XGA Ultraportable Multimedia Projectors

1:1.5 FLEX ZOOM LENS

The PLC-XU55/XU50 projectors come equipped with a new Flex Zoom lens capable of producing a 100” diagonal image from a distance of 8.3’ to 12.8’. The Flex Zoom lens, with a zoom range that covers the needs of most short-throw and standard-throw applications, helps make the PLC-XU55/XU50 a more flexible presentation tool.

DUAL INPUT/MONITOR OUTPUT

The PLC-XU55/XU50 projectors feature a DVI-I input and a switchable D-Sub15 input / monitor output for use as a second PC input or for connection to an external monitor. With USB connectivity, and a variable audio output, this unit is perfect for classroom environments.

OPTIONAL MULTI CARD IMAGER BOX

An optional Multi Card Imager Box (POA-BOX20) accepts optional interchangeable wired (POA-WDC20) and wireless (POA-WLC20) LAN cards for network image transfer and projector control/administration. With the optional Compact Flash Card kit, PowerPoint files can be converted to JPEG format, stored on a Compact Flash card and shown directly from the projector.

INTERLACED / PROGRESSIVE CONVERSION

Incoming interlaced video source signals are automatically converted into progressive signals for improved video image reproduction.

CUSTOMIZABLE START-UP LOGO Logo files can be captured for display during the projector’s countdown sequence at startup.

X-Y DIGITAL KEYSTONE CORRECTION

With the touch of a button, Sanyo’s X-Y digital keystone correction compensates for angled projector placement by mathematically interpolating an image’s pixels, correcting trapezoidal images in both the vertical and horizontal planes.

OPTIONAL VGA/COMPONENT CABLE

With an optional adapter cable, component video sources can be fed directly into the D-Sub15 VGA input.

WHISPER QUIET FAN

The Whisper Quiet fan system constantly monitors the projector’s internal temperature and adjusts the fan speed accordingly. Noisy bursts of fan activity are eliminated, producing a minimal background noise of only 35 dBA (eco mode).
