SAMSUNG DIGIMAX L60 Troubleshooting

TROUBLESHOOTING FOR SA6300Z

A. The power cannot be turned on :

1. Check the power supply (Battery Adaptor).

I. Check if have any deform or dirty on the spring of battery.

2. Check the connection between M/B with the other board. ( refer Fig. 1 & 2 )

I.. Check the connection between M/B and ST/B.

II. Check the connection between M/B and P/B.
III. Check the connection between M/B and CCD FPC board.
IV. Check the connection between M/B and LCD.

3. Current = 0mA when power on. ( refer Fig. 1 )

I.. Check the fuse is open or not. ( F1 & F2 of P/B )

II. Check if have any deform & dirty & cold-solder on the spring of battery

4. Power LED is on, but LENS still doesn't work. ( refer Fig. 1 )

I. Check the connection between M/B and FPC of LENS.
II. Check the function of LENS is OK.
III. Check the circuit of U8 of M/B.

5. Current is active but still could not power on. ( refer Fig. 1 & 2 )

I.. Check the Y1 & Y2 is active or not.

II. Check the function of ASIC, DRAM & memory.

6. Check P/B . ( refer Fig. 2 )

I. Check the connection between M/B and P/B.
II. Check all output voltage of P/B and analysis if incorrect output voltage was found.

B. The Defect of strobe light :

1. Can't charge for storage-capacitor . ( refer Fig. 3 & 4 & 5)

I. Check the connection between M/B and ST/B.
II. Check the component of circuit of T1 & Q3 & U1.

2. Still charging after full charged. ( refer Fig. 3 & 4 & 5 )

I. Check the function of T1 & D2.
II. Check the component of circuit of U1.
III. Check the connection between M/B and ST/B.

3. Can't flash. ( refer Fig. 3 & 4 )

I. Check the connection between M/B and ST/B.
II. Check the function of TR1 & strobe light.
III. Check the Q3 is active or not.
