3-1. Hardware version
Hardware v e rsion is marked on the label on the interface card bracket.
Interface V e r: V4.X.X has Function ke y while V e r:V3.X.X doesn’t have it.

In case the hardware version is V4.X.X or higher , use Configure_V4.x or W e b server .
Y ou can simply use W eb Server on Internet Explorer .

4. How to inst all
1) Check the interface version
[Note]
- Each version uses it s own Configuration T o ol.
2) T u rn of the printer and insert the interface card.
3) Set the baud rate (Serial speed)
- SRP-270,275: Max. 19200 bp s
- SRP-350: Max. 57600 bp s
- SRP-350Plus: Max. 1 15200 bp s
- SRP-370,372: Max. 1 15200 bp s
- SRP-770: Max. 1 15200bp s
- SRP-770 Ⅱ : Max. 230400 bp s
- SLP-T400: Max. 230400 bp s
[Note]
- The baud rate (Serial speed) of the interface card is from 1200 ~ 230400 bp s.
- The baud rate (Serial speed) of the printer can be set with DIP swit ch
(Refer to [Appendix 1])
4) Connect LAN cable to the interfac e card and turn on the printer .
(1) Use direct cable to connect to HUB (Switch).

(2) Use cross cable to connect to LAN card of computer .

1) T u rn on the printer .
2) Execute Configure T ool .

3) Click Search .

4) Select MAC Addres s in Board list and set up Netw o r k Setting .

- If many MAC addres ses appear , refer to the MAC address on the label of the
interface card.
- Ask the N e twork administrator IP and it s related infor m ation.
- If you are not aware of S ubnet Mask, refer to the below .
When the IP address is
(1) 1~126.xxx. xxx.xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.0.0.0
(2) 128~191.xxx.xxx. xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
(3) 192~223.xxx.xxx. xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
For example, when the IP address is 192.168.192.321,
Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
- If you are not aware of Gateway ,
(1) When the Network is connected to Inte rnet (Router or Server computer),
refer to the Network setting of other computers on the N e twork.
(2) When the Network is connected to Inte rnet (Router or Server computer),
enter 0.0.0.0 for Gateway .

5) Enter value at Local Port .

- Default value is 9100 . Choose from 6000 to 10000.
6) Set Inactivity T i me as ‘0’.
[Note]
- Default value is 0. Choose from 0 to 65535.
- When you set Inactivity time, Ether net interface will dis connect by force
af ter designated time. When you set 0, Forc ed disconnection function is not available.

7) Set baud rate (S peed) at Serial Setting

- The baud rate (S peed) should be same as the baud rate of the printer .
(Refer to [Appendix 1])
- Highest baud rate (S peed) can be used.
8) When setting finishes, click Setting .

- When setting doesn’t finish correctly , try again.

5-2. W e b Server
1) Execute Internet Explorer .
2) Enter IP address of the printer at Address of Internet Ex plorer and click go .

- If you are not aware of IP address, check IP address by pushing Function k e y .
(Refer to [Appendis x2])
- Ask Network adminis trator IP Address and it s related information.
3) When Configuration Window appears, enter new Source IP .

- If you are not aware of S ubnet Mask, refer to the below .
- When the IP address is
(1) 1~126.xxx. xxx.xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.0.0.0
(2) 128~191.xxx.xxx. xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
(3) 192~223.xxx.xxx. xxx: Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
For example, when the IP address is 192.168.192.321,
Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
- If you are not aware of Gateway ,
(1) When the Network is connected to Inte rnet (Router or Server computer),
refer to th e Network setting of other computers on the Network.
(2) When the Network is connected to Inte rnet (Router or Server computer),
enter 0.0.0.0 for Gateway .
4) Enter value of Loc al Port .

6) Set baud rate ( Serial speed ).

The baud rate (S peed) should be same as the baud rate of the pri n ter .
(Refer to [Appendix 1])
7) When setting finishes, click Appl y .

8) If you click the message, you c an check your configuration setting.

- If any change was not found af ter setti ng on W eb Server , check the bellows;
(1) Execute Internet Explorer .
(2) Internet Explorer Menu → T ools → Inter n et option s .

2) Push the Function Key on the interface 10 or more seconds from finishing s e t up.
Enter given IP address at address of Inte rnet Explorer to enter web server .

7. Firmware up date

3) Downlo a d Configure_Vx.xx.zip file and * .bin file.

4) Unzip Configure_Vx.xx.zip and exec ute Configure_Vx.xx. exe at Co nfigure_V x. xx
folder .
[Note]
- In case C onfigure_Vx.xx.exe can’t be executed, run configure_setup.bat first
and retry it.
5) Click Up load at Configuration T ool and *.bi n to update Ethernet firmware.

8. Ethernet test by using W indows test p a ge
If you don’t have any t e st program to check pr inter ’ s performance, you can use Windows
driver . It is available for Windows 2000, XP and 2003 server .
1) Inst all Windows driver of t he printer . When the dri v er in st allation finishes, reboot the
computer .

3) Select the printer icon and clic k it with the right button to select properties .

1. How to use
(1) T u rn on the printer
(2) W a it 10 or more seconds unt il the Ethernet interface boot s up
(3) Push the Function key

2. How to rest

2) T u rn on the printer while pres sing Function Key
[Note ]
Press Function k e y 3 more seconds af ter turning on the printer .
3) W a it 10 seconds until new IP addr ess is allocated to the printer .
- The IP address will be alloc a ted automatically un d e r DHCP m o de.

Connect to web-server with newly alloc a ted IP address.
Chec k new IP address by pressing F unction key
- S t atic IP Network environment
The IP address will not be alloc a ted automatically .
Set up S t atic IP with Config urator utility .
4) Print Network setting info rmation by pressing Function key
- Connect web-server to change any network setting

Check if the baud rate of the printer is set same as below .
