Before starting the installation procedure, please read these instructions carefully. Make sure to keep
these instructions handy for future reference.
This ceiling mounting bracket is for use when installing dome-type cameras to a ceiling. When installing
such cameras, make holes in the ceiling and then securely install the ceiling mounting bracket into these
holes.
Safety Precautions

Installation location strength check
Confirm that the selected location can support the total weight of the camera and the mounting
bracket. A weak installation location can cause the camera and support to fall down.
For strong installation, reinforce gypsum board, ceiling tiles, etc. Make sure the mounting
bracket is firmly attached or else the camera and mounting bracket may fall.

Installation
Make a hole with a diameter of 40 – 50 mm in the ceiling and in the mounting plate (not supplied).

Loosen the two screws, and then remove the part of mounting bracket C that attaches to the camera

from pipe bracket A. Also loosen the six screws and then remove the part of mounting bracket D that
attaches to the camera as shown in Figure 3.
Also loosen the screw and remove bracket B that covers the hole.
Secure the remaining part of mounting bracket C on pipe bracket A to the mounting plate with the

four screws, and then place the mounting plate against the ceiling as shown in Figure 1 and attach
the accessory safety wires F that prevent the unit from falling down.
Return bracket B that covers the hole to its original position, and then refit the removed bracket D to

pipe bracket A as shown in Figure 3. Then pull bracket B that covers the hole up to the upper ceiling
and secure it in place.
Securely install the part of mounting bracket C that was removed, using the four accessory 12-mm

long screws.
Lift up the camera, and pass the power cable, RS-485 and signal cables through pipe bracket A to

the other side of the ceiling. Position the camera so that it is facing toward the front, and then place
the four screws into the refitted bracket D as shown in Figure 4, and securely tighten two of the
screws using a screwdriver.
Attach the accessory safety wires G that prevent the unit from falling down to bracket C and bracket

D, and then assemble cover E above the camera and place it onto the camera.

Consult your dealer for installation
The installation requires certain knowledge and experience and should be referred to a
professional. If the support and/or camera fall they may cause severe injuries.
Do not let the bracket and camera dangle from the cable
During installation, do not let the bracket and camera dangle unsupported from the cable.
If not, they may fall and cause severe injuries.
