INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the Royal Sovereign FS-44P FAST SORT Coin Sorter. To ensure optimum performance, please
read these instructions carefully before use.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The safety recommendations outlined in this section should be read and understood before operating this machine. Keep
this information for future reference.

1. To prevent the possibility of electric shock, do not allow any liquids inside or around the machine.

2. Do not operate machine for any purpose other than its intended use.

3. Place the machine on a sturdy level work surface.

4. Do not allow any other materials to enter except coins.

5. Do not operate machine if electrical plug or power cord is damaged.

6. The machine should be placed nearby an electrical outlet so that the outlet is easily accessible.

7. Do not alter the electric plug in any way.

8. Turn off the power when unattended or not in use. Unplug the machine before moving it or when it is not in use for an
extended period of time.

9. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug
will fit in a polarized outlet one way. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper
outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way.

10. Keep machine out of direct sunlight and moisture.

11. Sorter operates best at room temperature.

12. Front door must be open before operating machine.

CHARACTERISTICS

1. The FS-44P coin tubes automatically adjust when full.

2. The FS-44P sorts up to 312 U.S. Quarters, Dimes, Nickels, and Pennies per minute.

3. There are sixteen coin tubes included.

4. When you place good quality, preformed coin wrappers into the proper coin tubes (we recommend Royal Sovereign FSW­216N or FSW-360N coin wrappers) the FS-44P automatically dispenses coins into the wrappers.

5. The FS-44P may also be used without coin wrappers.

6. If you want to print, please connect the printer.

Filled wrappers are ready for storage or bank deposit.

DIRECTIONS

WARNING:

1. DO NOT OPERATE THE MACHINE WITH THE FRONT COVER CLOSED. THIS MAY DAMAGE THE MACHINE. ALWAYS OPEN THE
FRONT COVER BEFORE OPERATING THE MACHINE.

2. Sensors automatically adjust tube trays into position. For best operation of the machine DO NOT manually move tube
trays while the FS-44P is in operation or sensors may become misaligned affecting the performance of the machine.

NOTE: DO NOT insert any foreign objects including: $1 coin, Non-US coins, damaged coins, sticky coins or coins that are

stuck together, clips, screws, paper, glass, and pins. DO NOT put fingers in opening.

1. Place the machine on a sturdy level work surface.

2. Plug the machine in after verifying the 120V outlet.

3. Open the front cover.

4. Remove coin tubes. Place the coin wrappers into the correct tubes. It is very important that the coin wrappers be

inserted all the way to the bottom of the tubes and that they do not extend above the top edge of the tube. If they extend
above the top edge of the tube, coins will not sort properly into the wrappers.

5. Return all sixteen tubes to the proper position. The coin tubes can only be inserted right side up. The tubes are labeled
on the inside base for each denomination: Q (Quarters),
N (Nickels), P (Pennies), D (Dimes).

NOTE: BECAUSE PENNIES AND DIMES ARE VERY CLOSE IN SIZE AND THICKNESS, THEY MAY SOMETIMES SORT INTO

OPPOSITE TUBES.

6. Turn the power switch on, located on the right side of the machine.

7. Press the RUN/STOP button to start the machine.

8. You will hear a "ticking" sound. This is the anti-jam device.

9. Drop the coins into the collection opening.

10. Coins will automatically start sorting into the first row.

11. Press the #/$ button at any time to switch from total dollar amount view or individual coin count view.

12. When a coin tube is full, the machine will stop temporarily to slide another coin tube into position. When an entire row of

one denomination is full, an alarm will sound and that row will automatically slide out.

13. Take out the full coin tubes and replace them with empty wrappers. Return the tubes back in place and push them back

so that the machine can start sorting into the first row again.

14. The digital counter will reset for that coin denomination but will continue counting the dollar amount until the CLEAR

botton is pushed.

15. Press the RUN/STOP button to restart.

16. To remove filled wrappers, pull up on the inside edge of the plastic tube. Then push the coin wrapper up from the

bottom of the tube. Fold inward the edges of the wrapper.

17. At any time during or after sorting you can view the LCD Display for your total dollar amount or your individual coin

count.

18. Press the CLEAR button to reset the display.

19. When you are finished sorting press the RUN/STOP button to stop the machine and then turn off the machine using the

power switch on the right side.

20. Be sure that the Hopper Lid Screw is always fastened when operating the machine. A loose lid may reduce performance.

USING FLAT WRAPPERS

1. Allow coins to fall directly into plastic tubes. Do not place flat wrappers into plastic tubes while operating.

2. Remove full coin tubes after sorting.

3. Hold a flat wrapper open by placing your index finger slightly inside the end of the wrapper. Slide the flat wrapper over the
top few coins in the tube.

4. While gently pushing the wrapper toward the bottom of the coin tube, tilt the coin tube so that the coins slide into the
wrapper. When the wrapper touches the bottom of the coin tube, hold the tube upright, and then fold the top of the
wrapper.

5. Turn the coin tube upside down and remove the coin-filled wrapper. Fold over the other end of the wrapper.

USING OPTIONAL PRINTER (RTP-1)

The FS-44P has an optional printer port that allows printing with Royal Sovereign optional thermal printer model RTP-1

1. Connect both ends of the serial cable supplied with the RTP-1 optional printer to FS-44P and RTP-1

2. Follow operation instructions for setting up the RTP-1 in the RTP-1 user manual.

3. Press the PRINT button to print totals from the FS-44P display to the RTP-1 printer.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom Check

1. Motor does not run.

1. Check that the power cord is plugged in.

2. Check that the power switch is turned on.

3. Push the 'RUN/STOP' button again.

4. Check that the tube trays are positioned properly.

2. There is a ticking sound. The ticking sound is normal. This is the anti-jam device.

3. Coins are not sorting into
tubes.

Foreign objects and bent, damaged, or sticky coins may cause the machine to jam:

1. Tap machine gently on the side to loosen jam.

2. This unit is designed to resolve jams automatically, so wait about 15 seconds as the
Agitation Screw and Running Vessel rotate forwards and backwards.

3. If the machine is still not sorting, push RUN/STOP to stop sorting.

4. Loosen Hopper Lid Screw with coin.

5. Lift Hopper Lid and remove Inner Vessel, exposing Running Vessel.

6. Retrieve jammed item and replace Inner Vessel.

7. Screw Hopper Lid and push RUN/STOP to start sorting again.

4. Counting is not correct

If there is a ERR sign on each coin counting column, then the sensor is failed or
covered by something. Contact Royal Sovereign office.

5. Coins are not counting If the counting sensor is broken, ERR will be seen on the display

PROCEDURE

Open front cover on coin sorter and
insert preformed coin wrappers into the
corresponding coin tubes.

Push the tube tray back to the
proper position. Turn on the
machine.

To retrieve jammed items, unscrew
Hopper Lid and remove Inner Vessel.

When a coin tube is full, the machine will
stop temporarily

to slide another coin tube into position.

Defective products must be returned to Royal Sovereign International Consumer Return Department, freight prepaid, with proof of

INTRODUCCIÓN

Gracias por comprar el Clasificador de Monedas Royal Sovereign FS-44P FAST SORT. Para garantizar el rendimiento óptimo,
lea con atención estas instrucciones antes de usarlo.

PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

Se deben leer y comprender las recomendaciones de seguridad descritas en esta
sección antes de utilizar esta máquina. Conserve esta información para referencia futura.

1. Para evitar posibles descargas eléctricas, no sumerja la máquina en el agua ni permita que entren líquidos en el interior.

2. No utilice la máquina para ningún otro propósito que no sea el que se tiene contemplado.

3. Coloque la máquina en una superficie de trabajo resistente y nivelada.

4. No introduzca ningún otro material que no sean monedas.

5. No utilice la máquina si el enchufe o el cable de alimentación está dañado.

6. La máquina se debe colocar cerca de un tomacorriente eléctrico para que haya un fácil acceso a éste.

7. No altere el enchufe eléctrico de ninguna manera.

8. Desconecte el suministro eléctrico cuando la máquina esté desatendida o cuando no se utilice.
Desconecte la máquina antes de moverla o cuando no se use por períodos prolongados.

9. Para reducir el riesgo de descargas eléctricas, este dispositivo tiene un enchufe polarizado (una paleta es más ancha que
la otra). Este enchufe deberá conectarse en un tomacorriente polarizado en un solo sentido. Si el enchufe no se puede
conectar en el tomacorriente, póngase en contacto con un técnico electricista calificado para instalar el tomacorriente
correcto. No altere el enchufe de ninguna manera.

10. Mantenga la máquina lejos de la luz solar directa y la humedad.

11. El clasificador funciona mejor a temperatura ambiente.

12. La puerta delantera debe estar abierta para operar la máquina.

CARACTERÍSTICAS

1. Los tubos de monedas del FS-44P se ajustan automáticamente cuando están llenos.

INSTRUCCIONES

ADVERTENCIA:

LA CUBIERTA DELANTERA ANTES DE OPERAR LA MÁQUINA.

2. Los sensores ajustan automáticamente las bandejas de tubos en la posición correcta. Para una mejor operación de la
máquina NO mueva las bandejas de tubos manualmente mientras el FS-44P se encuentre en funcionamiento, ya que los
sensores se pueden desalinear, lo que afecta el rendimiento de la máquina.

NOTA:

NO inserte objetos extraños, los que incluyen: monedas de $1, monedas extranjeras, monedas pegajosas o monedas

que están pegadas, monedas dañadas, broches, tornillos, papel, vidrio y alfileres. NO coloque los dedos en la abertura.

1. Coloque la máquina en una superficie de trabajo resistente y nivelada.

2. Conecte la máquina después de verificar que el voltaje sea de 120 V.

3. Abra la cubierta delantera.

4.

Quite los tubos de monedas. Coloque los envoltorios para monedas en los tubos correctos. Es muy importante que los envoltorios

para monedas se inserten completamente hasta el fondo de los tubos y que no se prolonguen más allá del borde superior de éste.

Si se prolongan más allá del borde superior del tubo, las monedas no se clasificarán en los envoltorios correctos.

5. Vuelva a colocar los dieciséis tubos en las posiciones correspondientes. Los tubos de monedas sólo pueden insertarse
con el lado derecho hacia arriba. Los tubos están rotulados en la base interior para cada denominación: Q (Quarters), N
(Nickels), P (Pennies) y D (Dimes).

NOTE: DADO QUE LAS MONEDAS DE 1 CENTAVO (PENNY) Y DE DIEZ CENTAVO (DIME) TIENEN TAMAÑOS Y ESPESORES

SIMILARES, ALGUNAS VECES PUEDEN CLASIFICARSE EN LOS TUBOS EQUIVOCADOS.

6. Active el interruptor de alimentación situado en la parte derecho de la máquina.

7. Presione el botón RUN/STOP para arrancar la máquina.

8. Escuchará un tictac. Este es el dispositivo antiobstrucción.

9. Deje caer las monedas en la abertura colectora.

10. Las monedas comenzarán a clasificarse automáticamente en la primera fila.

11. Presione el botón #/$ en cualquier momento para cambiar la vista del monto total de dinero o la vista del conteo

individual de monedas.

12. Cuando un tubo de monedas está lleno, la máquina se detendrá temporalmente para colocar otro tubo de monedas.

Cuando se llena una fila completa de una denominación, suena una alarma y esa fila sale deslizándose de manera
automática.

13. Saque los tubos de monedas llenos y reemplácelos con envoltorios vacíos. Vuelva a colocar los tubos en su lugar y

vuelva a empujarlos para que la máquina pueda comenzar a clasificar en filas nuevamente.

14. El contador digital volverá a cero para esa denominación de monedas pero continuará contando el monto de dinero

hasta que se presione el botón CLEAR.

15. Presione el botón RUN/STOP para volver a empezar.

16. Para quitar envoltorios llenos, tire hacia arriba dentro del borde del tubo plástico. Luego, empuje hacia arriba el

envoltorio para monedas desde la parte inferior del tubo. Pliegue los bordes del envoltorio hacia adentro.

17. En cualquier momento, durante o después de la clasificación, puede ver en la Pantalla LCD el monto total de dinero o el

conteo individual de monedas.

18. Presione el botón CLEAR para restablecer la pantalla.

19. Cuando termine de clasificar presione el botón RUN/STOP para detener la máquina y luego apáguela con el interruptor

de alimentación que se encuentra en la parte derecho de la misma.

20. Asegúrese de que el tornillo de la tapa del embudo esté siempre ajustado cuando opera la máquina. Una tapa floja

puede reducir el rendimiento.

USO DE ENVOLTORIOS PLANOS

1. Deje caer las monedas directamente en los tubos plásticos. No coloque envoltorios planos en los tubos plásticos mientras
la máquina está funcionando.

2. Quite los tubos de monedas llenos después de la clasificación.

3. Mantenga abierto un envoltorio plano colocando el dedo índice ligeramente adentro del extremo de éste. Deslice el
envoltorio plano sobre algunas monedas en la parte superior del tubo.

4. A la vez que empuja suavemente el envoltorio hacia la parte inferior del tubo de monedas, incline este último para que
las monedas se deslicen dentro del envoltorio. Cuando el envoltorio toque la parte inferior del tubo de monedas, sostenga
el tubo de manera vertical y luego pliegue la parte superior del envoltorio.

5. Invierta el tubo de monedas y quite el envoltorio lleno de monedas. Cierre el otro extremo del envoltorio.

ADDUTILIZANDO LA IMPRESORA OPCIONAL (RTP-1)

El FS-44 P tiene un puerto de impresora opcional que permite la impresión con el modelo de impresora térmica opcional
de Royal Sovereign RTP-11. Conecte ambos extremos del cable serie suministrado con la impresora opcional de RTP 1 P
FS-44 y RTP-12. Siga las instrucciones de operación para configurar la RTP-1 en el manual de usuario de RTP-1.3. Pulse el
botón Imprimir para imprimir los totales de la visualización de FS-44 P a la impresora de la RTP-1.

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

Síntoma Comprobar

1. El motor no funciona

1. Compruebe que esté conectado el cable de alimentación.

2. Compruebe que esté encendido el interruptor de alimentación.

3. Vuelva a presionar el botón 'RUN/STOP'.

4. Compruebe que las bandejas de tubos estén colocadas correctamente.

2. Se escucha un tictac 1. Este sonido es normal. Éste es el dispositivo antiobstrucción.

3. Las monedas no se
clasifican en los tubos
Los objetos extraños y las
monedas dobladas, dañadas
o pegajosas pueden causar
daños en la máquina:

1. Golpee suavemente la máquina para soltar el atasco.

2. Esta unidad está diseñada para soltar atascos automáticamente en el embudo, por la tanto espere
15 segundos mientras el tornillo de agitación y el recipiente en funcionamiento gire hacia adelante y
hacia atrás.

3. Si la máquina aún no clasifica, presione el botón RUN/STOP para detener la clasificación.

4. Afloje el tornillo de la tapa del embudo con una moneda.

5. Levante la tapa del embudo y retire el recipiente interior, dejando expuesto el recipiente en
funcionamiento.

6. Recoja el artículo obstruido y reemplace el recipiente interior

7. Atornille la tapa del embudo y presione el botón RUN/STOP para comenzar a clasificar nuevamente.

4. Contar no es correcta

Si hay un signo de ERR en cada columna para contar monedas, el sensor está fallado o cubierto por
algo. Póngase en contacto con la oficina de Royal Sovereign.

5. Las monedas no están
contando

Si el sensor de conteo se rompe, ERR se verá en la pantalla

ERR1: En caso de mal posicionamiento entre las bandejas y el sensor frontal o mal funcionamiento del sensor frontal.

nuevo.
ERR3: En caso de mal posicionamiento entre las bandejas y los sensores o mal funcionamiento de los sensores.

PROCEDIMIENTO

Abra la cubierta delantera del
clasificador de monedas e inserte los

GARANTÍA LIMITADA DE UN AÑO

Esta garantía se aplica a la reparación o el reemplazo del producto en caso de que resulte defectuoso en su material o confección
durante un año a partir la fecha de compra original. Esta garantía se extiende sólo al comprador original.

Esta garantía no se aplica a daños provocados por el maltrato, mal uso o un mantenimiento inapropiado de daños que se atribuyan
a causas de fuerza mayor. Royal Sovereign International, Inc. (y sus empresas asociadas) no se hacen responsables por daños
accidentales o resultantes de cualquier naturaleza. Esta limitación no se aplicará si usted vive en las áreas en las que no se permite
la exclusión o la limitación de daños accidentales o consecuentes.
Los productos defectuosos para reparación o reemplazo en garantía no se pueden devolver sin el número de Autorización de
devolución.

Los productos defectuosos deben ser devueltos al Departamento de devolución del consumidor de Royal Sovereign International,
con franqueo prepago, con resguardo de compra y el pago del Envío y manipulación por devolución (cheque o giro postal). Una
vez que el producto haya sido reparado o reemplazado, será devuelto al cliente.
