For PD-120/PD-80R Owners
When using PD-120 or PD-80R, the rim shot may sound
occasionally even when the head is struck. Should such misstriggering occur, try reducing the value of rim sensitivity “RIM
SENS” on trigger parameter.
The optimum amount of the rim sensitivity value may vary
depending on how the pad is mounted. Please refer to following
pages of the owners manual for the detail on trigger parameter.
TD-6: p. 76
TD-8: p. 130
TD-10: p. 110
SPD-20: p. 53
HPD-15: p. 74
* Rim sensitivity parameter is used to adjust the sensitivity of the rim
trigger sensor, i.e. the sensitivity will increase when the value is
increased and vice versa. The only the head shot will sound when it’s
set to “OFF.”
