Creating and Sending Text Messages
Text messages contain up to 160 characters.
1. In Standby mode, press Menu > Messages.
2. Select Send Message > Text Message. The Create Txt Msg
screen displays.
Tip: To launch the Create Txt Msg screen using a voice command:
In Standby mode, press and hold until the phone prompts, “Say
a command.” Say “Send Text” into the microphone. You are then
prompted to say a Contact name or a number for the first recipient of
the message.
Get Connected to the World with Mobile Web
The Samsung Contour™ makes it easy to access the web, your window
to the internet for downloads, social sites, news, shopping and more.
To Launch Mobile Web:
In Standby mode, press MENU Browser Get In Web. Use the
Navigation key to browse the categories, enter the desired category,
choose a website and proceed.
How do Users Send a Picture Message?
To send a picture message:
Press Menu > Messages > Send Message > Picture Message.
Enter the recipents from the phone’s contact list or type in a phone
number. Press OK. Enter text within the subject line and add any text to
go along with the message, if desired. Select the picture box and press
the Picture softkey. Select the picture to be sent and press OK.
Select a sound to send with the message, if desired. Press Send.
