If gas seems to leak, take action as follow: Do not turn on the light. Do not switch on/off any electrical appliance and do not touch any electric plug. Do not use a telephone.
The fuel gas contains mercaptan, so that you can feel that the gas leaks even where only 1/1000 of the gas exists
in the air with specific smell (smell of rotten garlic or egg).
In this event, take action as follow:
Stop using the product and close the middle valve. Open the window to ventilate. Contact our service center by using a phone outside.

Use the specified gas only.
Make sure that you should use the gas as specified on the product nameplate. Otherwise, the gas may be incompletely combusted and cause you to be poisoned by carbon
monoxide or to be burned by explosive ignition. In addition, it may not be ignited.
The product nameplate is on the bottom of the product.
(If you don't know which gas you should use, contact our service center.)
Make sure that the power voltage is the same as specified.
(This product is used at 240V only.)
Otherwise, the product will be damaged and cause firing
and electric shock.
In case of moving out, make sure that you should use
the gas as specified on the nameplate.
Do not be away from the product while leaving the fire on. (Do not go out nor sleep.)
Otherwise, the product will be overheated causing the
product damage or fire. Especially, if you leave the product for a long time while cooking fries, fish-food and etc, fire may occur.
If you have to make a phone call or have a guest, stop using the product.
Do not place any flammable object near the product. Do not use any inflammable gas product such as a spray near the product.
Keep any flammable object such as curtain and any inflammable objects such as a spray, gasoline and benzene away from the product. Such objects may cause fire.

It should be grounded.
This product needs AC 240V power. For more information about electric wiring, consult with a qualified electric facility company.
Even at any place where 240V is used, the
power consent should be grounded if it is not grounded at its side.
Any work for AC 240V power, power ground and cabling should be done in accordance with the
relevant rules as follow: Relevant Rule: Electric Facility Standard, Electric Appliance Using Method, Electric Work Law, Inner Wiring Rule and etc.

Do not spill much water on the product.
Be careful not to spill much water on the top plate and
etc. Water causes short circuit, electric shock and fire.
If much water is spilled, stop using the product and
consult with our service center.
If you install another appliances under this product(i.e.:dish-washer and etc.), have a distance at least 3cm or more from product. There should be enough space between product and wall. There should be at least 15cm or longer gap from the product to the side of it.
For gas connection and product installation, consult with a gas supply agency or installation agency.
Gas connection or product installation by unqualified staff may
cause product damage and fire. In this case, we do not take any responsibility.
The product must not be disassembled /repaired/modified by anyone other than our service engineers.
Disassembly/repair/modification by any unqualified
staff may influence on the product safety. If you think that the product has problems, see this manual or contact our service center.
Make sure that the power cord is not contaminated with any alien substance and then push the power cord to the end of the outlet.
If the wiring contact part is contaminated with dust, water and etc or the power cord is not completely inserted into the outlet, electric-shock/fire may occur.

Troubleshooting
When an earthquake or fire occurs, or if you feel any
abnormal combustion, abnormal sound, abnormal smell, immediately stop using the product and close the middle valve to ventilate, and then plug out the power cord from the outlet.
Keep children away from the product.
Do not let children close to the product.
Otherwise, she/he may be burned and/or electrically
shocked.
After using the product, turn the ignition
handle to the 'Extinguishment' position.
Otherwise, gas may leak. Close the middle valve before go to bed or go out.
Do not use product when power cord is defective or power cord and metal part are loosed.
It could cause electric shock or fire. Call for our after sales service agency.
Do not touch the product while using or for
a certain period after using.
While/after using, the product top plate and nearby of the
product is very hot. If you touch it, you may be burned.

Do not scratch/process/extend the power
cord. Do not force it to be bent or bound.
Otherwise, it may be broken causing fire and electric shock.

After completing pipe connection, you must apply gas leakage test. Use product after you make sure of no gas leakage.

Do not have the gas hose and power cord pass on the top or the bottom of the product.
It may be fused by contacting the hot part, so that gas
may leak and fire may occur.
Do not use any supportive tools or a big iron plate and pottery that may cover the whole gas range.
It may be abnormally overheated by incomplete combustion causing fire, product damage or carbon monoxide poisoning.
In this case, we do not take any responsibility to any
product damage and accident.

Do not use any neutralized, bottom-narrowed
or bottom-slippery unstable pot.
Take a special care while using a pot with long
handle.
A neutralized or bottom-narrowed pot may be unstably
placed on the trivet.
A pot with long handle may fall down due to the weight of its
handle or due to touching the handle while using. Then, you
may be burned.
Adjust the fire power properly for the kettle
or pot size.
The flame wider than the pot makes the pot handle
overheated. Then, you may be burned.
Do not remove any part out of the product nor any separate supportive items. Do not use any supportive tools purchased in the market (aluminum foil or other supportive tools).
You may be poisoned by carbon monoxide due to
incomplete combustion. Fire may occur or the product may be damaged by abnormal overheating.

Ventilate frequently while using.
While using, ventilate the room by using a range hood or
by opening the window. Otherwise, you may be
poisoned by carbon monoxide. Also, when you use a humidifier, flame might be unusually red. This is a result of the interaction between flame and water vapor. Turn off the humidifier and ventilate the room then flame will turn to normal conditions.
Install the product on even and stable place.
Otherwise, the pot on the product may fall down
causing a burn and injuries.
Do not use the product on moveable place such as
vehicle, boat and etc.

Do not let water or soup overflowed while
using.
If the top plate of the product is contaminated with
overflowed-liquid and continuously heated, bad odor may be
detected and the pot may be damaged.
If the top plate of the product is contaminated with any alien
substance, wipe it out clearly. Otherwise, the plate may be stained.
Do not install the product where water may
splash.
Splashed water may cause electric shock and short
circuit.
Do not repeatedly ignite the product. If the product has not been ignited and needs be ignited again, ignite it again after the live gas disappears. (3~4 seconds later).
During the monsoon season or on a humid day, the
product may not be well ignited due to the high humidity in the ignition part. If you repeatedly ignite the product in this case, some live gas may be accumulated around the product and may be exploded and fired.

Do not use the product at windy place (due to fan and etc) or where wind blows from the behind of the product.
The product inner part may be damaged; the safety
device may be malfunctioned; the product may be badly ignited; and etc. Use any home appliances with a fan far away from the product.

If you have any mechanical substances such as artificial heart and etc in your body, consult with a doctor before using the product.
Such mechanical substances may be influenced by
the product while using.

Any item above the product such as a range hood may be

Use the big burner for fried food.
Use the big burner to heat frozen food or cook curry that is frozen in a pot.
A pot with round bottom may fall down. (Be careful not to be burned.) Put the pot stably
at the center of the burner to use.

1.Make sure that the gas is conformable and the gas hose has any problems.
2.Make sure that the firepower adjustor handle is on 'Extinguishment' position
before opening the middle valve.
3..Check the burner to be used and the firepower adjustor handle.

To prevent any fire accident or gas leakage caused by children, close
the middle valve when the product is not used.
Caution
Make sure that the ignition handle is on 'Extinguishment' position.
Turn on
Make sure that the power plug is inserted into the outlet.
Make sure that the firepower adjustor handle is on
'Extinguishment' position. Then, open the middle valve.
Turn the firepower adjustor handle clockwise to the
extinguishment position.
When the burner is extinguished, it may sound 'Puck',
which is the sound made when the flame is off and this does not show any abnormality.
Right after extinguishment, the product is still hot. Be
careful not to be burned.
Close the middle valve.
Pressing the firepower adjustor handle, turn it toward the ignition (counterclockwise)
direction completely. If you release the handle while turning, the
product will not be ignited. Release the handle after confirming that the product has been ignited.
-4 burners will all discharge electricity but only the burner for ignition will be ignited.
-If not ignited, turn the firepower adjustor handle to the
extinguishment position and then ignite again.
-If not used for a long time, the product will not be well ignited
because the gas tube has full of air.

Adjust the flame by slowly turning the firepower adjustor handle
within the range between the extinguishment and ignition. If the flame is extremely reduced or adjusted too fast, it may be extinguished. Becareful.

Do not disassemble/repair/modify the product.
The product must not be disassembled/repaired/modified by other than our service engineers.
Otherwise, the relevant person may be injured by abnormal combustion or malfunction.

After maintenance work, make sure that there are no unnecessary items such as tools and etc inside the product. If there is some, remove it.

Read this section carefully for correct maintenance!

Wipe it well with a soft cloth.
Wiping it with any metal or nylon brush may damage it.

Caution
Dried and attached overflow-substance may be too sticky to be
wiped out. Wipe the product right after using. If too much contaminated, wipe the product using a dried towel with a neutral detergent, and then wipe it again using a dried cloth.
If you wipe the top plate with a metal brush, it will be damaged.
Clean it wearing gloves. Clean the flame hole of the burner from time to time. If the burner is contaminated, tis flame hole is clogged making incomplete ingition.
Take off the burner head. Clean the upper circumference of the burner body and burner head using a harsh brush. Use a drill for cleaning of the flame holes.
If the flame holes are not drilled or the burner head has become
thinned down due to a long period of use, replace it with new one and keep it clean all the time.
After cleaning, dry the parts completely or assemble them to their
original positions. If the ignition plug or its ambient part is wet, electricity is not normally discharged. The safety device for automatic block of gas should be cleaned without any hard brush and etc. If any soup is flown over, wipe it out immediately. Otherwise, the product performance will decline and its life will be reduced as well.

After the cooked food is cooled, wash the component parts including burner head, trivet and etc with a neutral detergent.
After washing them with a neutral detergent, dry them completely. You must wear gloves when washing component parts.

Safe Distance
The depth of countertop requires at least 60cm or more. The top plate of countertop should be made of HPM(high pressure melamine sheet) or the equivalent of it The countertop cutout must be prepared within the tolerance limits of dimension. Allow 65mm horizontal clearance between from the edge of front countertop to product.
