17. Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive products.
18. Do not use at temperatures below 32°F and above 95°F.
19. The appliance and attachments are hot when in use. Do not let eyes and bare skin touch heated surfaces.

3. GETTING STARTED
1. Lock System (Fig3) : To open the clamps, pull the Lock System back. To lock the clamps: close the clamps and push the "Lock System“ to the front.
2. Plug in the appliance.
3. Set the ON / OFF switch to position On. (B)
4.Your appliance will heat up very quickly (ready to use in less
than 30 seconds) and the temperature will remain stable throughout use. (Fig. 1)
5. Select the ideal temperature for your hair using the -/+ (fig.
2) buttons: press the – button to reduce the temperature or the + button to increase it. The red light indicates the selected temperature.
6. After use: Place ON/OFF (B) switch in the stop position (Off), close the clamps, use the "Lock System", unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down completely before putting it away.
Locking the temperature:
To avoid any handling error, such as inadvertently pressing the +/- buttons during use, this appliance is designed with a locking function. If you want to lock your temperature setting during use, press the + or – button for 2 seconds. A padlock will appear on the screen to signal that your temperature setting has been locked. If you want to change the temperature, you will have to unlock it by again pressing the + or – button for 2 seconds. Once your setting has been unlocked, the padlock will disappear from the screen.
4. USING YOUR STYLER
IMPORTANT: This styler works in a well-defined direction – always use this styler with the heating comb facing down (see Fig. 6).
The ceramic coating of the comb and the plates protects your hair against excessive temperatures, by distributing the heat in a uniform manner.

• Your hair should be clean, dry and untangled. (see Fig. 4)

• Select a small first section at the nape to start and clip the rest of your hair up and out of the way.
• Take a small section of hair, comb it through and place between the heating comb and smoothing plates of your styler, close to the roots. (See Fig. 5)
• Hold hair firmly between the plates and slowly glide the styler through your hair all the way down to the ends. (see Fig. 7)
• Allow smoothed hair to cool down before styling.
• Repeat this throughout the back and side sections, working up towards the top of the head, creating new sections as you go until you have completed the whole head
TIPS:
- Always straighten your hair starting from the nape and work up towards the top of your head.
- Glide the iron along each section using a smooth, continuous movement to avoid any streaks.
- Apply a styling product before smoothing your hair, to achieve a sleeker look.
5. CLEANING AND USER MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Always unplug your appliance and allow it
to cool before cleaning it. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a dry cloth. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service rep­resentative. A proper method of cord storage & total appliance storage; and cord care while in use.
• The appliance should be stored in a safe, dry location, out of reach of children.
• If the cord of the appliance is twisted, to untwist the cord before use.
• Do not wrap cord around the appliance.
6. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION FIRST!
Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a local civic waste collection point if applicable.
