Maintaining dust and water resistance
The device is not impervious to dust and water damage in any situation. It is important that all compartments are closed tightly.
Follow these tips carefully to prevent damage to the device and maintain dust and water resistance performance:
• Water re sistant bas ed on IP68 rat ing, which tes ts submer sion in fresh wa ter deeper th an 1.5 meters o r keep it su bmerged for mo re than 30 minute s. If device is expos ed to fresh wat er, dr y it thoroughly with a cle an, soft cloth; i f exposed to li quid other tha n fresh water, rins e with fr esh water and dr y as directe d.
• Any devi ce which uses ac cessible comp artment s or ports that ca n be opened sho uld have these s ealed or close d tightly to preven t liquid from ent ering the sys tem.
• If the de vice has been immerse d in water or the microp hone or speaker i s wet, sound may n ot be heard clearly d uring a call. Af ter wiping th e device with a dr y cloth , dr y it thorough ly before using i t.
• Do not ex pose the devi ce to water at high p ressure.
• If the de vice is dropped or receives an impact, t he water and dus t resistant f eatures of the device ma y be damaged.
Note: Liquid ot her than fresh w ater may enter th e device faste r. Failur e to rinse the dev ice in fresh wate r and dry it as instr ucted may ca use the device to s uffer from operability or cosme tic issues.

Your location

GPS & AGPS
Certain Samsung Mobile Devices can use a Global Positioning System (GPS) signal for location-based applications. Changes may affect the performance of location-based technology on your mobile device.
Certain Samsung Mobile Devices can also use an Assisted Global Positioning System (AGPS), which obtains information from the cellular network to improve GPS performance. Contact your wireless service provider for details.
Use of AGPS in emergency calls
When you make an emergency call, the cellular network may activate AGPS technology in your mobile device to tell the emergency responders your approximate location.
AGPS has limitations and might not work in your area.
Commercial Mobile Alerting System (CMAS)
This device is designed to receive Wireless Emergency Alerts from CMAS. Check with your carrier for CMAS participation and coverage.
Emergency calls
Emergency calls may not be possible on all wireless mobile device networks or when certain network services and/or mobile device features are in use. Check with local service providers. If
certain features are in use (e.g. call blocking) you may rst need to
deactivate those features before you can make an emergency call.

If the device feels hot to the touch, discontinue use and close all applications or turn off the device until it cools.
Always ensure that the device has adequate ventilation and air
ow. Covering the device can trap any dissipating heat and redirect
it back to the device while it is active.
