Safety Precautions

WARNING!

This product is capable of causing permanent damage to your hearing if used at excessive volumes!
To protect your hearing, the Samson SR450 headphones should always be used at as low a volume as possible. We

recommend that you stringently follow the guidelines established by the U.S. Occupational Safety Health Administration
(OSHA) regarding maximum time exposure at various sound pressure levels:

• Don’t use this product for more than 8 hours at 90 dB SPL

• Don’t use this product for more than 4 hours at 95 dB SPL

• Don’t use this product for more than 2 hours at 100 dB SPL

• Don’t use this product for more than 1 hour at 105 dB SPL

• Don’t use this product for more than 1/2 hour at 110 dB SPL

• Don’t use this product for more than 15 minutes at 115 dB SPL

• Don’t operate at listening levels of greater than 120 dB SPL!

Pay attention to what your ears are telling you! Ringing is a sign that you have set the gain levels too high and that damage
may result. We recommend that you consult with a qualied audiologist if you exhibit ringing or any other symptoms.

If you want to dispose this product, do not mix it with general household waste. There is a separate collection
system for used electronic products in accordance with legislation that requires proper treatment, recovery
and recycling.
Private household in the 28 member states of the EU, in Switzerland and Norway may return their used
electronic products free of charge to designated collection facilities or to a retailer (if you purchase a similar
new one).
For Countries not mentioned above, please contact your local authorities for a correct method of disposal.
By doing so you will ensure that your disposed product undergoes the necessary treatment, recovery and
recycling and thus prevent potential negative eects on the environment and human health.

Congratulations on purchasing your new Samson SR450 On-Ear Studio Reference Headphones! The SR450 are closed­back headphones designed to accurately reproduce your audio for tracking, mixing, or music playback. The headphones
high frequency response is smooth and sweet, and the bass response is warm and tight, thanks to the 40mm drivers with
neodymium magnets. The lightweight, supra-aural design reduces ear fatigue making the headphones easy to wear dur­ing long listening sessions.

The SR450 features plush memory foam ear cushions and an adjustable padded headband ensuring a comfortable, se­cure t. Whether your are just kicking back, listening to music, or mixing your digital recording, the SR450 headphones
are an ideal choice.

With proper care your SR450 headphones will operate trouble free for many years. Should your unit ever require servic­ing, a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained before shipping your unit to Samson. Without this number,
the unit will not be accepted. Please call Samson at 1-800-3SAMSON (1-800-372-6766) for an RA number prior to ship­ping your unit. Please retain the original packing materials and, if possible, return the unit in the original carton. If you
purchased your Samson product outside the United States, please contact your local distributor for warranty information
and service.
