Safety Precautions
WARNING!
This product is capable of causing permanent damage to your hearing if used at excessive volumes!
To protect your hearing, the Samson SR550 headphones should always be used at as low a volume as possible. We recommend that you stringently follow the guidelines established by the U.S. Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) regarding maximum time exposure at various sound pressure levels:
•Don’t use this product for more than 8 hours at 90 dB SPL
•Don’t use this product for more than 4 hours at 95 dB SPL
•Don’t use this product for more than 2 hours at 100 dB SPL
•Don’t use this product for more than 1 hour at 105 dB SPL
•Don’t use this product for more than 1/2 hour at 110 dB SPL
•Don’t use this product for more than 15 minutes at 115 dB SPL
•Don’t operate at listening levels of greater than 120 dB SPL!
Pay attention to what your ears are telling you! Ringing is a sign that you have set the gain levels too high and that damage may result. We recommend that you consult with a qualified audiologist if you exhibit ringing or any other symptoms.
If you want to dispose this product, do not mix it with general household waste. There is a separate collection system for used electronic products in accordance with legislation that requires proper treatment, recovery and recycling.
Private household in the 28 member states of the EU, in Switzerland and Norway may return their used electronic products free of charge to designated collection facilities or to a retailer (if you purchase a similar new one).
For Countries not mentioned above, please contact your local authorities for a correct method of disposal. By doing so you will ensure that your disposed product undergoes the necessary treatment, recovery and recycling and thus prevent potential negative effects on the environment and human health.

Congratulations on purchasing your new Samson SR550 Over-Ear Studio Reference Headphones! The SR550 are closedback headphones designed to accurately reproduce your audio for tracking, mixing, or music playback. The headphones high frequency response is smooth and sweet, and the bass response is warm and tight, thanks to the 40mm drivers with neodymium magnets. The lightweight circumaural design reduces ambient noise and are easy to wear during long listening sessions.
The SR550 features plush memory foam ear cushions and an adjustable padded headband ensuring a comfortable, secure fit. Whether your are just kicking back, listening to music, or mixing your tracks, the SR550 headphones are an ideal choice.

With proper care your SR550 headphones will operate trouble free for many years. Should your unit ever require servicing, a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained before shipping your unit to Samson. Without this number, the unit will not be accepted. Please call Samson at 1-800-3SAMSON (1-800-372-6766) for an RA number prior to shipping your unit. Please retain the original packing materials and, if possible, return the unit in the original carton. If you purchased your Samson product outside the United States, please contact your local distributor for warranty information and service.

Pour mettre ce produit au rebut, ne le mélangez pas aux ordures ménagères. Il existe un système de collecte séparée pour les produits électroniques usagés, conformément à la législation qui prévoit le traitement, la récupération et le recyclage corrects.
