If the wall mounting bracket is not installed in the correct position, or if it is connected
incorrectly, it may result in fire or electric shocks. In some cases severe injury or death may
also result.
Install in a location which is strong enough to support the combined weight of the
•
camera and the wall mounting bracket for many years.
To prevent the possibility that the camera and wall mounting bracket may fall down,
suspend a weight of 5 kg or more from the intended installation location using a metal
chain or wire, and check that safety can be maintained.
Leave at least 1.5 m of space between the wall mounting bracket and air outlets
•
from equipment such as air conditioners.
If cold air is allowed to blow directly onto the camera, it may cause the lens to become
cloudy, and this can adversely affect the quality of the recorded images.
Avoid installing the wall mounting bracket directly underneath ceiling water pipes
•
or places which might be subject to water leakage.
Condensation from water pipes may get inside the camera and cause fire or electric shocks.
Avoid places which are subject to vibration or noise.
•
Vibration and loud noise can cause the screws to loosen, which might damage the bracket
or cause the camera and bracket to fall down. Furthermore, it may also cause the screen to
shake and result in synchronization problems.
Be sure to use only the provided screws for installation.
•
Do not disassemble or modify the wall mounting bracket.
•
Failure to observe this may cause the bracket to become damaged or fall down.
INSTALLING THE BRACKET AND CAMERA
before installing the wall mounting bracket, route any cables which are to be connected to the
camera through the ceiling. Furthermore, after installing the bracket and camera, check that
they are securely installed so that there is no danger they will fall down.
Preparation
1 Make a hole with a diameter of 40 ~ 50 mm
in the ceiling.
2 Make a hole in the mounting plate A (which
will be used to support the weight of the
bracket and camera) which is the same size
as the hole in the ceiling.
3 Make three holes B (3 ~ 5 mm) for the
screws which will secure the camera support
pole C.
4 Loosen the screws E of the clamper D which
is secured to the support pole C, and then
remove the fitting F from the support pole C.
5 Loosen the screw H of the veneer ring G so
that the veneer ring G can move freely.
6 Place the mounting plate A, fitting F and
spacer I onto the top side of the ceiling.
Caution
Use a ceiling location and a mounting plate
•
which can support the combined weight of
the wall mounting bracket.
The customer should provide the spacer I.
