Quick Start Guide

The user manual and the installation program
are stored in your player. Refer to page 4.

Fully charge the battery before using your
player for the first time.

Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the USB
connection port at the bottom of your player.
Connect the larger end of the USB cable to the USB
port of a PC.

Install the PC program and

You can view the user manual and install the PC
program (Kies) on your PC.
Connect your player to a PC using the USB cable.
On your PC, double click <My Computer> → <R2>
<Manual-PCProgram> → <Setup(YP-R2).exe>.

Click <KIES Install> to begin the Kies installation.
Click <Manual Install / View> to view the user manual.

remove•the•<Manual-PCProgram>•folder•in•your•
player•to•increase•the•free•space•for•further•use.

Connect your player to a PC using the USB cable.
On your PC, open <My Computer> and then the
<R2> folder.
Select a folder you want.
Select a media file in your PC and copy it to player.

Before•you•disconnect•your•player•from•a•PC,•you•
must•perform•the•USB•"safely•remove•hardware"•
procedure.•The•procedure•may•vary•depending•on•
your•PC's•operating•system.

Lock or unlock the touch
Play video files

When your player is on and you perform no actions
for a while, the touch screen locks automatically. You
can also manually lock the touch screen to prevent
unwanted operations.

Vous pouvez afficher le mode d'emploi et installer le
logiciel PC (Samsung Kies) sur votre ordinateur.
Connectez le lecteur à l’ordinateur via le câble USB.
Sur l’ordinateur, double-cliquez sur <Poste de travail> →
<R2> → <Manual-PCProgram> → <Setup(YP-R2).exe>.
Cliquez sur <Installer KIES> pour lancer l’installation
de l’application Kies. Cliquez sur <Installer manuel /
Affichage> pour afficher le manuel d’utilisation.
* Remarque

Lorsque•l’installation•est•complètement•terminée,•vous•
pouvez•supprimer•le•dossier•<Manual-PCProgram>•
de•votre•lecteur•afin•de•libérer•de•l’espace•disque.

Pour•optimiser•les•performances•de•Kies,•mettez•
à•jour•votre•logiciel•régulièrement.•Certaines•
fonctionnalités•de•Kies•sont•soumises•à•modification•
sans•avis•préalable.

Connectez le lecteur à l’ordinateur via le câble USB.
Sur votre ordinateur, allez dans <Poste de travail> et
ouvrez le dossier <
Sélectionnez le dossier souhaité.
Sélectionnez un fichier multimédia stocké sur votre
ordinateur et copiez-le sur votre lecteur.

Verrouiller ou déverrouiller
Lecture de fichiers vidéo
l’écran tactile
Lorsque votre lecteur est allumé et que vous ne
l'utilisez pas pendant un certain temps, l'écran
tactile se verrouille automatiquement. Vous pouvez
également verrouiller manuellement l'écran tactile
pour éviter toute opération involontaire.
