WAARSCHUWINGEN

 Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik en mag niet

voor andere doeleinden of toepassingen worden gebruikt, zoals niet-huishoudelijk gebruik of in een commerciële omgeving.

 Belemmer de ventilatie niet door het afdekken van de

ventilatieopeningen met voorwerpen zoals een krant, tafelkleed, gordijn, enz.

 Plaats geen bronnen met open vlam, zoals een aangestoken kaars, op

het apparaat.

 Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan gedruppel of gespat en plaats geen, met

vloeistof gevulde, voorwerpen zoals vazen op het apparaat.

 Ventilatie

Laat minstens een vrije ruimte van 10cm rond het product.

 Dit apparaat is niet geschikt voor gebruik in een tropisch klimaat.  Haal eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat

schoonmaakt of onderhoudt.

 Stel batterijen (accupack of geïnstalleerde batterijen) nooit bloot aan

overmatige warmte zoals zonlicht, vuur, enz.

 Om het milieu te beschermen, gebruik de lokale recyclingvoorzieningen

voor het verwijderen van gebruikte batterijen.

 Daar waar de netstekker als uitschakelingsapparaat wordt gebruikt, dient

een dergelijk apparaat gereed te zijn voor bediening.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES

Netvoeding

Dit apparaat is ontworpen om op een netvoeding van 230 Volt, 50 Hz AC te worden aangesloten. Andere voedingsbronnen kunnen het apparaat beschadigen.

Symbolen

Waarschuwing: om het risico op een elektrische schok te verkleinen, dient u de voor- en achterkant niet te verwijderen. Binnenin zitten geen onderdelen voor onderhoud door de gebruiker. Neem contact op met een gekwalificeerde onderhoudsmonteur voor onderhoud.

Installatie en gebruik van batterijen

Alleen volwassenen mogen handelingen met batterijen uitvoeren. Een kind mag dit apparaat alleen gebruiken als het batterijdeksel op de juiste manier op het batterijvak is bevestigd.

Het apparaat werkt op één 9V batterij, die op een eenvoudige manier kan worden vervangen.

Verwijder het batterijdeksel achteraan het apparaat. Koppel de batterij van de batterijclip los.

BATTERIJBACK-UP

De klok, alarm en instellingen kunnen tijdens een stroomonderbreking gedurende een korte periode bewaard worden door middel van batterijvoeding. Als er geen back-upbatterij geplaatst is of de stroomonderbreking duurt lang, zal de klok, alarm en instellingen opnieuw ingesteld moeten worden.

STAND-BYMODUS

Plaast het apparaat op een vlak oppervlak en steek de stekker in een stopcontact.

 Het apparaat is in stand-bymodus.  “0:00” knippert op het display.

DE KLOK INSTELLEN

1. Terwijl het display in de stand-bymodus herhaaldelijk knippert, druk op HOUR / MIN om het uur en de minuten in te stellen.

 Druk op HOUR / MIN en houd ingedrukt om het uur en de minuten te

wijzigen totdat de juiste tijd is ingesteld.

2. Druk op SET om te bevestigen.  Het display stopt met knipperen..

INSCHAKELEN/ RADIOMODUS

Druk op POWER om het apparaat in te schakelen en de radiomodus wordt geopend.  De radiofrequentie verschijnt kort op het display, waarna de kloktijd

opnieuw wordt weergegeven.

DE RADIO BEDIENEN

1. Druk op POWER om de radio in te schakelen.

 De radio wordt op de standaard FM-frequentie of

de laatst afgestemde frequentie afgestemd.

 De standaard FM-radiofrequentie is 87.5 MHz.

2. Druk eenmaal op BAND om de AM-radiomodus te

openen.

 De standaard AM-radiofrequentie is 522 KHz.

3. Druk herhaaldelijk op BAND om de gewenste radioband te selecteren.

4. Regel het volume door herhaaldelijk op VOL+ / VOL- te drukken.

5. Druk op TU+ / TU- om op het gewenst radiostation af te stemmen.

 Druk en houd TU+ / TU- ingedrukt om automatisch vooruit of achteruit

naar het gewenst radiostation te zoeken.

OPMERKING :

 Voor de beste FM-ontvangst, strek de FM-antenne volledig uit.  Voor de beste AM-ontvangst, draai het apparaat lang zaam en horizontaal.

UW FAVORIETE RADIOSTATIONS IN HET GEHEUGEN OPSLAAN

U kunt tot 10 FM en 10 AM radiostations in het geheugen opslaan.

1. Volg de stappen onder "DE RADIO BEDIENEN" en stem af op het

radiostation dat u in het geheugen wilt opslaan.

2. Druk en houd SET gedurende circa 2 seconden

ingedrukt, “P01” knippert op het display.

3. Druk nogmaals op SET om het radiostation op te slaan.

4. Herhaal stappen 1 tot 3 om meer radiostations op te slaan.

Om naar een voorkeurstation te luisteren, drukt herhaaldelijk op MEM totdat u het gewenst radiostation hebt gevonden.

WERKING VAN HET DUBBEL ALARM

Controleer, voordat u de wekker instelt, of de klok op de juiste tijd staat.

Alarm 1 of Alarm 2 instellen

1. In de stand-bymodus, druk en houd AL1 / AL2 ingedrukt totdat “0:00” op het

display knippert.

2. Terwijl “0:00” knippert, stel het alarm in door herhaaldelijk op HOUR / MIN

te drukken.

 Druk en houd HOUR / MIN respectievelijk ingedrukt om snel vooruit te

gaan.

3. Druk herhaaldelijk op AL1 / AL2 om de gewenste alarmmodus (zoemer of

radio) te selecteren.

Om de alarmtijd te controleren, druk en houd AL1 / AL2 gedurende 2 seconden ingedrukt, de alarmtijd knippert kort en het apparaat keert vervolgens terug naar de kloktijd. Om het alarm uit te schakelen, druk op POWER en het alarm gaat de volgende dag op de ingestelde tijd opnieuw af.

Om het alarm te annuleren, druk in de stand-bymodus op AL1 / AL2 totdat het alarmcontrolelampje van het display verdwijnt.

Sluimerfunctie

Deze functie kan worden gebruikt om het alarm gedurende circa 9 minuten te onderbreken eenmaal het alarm reeds geactiveerd is. Door de sluimerknop in te drukken wordt het alarmgeluid onderbroken en wordt deze na negen minuten opnieuw hoorbaar. Het alarmcontrolelampje knippert.

INSLAAPTIMER

De inslaapfunctie is bedoeld om de radio automatisch uit te schakelen.

1. Druk in de radiomodus herhaaldelijk op SLEEP om de

gewenste inslaaptijd te kiezen uit 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 of 10 minuten.

2. De radio wordt uitgeschakeld nadat de ingestelde

inslaaptijd is verstreken.

Om de resterende inslaaptijd te controleren, druk op SLEEP. Om de inslaaptimer te annuleren, druk op SLEEP totdat

“OFF” wordt weergegeven.

Om de radio uit te schakelen alvorens de inslaaptijd is verstreken, druk op POWER.

NAP (DUTJE) FUNCTIE

Deze functie stelt u in staat om de radio in te stellen zodat u na een vooraf ingestelde tijd (maximum 90 minuten) wordt gewekt zonder de alarmen te moeten instellen.

1. Druk in de stand-bymodus herhaaldelijk op NAP om de gewenste

dutjestijd te kiezen uit 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 of 10 minuten.

2. De radio speelt eenmaal de geselecteerde tijd is verstreken.

Om de dutjestimer te annuleren, druk op NAP totdat “OFF” wordt weergegeven.

DE DIMMER REGELEN

Druk herhaaldelijk op DIMMER om de helderheid van het display (helder of gedempt) te regelen.

 Les piles et les batteries ne doivent pas être exposées à une chaleur

excessive, par exemple à la lumière du soleil, un feu, etc.

 Afin de protéger l’environnement, déposez les piles usagées dans un

point de recyclage local spécifiquement prévu pour cela.

 Si la fiche secteur ou un connecteur sert de dispositif de coupure de

l’alimentation, il ou elle doit toujours rester directement manœuvrable.

Manipulation et utilisation des piles

Les piles ne doivent être manipulées que par les adultes. Ne laissez jamais les enfants utiliser cet appareil sauf si le couvercle du logement des piles est solidement fermé. Cet appareil fonctionne avec une pile 9 V qui est accessible et peut être changée. Ouvrez le couvercle du logement des piles au dos de l’appareil. Retirez la pile de son support.

PILES DE SAUVEGARDE

En cas de coupure de courant, la pile permet de conserver en mémoire pendant une période courte les réglages de l’horloge, des alarmes et des autres paramètres. S’il n’y a pas de pile de sauvegarde dans l’appareil ou si la coupure de courant est prolongée, il faudra à nouveau régler l'horloge, les alarmes et les autres paramètres.

MODE VEILLE

Posez l’appareil sur une surface plane et stable, puis branchez son cordon d’alimentation dans une prise électrique.

 L’appareil est en veille.  « 0:00 » se met à clignoter.

RÉGLER L'HORLOGE

1. Dans le mode veille, quand l’affichage clignote plusieurs fois, réglez les heures et les minutes avec les touches HOUR / MIN.

 Maintenez la touche HOUR ou MIN appuyée pour que les chiffres des

heures ou des minutes changent rapidement.

2. Appuyez sur la touche SET pour confirmer.  L’affichage s’arrête de clignoter.

MODE ALLUMÉ/RADIO

Appuyez sur POWER pour allumer l’appareil et entrer dans le mode radio.  La fréquence s’affiche momentanément, puis elle disparaît et l'heure

s'affiche.

UTILISER LA RADIO

1. Appuyez sur POWER pour allumer la radio.

 La fréquence FM par défaut ou la derni ère

fréquence écoutée s'affiche.

 La fréquence FM par défaut est de 87.5 MHz.

2. Appuyez sur BAND pour sélectionner la bande radio AM.  La fréquence AM par défaut est de 522 KHz.

3. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur BAND pour sélectionner l’une des bandes de fréquences radio.

4. Réglez le volume en appuyant plusieurs fois sur la touche VOL+ / VOL-..

5. Réglez la fréquence de la station de radio désirée en appuyant plusieurs fois sur la touche TU+ / TU-.  Maintenez la touche TU+ / TU- appuyée pour enclencher la

recherche automatique de la station suivante ou précédente.

REMARQUE :

 Pour optimiser la réception FM, déployez complètement l’antenne FM.  Pour optimiser la réception AM, tournez lentement l’appareil en le

maintenant à l’horizontale.

PRÉRÉGLER VOS STATIONS DE RADIO PRÉFÉRÉES

Vous pouvez prérégler jusqu'à 10 stations FM et 10 stations AM.

1. Réglez la fréquence de la station de radio en procédant comme indiqué au chapitre « UTILISER LA RADIO ».

2. Appuyez sur SET pendant 2 secondes environ, « P01 » clignote.

3. Appuyez à nouveau sur SET pour mémoriser la station.

4. Répétez les étapes 1 et 3 pour prérégler d’autres stations.

Pour écouter l’une des stations radio préréglées, appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche MEM pour la sélectionner.

UTILISER LES DEUX ALARMES

Avant de paramétrer les alarmes, vérifiez que l’horloge a été réglée.

Paramétrer l’alarme 1 ou 2

1. Dans le mode veille, maintenez la touche AL1 ou AL2 appuyée jusqu'à

ce que « 0:00 » clignote à l'écran.

2. Quand « 0:00 » clignote, réglez l’heure de l’alarme en appuyant

plusieurs fois sur les touches HOUR et MIN.  Maintenez la touche HOUR ou MIN appuyée pour que les chiffres

changent rapidement.

3. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche AL1 ou AL2 pour sélectionner le

mode d’alarme désiré (sonnerie ou radio).

Pour vérifier le réglage d’une alarme, maintenez la touche AL1 ou AL2 appuyée 2 secondes, l’heure de l’alarme clignote brièvement, puis l’horloge s’affiche à nouveau.

Pour éteindre une alarme quand elle se déclenche, appuyez sur POWER, elle s’éteint et se déclenche à nouveau les jours suivants à l’heure programmée.

Pour désactiver une alarme, dans le mode veille appuyez sur AL1 ou AL2 jusqu’à ce que le voyant d'alarme correspondant s’éteigne.

Rappel d'alarme

Cette fonction permet d'arrêter momentanément l'alarme pendant 9 minutes quand elle se déclenche. Quand vous appuyez sur la touche SNOOZE, l'alarme s'éteint, puis retentit à nouveau après 9 minutes. Le voyant de l'alarme clignote.

ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE

La fonction dormir permet de programmer l’arrêt automatique de la radio.

1. Dans le mode radio, appuyez plusieurs fois sur SLEEP

pour sélectionner l’un des délais d’arrêt automatique suivants : 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 ou 10 minutes.

2. La radio s’éteint automatiquement une fois le délai sélectionné écoulé.

Pour afficher le délai restant, appuyez sur SLEEP. Pour annuler cette fonction, appuyez sur la touche SLEEP

jusqu’à ce que « OFF » soit affiché. Pour éteindre la radio avant la fin du délai d’arrêt automatique, appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt [POWER].

ALLUMAGE AUTOMATIQUE

Cette fonction vous permet de régler l'appareil pour qu'il s'allume automatiquement après l’un des délais préréglés (jusqu’à 90 minutes) sans avoir à régler les alarmes.

1. Dans le mode veille, appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche NAP pour

sélectionner l’un des délais d'allumage automatique suivants : 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 ou 10 minutes.

2. Une fois le délai d’allumage auto écoulé, la radio est diffusée.

Pour annuler cette fonction, appuyez sur la touche NAP jusqu’à ce que « OFF » soit affiché.

RÉGLER LA LUMINOSITÉ DE L'AFFICHAGE

Appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche DIMMER pour régler la luminosité de l’affichage (brillant ou pâle).

Battery handling and usage

Only adults should handle battery. Do not allow a child to use this apparatus unless the battery cover is securely attached to the unit.

The battery type used in the unit is 2 x 1.5V AAA size batteries (not included) which are accessible and can be replaced.

Remove the battery cover located at the back of the unit. Disconnect battery from battery clip.

BATTERY BACKUP

The clock, alarm and preset settings can be protected against AC power failure with the battery for a short period of time. If no backup battery is installed or the power failure is prolonged, you will need to set the clock, alarm and preset settings again.

STANDBY MODE

Place the unit on a flat stable surface and plug the power cord into the mains socket.

 The unit is in standby mode  “0:00” will flash on the display.

SETTING THE CLOCK

1. In standby mode, while the display flashes repeatedly press HOUR / MIN to set the hours and minutes.

 Press and hold HOUR / MIN to advance the hour and minute until the

correct time is reached.

2. Press SET to confirm.  The display will stop flashing.

POWER ON/RADIO MODE

Press POWER to switch the unit on and enter the radio mode.  The radio frequency will briefly appear on the display and then return to

clock time.

RADIO OPERATION

1. Press POWER to turn on the radio.

 The default FM radio frequency is 87.5 MHz.

2. Press BAND once to enter the AM radio mode.  The default AM radio frequency is 522 KHz.

3. Repeatedly press BAND to select the desired radio band.

4. Adjust the volume by repeatedly pressing VOL+ / VOL-.

5. Repeatedly press TU+ / TU- to tune into the desired station.  Press and hold TU+ / TU- for auto forward or backward radio station

searching.

NOTE:

 For the best FM reception, extend the FM aerial to its full length.  For the best AM reception, rotate the unit slowly and horizontally.

PRESETTING YOUR FAVOURITE RADIO STATION

Up to 10 FM and 10 AM radio stations can be preset.

1. Follow steps in "RADIO OPERATION" and tune into the station that you wish to preset.

2. Press and hold SET for about 2 seconds, “P01 ” will flash on the display.

3. Press SET again to store the station.

4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to store desired stations.

To listen to preset radio stations, repeatedly press MEM to select the desired radio station.

DUAL ALARMS OPERATION

Before setting the alarm time, make sure the Clock has been set.

Setting Alarm 1 or Alarm 2

1. In standby mode, press and hold AL1 / AL2 until “0:00” flashes on the

display.

2. While “0:00” is flashing, set the alarm time by repeatedly pressing HOUR /

MIN.

 Press and hold HOUR / MIN respectively for fast advance.

3. Repeatedly press AL1 / AL2 to select the desired alarm mo de (buzzer or

radio).

To check alarm time, press and hold AL1 / AL2 for 2 seconds, the alarm time will flash briefly then return to clock time.

To turn off the alarm, press POWER and the alarm will come on again at

the set time on the following days. To cancel the alarm, in standby mode, press AL1 / AL2 until the alarm

indicator light goes out on the display.

Snooze function

This function can be used to stop the alarm temporarily for about 9 minutes once the alarm is activated. When the snooze button is pressed, the alarm sounds will stop and sound again after about 9 minutes. The alarm indicator light will flash.

SLEEP TIMER

The sleep function is designed to automatically turn off the Radio.

1. In Radio mode, repeatedly press SLEEP to select the

desired sleep time from 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 minutes.

2. The radio will be turned off after the set sleep time has elapsed.

To check remaining sleep time, press SLEEP. To cancel sleep timer, press SLEEP until “OFF” is shown. To turn off the radio before the sleep time has elapsed, press POWER.

NAP FUNCTION

This function allows you to set the radio to wake you after a preset interval (up to 90 minutes) without needing to set the alarms.

1. In standby mode, repeatedly press NAP to select the desired nap time

from 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 minutes.

2. When the selected nap time has elapsed, the radio will sound.

To cancel the nap timer, press NAP until “OFF” is shown.

Dimmer control

Repeatedly press DIMMER to adjust the brightness of display (bright or dim).
