KURZBEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG

EINFÜHRUNG

Wir gratulieren Ihnen zum Kauf des Thermometers ROTRONIC TP31-S mit aus­klappbarem Einstechfühler. Es liefert schnell und zuverlässig Temperaturen aus
dem Inneren von Flüssigkeiten und einstechfähigen Materialien (Kerntemperatu­ren). Ein rückbeleuchtetes Display erlaubt in Verbindung mit den ergo-

nomisch angeordneten Drucktasten einen ef zienten Messbetrieb.

Der stabile Einstechfühler kann bis zu 180° ausgeklappt werden
und ist dank eines robusten Scharniers in der Lage, auch mit er­heblichem Kraftaufwand in halbfeste und zähplastische Medien
einzudringen.

FUNKTIONSPRINZIP

In der Spitze der hermetisch geschlossenen Edelstahlhülse bendet sich ein NTC-Mess­widerstand (Heißleiter), dessen Leitfähigkeit mit steigender Temperatur zunimmt. Die
Geräteelektronik misst den NTC-Widerstand kontinuierlich, setzt das Messergebnis in
die entsprechende Temperatur in ° C (Celsius) oder °F (Fahrenheit) um und gibt das Ergeb -

nis im Bereich von -50 °C (-58 °F) bis +300 °C (572 °F) auf dem Display (LCD) des Gerätes

aus. Die geringe Masse der Messspitze ergibt eine kurze Angleichszeit. Dadurch steht
das Messergebnis nach wenigen Sekunden zur Verfügung und die Probentemperatur

wird nur geringstmöglich beeinusst.

TASTEN

HOLD: Die HOLD-Taste friert die Anzeige ein und schaltet die Hintergrundbeleuch-

tung des Displays an.

MAX/MIN: Der höchste und der niedrigste Messwert im Messintervall wird angezeigt.
°C/°F: Umschalten der Temperatureinheit.

Ein- und Ausschalten

Ausklappen bzw. Einklappen des Fühlers schaltet das Gerät ein bzw.aus.
Nach ca. 5 min. ohne Betätigung schaltet das Gerät automatisch aus.

Batteriewechsel

Sobald das Batteriesymbol auf dem Display erscheint, sollten die Batterien ausge­tauscht werden. Dazu den Deckel auf der Rückseite öffnen, die alten Batterien entneh­men und die neuen Batterien in korrekter Polarität einlegen. Deckel wieder schließen.

Wartung

• Im Servicefall nur vom Hersteller f reigegebenen Teile verwenden.

• Das Gehäuse regelmäßig mit einem trockenen, weichen Tuch abwischen.
Keine Schleif- oder Lösemittel verwenden. Als Desinfektionsmittel kann
70%iger Alkohol verwendet werden.

INTRODUCTION

Nous vous félicitons pour l’achat de votre thermomètre ROTRONIC TP31-S avec
capteur à encher repliable. Il fournir rapidement et avec abilité les tempéra­tures intérieures de liquides et tous matériaux dans lesquels son capteur peut

être enché (température interne). Un afchage avec rétroclairage,

ainsi que la disposition ergonomique des touches, assurent un fonc-

tionnement efcient.

Le robuste capteur à encher peut être déplié sur 180° et reste,

grâce à sa solide charnière, en mesure de pénétrer dans les maté­riaux semi-solides et viscoplastiques, malgré la force exercée sur
le capteur.

Veuillez lire attentivement ce manuel, avant la mise en ser vice de
l’appareil.

GAMME D’UTILISATION

Préparation de produits alimentaires, utilisation en laboratoire et pour la production
dans les industries chimiques et pharmaceutiques, mesure de la température dans des
gaz et des liquides, assurance de la qualité, documentation de la chaîne du froid, etc.

PRINCIPE DE FONCTIONNEMENT

Dans la pointe, hermétiquement fermée, de la hampe en acier spécial du capteur, se
trouve une résistance NTC (thermistance) de mesure, dont la conductibilité augmente en
rapport avec la montée de la températ ure. L’électronqiue de l’appareil mesure en perma­nence la résistance NTC, convertit le résultat de mesure en température °C (Celsius) ou

°F (Fahrenheit) et afche le résultat dans la gamme de -50 °C (-58 °F) à +300 °C (572 °F)

sur l’écran (LCD) de l’appareil. La faible masse de la pointe de mesure assure un temps
d’égalisation très court. Le résultat de la mesure est, en conséquence, disponible en

quelques secondes et la température de l’échantillon est le moins possible inuencée.

TOUCHES

HOLD: La touche HOLD gèle l’afchage et et allume le rétroéclairage.
MAX/MIN: La valeur la plus haute et la plus basse de l’intervalle de mesure est afchée.
°C/°F: Commutation de l’unité de température.

Mise en/hors service

Déplier ou replier le capteur allume ou éteint l’appareil.
L’appareil est mis automatiquement hors service après 5 minutes d’inaction.

Changement des piles

Les piles doivent être changées dès que le symbole des piles apparaî t sur l’écran. Ouvrir
pour cela le couvercle au dos de l’appareil, remplacer les piles usagées par des neuves
en respectant la polarité. Refermer le couvercle.

Entretien

• N’utiliser, pour le service, que les pièces agrées par le fabricant.

• Passer régulièrement un chiffon doux et sec sur le boîtier.
Ne pas utiliser de produit abrasif ou de solvant. Une solution d’alcool à 70% peut
être utilisée comme désinfectant.

Remarque

Retourner les appareils défectueux au fabricant.

SHORT INSTRUCTION MANUAL

INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on your purchase of the ROTRONIC TP31-S thermometer with
fold-out immersion probe. It indicates temperatures quickly and reliably from

within uids and penetrable materials (core temperatures). A back-lit display,

combined with the ergonomically arranged push-buttons, makes for

efcient measuring.

The rugged immersion probe can be folded out to an angle of 180°,
and thanks to its robust hinge, can penetrate semi-solid and vis­cous plastic materials under considerable force.

Please read these instructions through carefully before using the

device for the rst time.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

At the tip of the probe, enclosed in a stainless-steel capsule, there is an NTC measure­ment resistor (thermistor), the conductivity of which increases as the temperature rises.
The electronics of the device continuously measure the NTC resistance, conver t the mea­sured value to the associated temperature in °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit), and output

the result in the range of -50 °C (-58 °F) to +300 °C (572 °F) to the unit's display (LCD). The

low mass of the measur ing point makes for a short accommodation time . This means that
the measurement is available w ithin a few seconds, and the temperature of the sample is
affected only to the slightest degree.

BUTTONS

HOLD: The HOLD button freezes the display, and switches on the backlighting

of the display.
MAX/MIN: The highest and lowest measured values in the measurement interval
are displayed.
°C/°F: Switch the unit of temperature.

Switching on and off

Folding the probe out or in switches the device on or off, respectively.
The unit switches off automatically after approx. 5 minutes if not used.

Battery Replacement

The batteries should be replaced as soon as the battery symbol appears in the display.
To do this, open the cover on the rear, remove the old batteries, and insert new ones,
observing the correct polarity. Close the cover again.

Maintenance

• In the case of repairs, use only parts approved by the manufacturer.

• Wipe the housing regularly with a soft, dr y cloth.
Do not use abrasives or solvents. For disinfection,
70% alcohol can be used.

INTRODUZIONE

Complimenti per l'acquisto del termometro ROTRONIC TP31-S con sonda a inse-

rimento ribaltabile. E' uno strumento afdabile e rapido per il rilevamento della

temperatura interna di liquidi e materiali penetrabili (temperatura interna). Un
display retroilluminato, in abbinamento ai pulsanti disposti in maniera

ergonomica, rende efcienti le operazioni di misurazione.

La solida sonda può essere ribaltata no a 180° e, grazie alla robu-

sta cerniera, può essere inserita nelle sostanze semisolide e visco­elastiche, anche applicando una notevole forza.

PRINCIPIO DI FUNZIONAMENTO

Nella punta della capsula di acciaio inox ermetica si trova un resistore NTC (termoresi­stenza), la cui conducibilità aumenta con l'incremento della temperatura. L'elettronica
dello strumento misura la resistenza NTC in modo continuo, trasforma il risultato della
misurazione in °C (centigradi) o °F (Fahrenheit) e visualizza il risultato in un campo com-

preso tra -50 °C (-58 °F) e +300 °C (572 °F) sul display (LCD) dello strumento. Grazie alla

massa ridotta della punta di misurazione i periodi di adattamento sono ridotti. Di con­seguenza, il risultato della misurazione è disponibile già dopo pochi secondi e l'impatto
sulla temperatura del provino è trascurabile.

PULSANTI

del display.

MAX/MIN: Visualizzazione del valore massimo e minimo nell'intervallo di misurazione.
°C/°F: Selezione dell'unità di misura della temperatura.

Accensione e Spegnimento

Il ribaltamento o la chiusura della sonda comporta l'accensione o lo spegnimento dello
strumento. Lo strumento si spegne automaticamente se rimane inattivo per ca. 5 minuti
continuativi.

Sostituzione della batteria

E' consigliabile sostituire le batterie subito quando il corrispondente simbolo compare
sul display. Per sostituire le batterie, aprire lo sportello sul retro, estrarre le batterie
vecchie e inserire quelle nuove rispettando la corretta polarità. Richiudere quindi lo
sportello.

Manutenzione

• In occasione di interventi di assistenza, utilizzare esclusivamente componenti
approvati dal produttore.

• Ad intervalli regolari, passare un panno asciutto e morbido sul corpo dello strumento.
Non utilizzare sostanze abrasive o solventi. Per disinfettare lo strumento utilizzare
alcol al 70 %.

Avvertenza

Rispedire al produttore eventuali strumenti difettosi.
