital Signal Processing Circuitry
Backlight compensation
Backlight compensation for clear viewing of off-centre/moving objects
The screen is divided into 64 small areas in which luminous intensity is measured separately to determine the lighting conditions of all objects within the frame. This new method provides a clear view of off-centre and moving objects that was not possible with conventional backlight compensation.
High Sensitivity for Low-light-level Applications
Enhanced CCD Yields Colour Imaging at a Minimum of 0.3 Lux of Light
0.3
Lux of Light
The adoption of a precision-designed colour CCD broadens the scope of possible applications for colour CCTV-imaging requirements. The new CCD allows for image capture under low-light-level conditions down to 0.3 lux with an F 1.2 lens.

Exceptional colour reproduction
New DSP (digital signal processing) circuitry utilizes a state-of-the-art algorithm that separates the luminance signal (Y) and the chroma signal (C) more precisely enabling the camera to reproduce truer, more natural colours than before.
Sharper images & reduced colour smudging
Coupled with the functioning of the algorithm is digital processing of the video signal that reduces colour smudges and produces sharper, crisper pictures.
Greater freedom from smearing
Anti-smear characteristics have been enhanced drastically to reduce smear effects such as those caused by headlights during shooting in dark environments by 20 dB and augment the effectiveness of low-light-level image reproduction.
