LFP-1.2
LOW FREQ PROTECTION

Product Overview
The LFP-1.2 Low Frequency Protection Circuit reduces low frequency signals that interfere
with autoformer impedance-matching devices. The LFP-1.2 also provides protection from
damaging DC voltage from amplifiers overdriven into “clipping” when it is used with
autoformer selectors or volume controls. The LFP-1.2 is connected between the amplifier
or receiver and the autoformer impedance-matching selector or volume controls.
Connection Instructions
Connect the left and right audio outputs of the amplifier or receiver to the detachable
input connector of the LFP-1.2. Connect the detachable output connector of the LFP-1.2
to the input of the impedance-matching system as seen in Figure 1. Be careful to keep
channel identity and polarity consistent when making connections. The screwless
removable snap connectors will accept up to 14-gauge wire.
