Improper mounting and/or connections may result in electric shock, fire or cause death or serious injuries.
The ceiling must be strong enough to support the weight of the camera and its
accessories (approx. 3 kg). The bracket must be installed at a minimum distance of 1.5 m from the air outlet of
an air conditioning
If cold air is directed onto the camera, that may fog the lens and the image may be blurred.
Do not install the bracket where there is a risk of water leaking from pipes, etc.
Condensation on pipes may cause water dripping onto the camera and cause a fire and/or electric shocks.
Never mount to a ceiling surface that may be subjected to vibration or shocks
Vibrations may loosen the screws and cause the camera to fall down. They may also cause rolling of the image and the synchronization signals may not be transmitted correctly.
Do not modify or change
Any modification to the bracket may cause the camera to fall or other problems.
INSTALLATION
Before starting the installation of the bracket, run the power supply cord and other cables behind the ceiling.
When the installation is finished, make sure it is secure and that there is no risk of the bracket falling down.
Preparation
1 Cut a hole of 160 – 170 mm in diameter into
the ceiling.
The ceiling thickness can be 5 – 45 mm
There must be 170 mm or more between
the counterceiling and the ceiling structure.
2 Anchor bolt (A) must be firmly attached to
the ceiling structure, at the center of the opening.
NOTE:
If the anchor bolt cannot be used due to the building structure, use any commercially available chain or cable that can withstand a load of 5 kg or more.
3 Turn the bezel (B) counterclockwise, to
remove it from the recessed mounting bracket (C).
4 Loosen the three M4 screws (D) of the
recessed mounting bracket (C), then pull the camera holder (E) out while pressing the tabs (3 places) inward.
