The keys on this remote operate functions similar to those of your original remote controls. Refer to your original instructions for specific key and features operation.
1. Find your equipments’ codes in the charts in this instruction guide.
2. Press and hold the VCR, TV, or AUX mode key while entering a three-digit code number. Then
release the key.
If the code was accepted, the mode key will flash 5 times after it is released. If you entered an invalid code, the mode key will not flash. Check the code number and repeat Step 2.
Perform Steps 1 and 2 for each piece of equipment you have.
The VCR and TV modes will accept only their specific code type.
The AUX mode will accept all code types, but only one code at a time.
After you have programmed the remote control and confirmed its operation, enter your codes in the spaces provided below.

Install The Batteries
Step 1. Remove the battery cover
by pressing the tab and tilting the cover upward.
Step 2. Install two “AA” batteries
as shown. Be sure to match the + / – signs on the batteries with the
+ / – marks inside the case.
Note: Do Not mix new and used
batteries or mix different types of batteries together.

Instalación de las baterías
Paso 1. Quite la cubierta de las baterías,
presionando la pestaña, e inclinando la cubierta hacia adelante.
Paso 2. Instale dos baterías tipo
“AA” como se muestra. Asegurándose que las marcas de + / – concuerden con los signos de las baterías, y con las marcas de +/– dentro de la caja del control remoto.
Nota :
No mezcle baterías nuevas y
usadas, o mezcle diferentes tipos de baterías al mismo tiempo.

EL CONTROL
REMOTO
1. Localice los códigos de la marca de sus equipos en las cartas.
2. Presione y mantenga la tecla de VCR, TV, o AUX mientras accesa el
código de tres dígitos.
Si el código fue aceptado, la tecla de modo se iluminará 5 veces después de que fue liberada. Si se ingreso un código equivocado, la tecla de modo no se iluminará. Verifique el número de código y repita el paso 2.
Después de ingresar cada número de código, verifique la operación su
operación presionando las teclas de Power y/o Channel. Si estas teclas operan tu equipo, entonces probablemente el número de código fue el correcto. Si no, regrese al paso 2 y escoja otro código, si esta disponible.
Lleve a cabo los pasos 1 y 2 para cada tipo de equipo que tenga.
El modo TV y VCR aceptará únicamente códigos de tipo. El modo AUX aceptará todo tipo de códigos, pero solo un código a la vez.
Después de haber programado el control remoto y confirmado su operación, escriba los códigos en los espacios que están abajo para fácil referencia.
Las teclas en el control remoto funcionan de forma similar a las de su control remoto original. Verifique con las instrucciones originales para una tecla o función especifica.

90-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY ON SANYO PRODUCTS PURCHASED AND USED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND PUERTO RICO, HOWEVER, EXCLUDING ITS OTHER TERRITORIES AND PROTECTORATES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER, AND DOES NOT APPLY TO PRODUCTS USED FOR INDUSTRIAL OR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.
FOR 90 DAYS from the date of purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation will replace any defective unit without charge to the original purchaser.
To ensure proper warranty exchange, keep the original sales receipt for evidence of purchase. Return the defective remote control along with the receipt to the retailer. The defective remote control will be exchanged for the same model, or a replacement model of equal or greater value, if necessary. Replacement model will be contingent on availability and at the sole discretion of Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
OBLIGATIONS
For 90 days from the date of purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and conditions. Should replacement be necessary under this warranty for any reason due to manufacturing defect or malfunction during the first 90 days from date of original purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation will provide a new remote control via exchange at the retailer at no c
harge.
This warranty expresses specific contractual rights; retail purchasers may have additional statutory rights which vary from state to state.

Operating Tips
1) The CHANNEL (▲/▼) and VOLUME (–/+) keys become CURSOR keys when the MENU key is pressed. This operating state remains active for 10 seconds after pressing any C
HANNEL or VOLUME key.
After 10 seconds, these keys will revert to normal channel and volume operation.
2) Some equipment manufacturers use the C
HANNEL
and V
OLUME
keys instead of C
URSOR
keys to
navigate through their menu systems. If, after pressing the M
ENU key, the CHANNEL and VOLUME
keys do not move the cursor, wait 10 seconds then try them again. If the menu leaves the screen, press the M
ENU
key again, then wait 10 seconds before pressing the C
HANNEL
and V
OLUME
keys.
3) Refer to your original operating manuals for specific feature operation.
4) This remote control cannot add keys or features to your equipment.
5) Operations in the chart that are marked with an asterisk (*) work after pressing the M
ENU
key.
6) To operate each device, you must first program the remote control; then press the proper mode key (VCR, TV, or AUX). The VCR and TV modes are preprogrammed with Sanyo codes.
7) Code numbers will remain in memory for five minutes as you replace batteries.
8) Weak batteries can leak and damage the remote control.
9) There may be brands and models that this remote control cannot operate. Some units may operate only partially.
10) This remote control uses an infrared beam of light to operate the equipment. Objects between the equipment and the remote control can block this infrared beam. Therefore, the remote control must be pointed directly at the equipment you want to operate.
