Fora DLPTV,the lampfan,DMDboardfan and colorwheelarevulnerabletonoise.Sometimestheconnectorwirearoundthe lampor DMDfanmakescontactwiththefan, whilethecolorwheelis protectedinsidethemoduleandcannotmakecontactwith anynearbywires.Howeverthecolorwheelsensoror thedrivemotormaycausenoiseby makingcontactwiththe colorwheel. Asthecolorwheelusesan air bearingsystem,it hasa veryslightpossibilityofcreatinginternalnoise. Whenirregularnoiseoccursfor noparticularreason,checkthe insideof the TV foranyforeignsubstances. TheDLPprojectionTVmaycausenoiseas thephysicalscreenisemptyinside,causinga resonancetoa particularfrequency.
Thusa lowvibrationis nota malfunction. Any'creaking'noiseismostlyfromthe structureofthe deviceitself.Ashort, harshnoisemayoccurfroma distortionor
malformationduetothermalexpansionbetweenthemetaljoints,screwsandloadedparts,respectively.Anyintermittent'creaking' noisecan be removedbylooseningthescrews.

OutsideLight:Thisisnota productmalfunction,buta possibleinstallationorhumanerror.Thisoccurswhenthe projectedlight fromthesurroundingilluminationreflectsontothescreen.Thisdisappearsas the TV startsoperatingandtheTV lampgets brighter.However,youcan avoidoutsidelight by changingthepositionof theTVorthe installationangle. Decreasingthe illuminationor changingtheindoorlightingmaywork.
