at 12 MHz, a harmonic of which is beating with the SIF via a ground loop.

Cure: Remove C907 and fit a 104 (50v) ceramic capacitor as shown

Symptom: Cyclic start up from cold (can be intermittant).

Frame collapse. (Due to faulty frame IC).

Cause: Electrostatic discharge through the frame IC causing Micom to

reset.

Cure: Fit an insulated wire link between EY23 and EL07 (See diagram).

This modification is for the SCT 11B chassis version 04/05 only. See diagram for identification.

Cause: When fitting new type Micom the following adjustment should

be carried out in Factory Mode to change the option BYTE.

Cure: Switch set on and key in the following sequence using the

remote. STBY, P.STD, HELP, SLEEP, STBY Select option BYTE from the Factory Menu and change

from "5D" to "CA".

Note: The IRIS information will depend upon the fault found.
