Einführung

Informationen zu dieser Bedienungsanleitung

Diese Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil der Auto-Bordbar RABB 12 A1 (nachfolgend als Gerät bezeichnet) und gibt Ihnen wichtige Hinweise für den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch, die Sicherheit, den Anschluss sowie die Bedienung des Gerätes.

Die Bedienungsanleitung muss ständig in der Nähe des Gerätes verfügbar sein. Sie ist von jeder Person zu lesen und anzuwenden, die mit der Bedienung und Störungsbehebung des Gerätes beschäftigt ist.

Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung auf und geben Sie diese mit dem Gerät an Nachbesitzer weiter.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Dieses Gerät ist nur zur Kühlung von verpackten Lebensmitteln in geschlossenen Räumen, speziell in Kraftfahrzeugen bestimmt. Zusätzlich ist dieses Gerät für den Campingeinsatz geeignet. In fahrenden Kraftfahrzeugen muss das Gerät durch Haltegurte gesichert werden. Hierzu muss der Sicherheitsgurt verwendet werden. Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung in gewerblichen oder industriellen Bereichen vorgesehen.

Von dem Gerät können bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung und/ oder andersartiger Nutzung Gefahren ausgehen.

Sicherheit

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise für den Umgang mit dem Gerät. Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen. Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschäden führen.

Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise

Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise:

GEFAHR

► Geben Sie niemals Kinder oder Tiere in das Kühlfach! Der Mangel an

Frischluft würde zum Ersticken führen.

► In fahrenden Kraftfahrzeugen muss das Gerät durch Haltegurte gesichert

werden. Hierzu muss der Sicherheitsgurt verwendet werden.

WARNUNG

► Lagern Sie in diesem Gerät keine explosionsfähigen Stoﬀ e, wie z. B. Aerosol-

behälter mit brennbarem Treibgas.

► Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere sichtbare Schä-

den. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes oder heruntergefallenes Gerät nicht in Betrieb. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr!

► Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder)

mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.

► Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit

dem Gerät spielen.

► Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fachbetrieben

oder dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Anschlussstecker oder Anschlusskabel sofort von

autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

Dieses Gerät darf nicht dem Regen ausgesetzt werden. Schützen Sie das

Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten und Gegenständen in das Gehäuse. Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals unter Wasser und stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände (z. B. Vasen) auf das Gerät. Das Gerät kann irreparabel beschädigt werden.

► Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von oﬀ enen Flammen (z. B. Kerzen) betreiben.

Das Gerät kann irreparabel beschädigt werden.

► Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonnenbestrahlung. Das Gerät kann irreparabel

beschädigt werden.

► Die Zuleitung immer am Anschlussstecker aus der Buchse ziehen, nicht am

Anschlusskabel. Ansonsten kann das Kabel beschädigt werden.

Sicherheitshinweise

WARNUNG Bei der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes können Personen- und

Sachschäden auftreten!

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um die Gefahren zu vermeiden:

► Beachten Sie die Hinweise zu den Anforderungen an den Aufstellort sowie

zum elektrischen Anschluss des Gerätes, um Personen- und Sachschäden zu vermeiden.

Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

● Anschlusskabel mit Kfz-Stecker

● Tragegurt

● Ersatzsicherung für Kfz-Stecker

● Bedienungsanleitung

HINWEIS

Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.

► ► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service).

Auspacken

♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und diese Anleitung aus dem Karton. ♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial und ziehen Sie die Schutz-

folie vom Bedienpanel ab.

GEFAHR

► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen von Kindern verwendet

werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoﬀ e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Aufstellen und Anschließen

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort

Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

GEFAHR

► Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten

Umgebung oder in der Nähe von brennbarem Material, sonst besteht Brandgefahr.

► In Kraftfahrzeugen dürfen Sie das Gerät nur so aufstellen, dass es den Fahrer

weder behindern noch ablenken kann, andernfalls besteht Unfallgefahr.

► Ist eine Sicherung des Gerätes mittels Sicherheitsgurt nicht möglich, darf

das Gerät nicht im Fahrgastraum transportiert werden, sondern muss im Koﬀ erraum verstaut werden. Sichern Sie das Gerät auch im Koﬀ erraum gegen unkontrollierte Bewegungen, passend zum Kfz-Typ. Verwenden Sie dazu geeignete Spanngurte oder Fangnetze, damit das Gerät auch in Unfallsituationen keine Gefahr für die Insassen darstellen kann.

ACHTUNG

Wird das Gerät nicht in einem Kraftfahrzeug verwendet, stellen Sie es auf

►

eine feste, ﬂ ache und waagerechte Unterlage.

► Das Gerät so aufstellen oder montieren, dass vorhandene Lüftungsöﬀ nungen

nicht verdeckt werden, sonst kann das Gerät überhitzen.

► Sie dürfen das Gerät nur in Kraftfahrzeugen verwenden, die am Zigaret-

tenanzünder 12V bereitstellen. In Kraftfahrzeugen können Sie das Gerät z.B. mittig auf der Rücksitzbank platzieren, sofern dort ein Sicherheitsgurt zur Sicherung des Gerätes vorhanden ist. Dann dient das Gerät auch als bequeme Armablage.

Elektrischer Anschluss

ACHTUNG

Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Angaben zur benötig-

►

ten Betriebsspannung auf dem Typenschild mit der für den Betrieb vorgesehenen Spannungsquelle. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten.

► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Anschlusskabel des Gerätes unbeschä-

digt ist und nicht über heiße Flächen und/oder scharfe Kanten verlegt wird, sonst wird es beschädigt.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Anschlusskabel nicht straﬀ gespannt oder

geknickt wird. In Kraftfahrzeugen darf das Kabel niemals von den Fahrzeugtüren gequetscht werden, sonst wird es beschädigt.

Aufstellen des Gerätes

♦ Suchen Sie einen geeigneten Aufstellort für das Gerät aus (siehe auch Kapitel

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort).

♦ In Kraftfahrzeugen sollten Sie das Gerät auf der Rücksitzbank oder dem Bei-

fahrersitz platzieren. Dann muss das Gerät mit dem Sicherheitsgurt gesichert werden:

♦ Klappen Sie den Kühlfachdeckel auf und lösen Sie die Kette. ♦ Führen Sie den Sicherheitsgurt so, dass der Diagonalgurt hinter dem

Deckel verläuft und der Beckengurt vor dem Kühlfachdeckel in der Führung für den Sicherheitsgurt liegt. Lassen Sie den Sicherheitsgurt im Schloss einrasten.

♦ Hängen Sie die Kette wieder ein und schließen Sie den Kühlfachdeckel.

Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass die Kette nicht zwischen Kühlfachdeckel und Kühlbox eingeklemmt wird.

HINWEIS

Wenn Sie die Kühlbox mit einem Beckengurt mittig auf der Rückbank sichern,

►

ist es nicht nötig die Kette abzunehmen. Führen Sie den Beckengurt einfach unter der Kette hindurch, so dass dieser in der Führung für den Sicherheitsgurt liegt und lassen Sie den Beckengurt im Schloss einrasten.

GEFAHR

► Ist eine Sicherung des Gerätes mittels Sicherheitsgurt nicht möglich, darf

Stromversorgung herstellen

♦ Nehmen Sie das Anschlusskabel aus dem Staufach und stecken

Sie den Gerätestecker des Kabels in die Anschlussbuchse für die 12 V Betriebsspannung .

♦ Stecken Sie den Kfz-Stecker des Anschlusskabels anstelle des Zigaretten-

anzünders in dessen Buchse ein.

ACHTUNG

Der Zigarettenzünder mancher Kfz-Fabrikate liefert auch bei ausgeschalteter Zündung Strom.

► Schalten Sie daher das Gerät aus oder trennen Sie es von der Stromzufuhr,

wenn Sie das Fahrzeug verlassen. Andernfalls könnte die Kfz-Batterie soweit entleert werden, dass das Fahrzeug nicht mehr gestartet werden kann!

Bedienung und Betrieb

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zu Bedienung und Betrieb des Gerätes.

Ein- und Ausschalten

♦ Um das Gerät einzuschalten, bringen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter in die

ON-Position. Die Einschaltkontrollleuchte leuchtet dann.

♦ Um das Gerät auszuschalten, bringen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter in die

OFF-Position. Die Einschaltkontrollleuchte erlischt dann.

Kühlfach beladen

HINWEIS

Bevor Sie das neue Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie es aus hygienischen

►

Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel Reinigung/Lagerung/Entsorgung).

Das Gerät kühlt den Inhalt des Kühlfaches Umgebungstemperatur. Wenn Sie Lebensmittel ins Kühlfach geben, sollten diese aber bereits vorgekühlt sein, da das Abkühlen der Lebensmittel bei beladenem Gerät länger dauern könnte, als es für die Lebensmittel gut ist.

♦ Um den Deckel des Kühlfaches zu öﬀ nen, schieben Sie den Riegel in die

Position UNLOCK und heben Sie die Verriegelung an.

♦ Befüllen Sie nun das Kühlfach . Lebensmittel müssen verpackt sein,

Flüssigkeiten müssen sich in dichten Behältern beﬁ nden. Das Fach bietet ein Volumen von 13 l und fasst z.B. 20 liegende Getränkedosen á 0,33 l.

♦ Anschließend schließen Sie den Deckel wieder. Achten Sie darauf, dass die

Verriegelung des Kühlfachdeckels einrastet, sonst sinkt die Kühlleistung.

♦ Schieben Sie den Riegel in die Position LOCK, um den Deckel des Kühlfa-

ches

zu verschließen.

Zusätzliche Ablagefächer

Das Gerät bietet Ihnen 3 zusätzliche Ablagemöglichkeiten. In den Ablage- /Abstellfächern können Sie Getränkedosen abstellen oder andere Gegenstände ablegen.

HINWEIS

Bitte beachten Sie, dass in den Ablage- /Abstellfächern keine Kühlung

Benutzung des Tragegurtes

Für den vereinfachten Transport des Gerätes können Sie den mitgelieferten Tragegurt daran befestigen.

♦ Wickeln Sie dazu den Tragegurt ab und führen Sie ihn durch die Ösen . ♦ Anschließend fädeln Sie das freie Ende des Tragegurts so durch die

Schlaufe am entgegengesetzten Tragegurtende, dass der Tragegurt fest sitzt und das ggf. beladene Gerät tragen kann (siehe Abbildung).

Sicherungswechsel

Im Kfz-Stecker beﬁ ndet sich eine Sicherung. Sollte das Gerät nicht funktionieren, könnte die Sicherung defekt sein. Dann wechseln Sie diese gegen die mitgelieferte Ersatzsicherung

Ce mode d'emploi fait partie intégrante de la glacière RABB 12 A1 (désigné ci-après par appareil) et vous donne des indications importantes sur l'utilisation en bonne et due forme du matériel, la sécurité, le raccordement et la commande de l'appareil.

La notice d'utilisation doit en tout temps être accessible à proximité de l'appareil. Elle doit être lue et respectée par toute personne est chargée de l'utilisation et du dépannage de l'appareil.

Conservez cette notice d'utilisation et remettez-la au nouveau propriétaire de l'appareil.

Utilisation conforme

Cet appareil est exclusivement concu pour la réfrigération de produits alimentaires; réfrigération résultant dans des locaux fermés, en particulier dans les véhicules. Cet appareil peut par ailleurs être utilisé en camping. Dans les véhicules en marche, l'appareil doit être bloqué par des ceintures de sécurité. La ceinture de sécurité doit être utilisée à cette ﬁ n. Toute utilisation autre que celle indiquée est considérée comme non conforme. Cet appareil n'est pas conçu pour être utilisé dans des contextes commerciaux ou industriels.

Sécurité

Ce chapitre vous fournit d'importantes consignes de sécurité relatives à l'utilisation de l'appareil. Cet appareil est conforme aux consignes de sécurité prescrites. Tout usage non conforme peut entraîner des accidents de personnes ou des dommages matériels.

Consignes de sécurité fondamentales

Pour opérer l'appareil en toute sécurité, respecter les consignes de sécurité suivantes :

► Ne laissez jamais pénétrer des enfants ou des animaux dans la glacière !

Le manque d'air frais provoquerait leur asphyxie.

► Dans les véhicules en marche, l’appareil doit être bloqué par des ceintures

de sécurité. La ceinture de sécurité doit être utilisée à cette ﬁ n.

AVERTISSEMENT

► N'entreposez aucune substance explosive dans cet appareil, telle que par

ex. un conteneur aérosol avec un gaz propulseur inﬂ ammable.

► Vériﬁ ez l'absence de dommages manifestes avant utilisation de l'appareil.

Ne mettez pas en service un appareil endommagé ou ayant subi une chute. Il y a risque de blessures !

► Cet appareil n'est pas prévu pour des personnes (y compris des enfants)

dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou dont le manque d'expérience ou de connaissances les empêchent d'assurer un usage sûr

des appareils, s'ils n'ont pas été surveillés ou initiés au préalable.

► Veuillez respecter les consignes relatives aux exigences imposées au lieu

d'installation et au raccordement électrique de l'appareil, aﬁ n d'éviter

toutes blessures corporelles et tous dégâts matériels.

Déballage

♦ Sortez du carton toutes les pièces de l'appareil et ces instructions d'utilisation. ♦ Retirer tous les emballages et décoller le ﬁ lm protecteur du panneau de

commande.

Evacuation de l'emballage

L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport. Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de l'environnement et d'élimination, de sorte qu'ils peuvent être recyclés.

Le retour de l'emballage dans les ﬁ lières de recyclage permet d'économiser les matières premières et réduit le volume de déchets. Recyclez les matériaux d'emballage qui ne sont plus utilisés en conformité avec la réglementation.

Installation et raccordement

Exigences imposées au lieu d'installation

Pour un fonctionnement sûr et sans défauts de l'appareil, son lieu d'installation doit respecter les conditions suivantes :

DANGER

► N'utilisez pas l'appareil dans un environnement chaud, mouillé ou très

humide, ou à proximité de matériaux inﬂ ammables, sinon vous courez un

risque d'incendie.

► Dans les véhicules, vous avez uniquement le droit d’installer l’appareil

de manière à ce qu’il ne puisse ni gêner le conducteur, ni détourner son

attention, sinon vous courez un risque d’accident.

► S’il n’est pas possible de sécuriser l’appareil à l’aide de la ceinture de sécu-

rité, l’appareil ne doit pas être transporté dans l’espace passager, mais dans

le coﬀ re du véhicule. Installé dans le coﬀ re, l’appareil doit aussi être bloqué

pour éviter ses mouvements incontrôlés de manière adaptée au type de véhi-

cule. Pour ce faire, utilisez des sangles de serrage ou des ﬁ lets de sécurité,

aﬁ n que l’appareil ne risque pas d’être dangereux pour les passagers, y

compris dans les situations d’accident.

ATTENTION

Si l'appareil n'est pas utilisé dans un véhicule, posez-le sur un support ferme,

plat et horizontal.

► Installez ou montez l'appareil de telle manière que les ouvertures d'aération

existantes ne soient pas recouvertes, faute de quoi l'appareil peut surchauﬀ er.

► L'appareil doit uniquement être utilisé dans des véhicules qui disposent d'un

allume-cigare fournissant du courant 12 V

Avant le raccordement de l'appareil, comparez les données relatives à la

tension de service requise sur la plaque signalétique avec la source de

courant prévue pour le fonctionnement. Ces données doivent concorder,

aﬁ n d'éviter tous dégâts sur l'appareil.

► Assurez-vous que le cordon de raccordement de l'appareil n'a pas été

endommagé et n'est pas posé sur des surfaces humides et/ou des arêtes

vives, sinon vous courez un risque de court-circuit.

► Veillez à ce que le cordon de raccordement ne soit pas tendu trop

fortement ou coudé. Dans les véhicules, le câble ne doit jamais être coincé

dans les portes du véhicule, sinon il risque d'être endommagé.

Installation de l'appareil

♦ Cherchez un lieu d'installation approprié pour l'appareil (voir aussi chapitre

Exigences imposées au lieu d'installation).

♦ Dans les véhicules motorisés, il est recommandé de placer l’appareil sur la

banquette arrière ou sur le siège passager. L’appareil doit ensuite être sécu-

risé à l’aide de la ceinture de sécurité :

♦ Ouvrez le couvercle de la glacière et desserrez la chaîne. ♦ Guidez la ceinture de sécurité aﬁ n que la ceinture diagonale passe derrière

le couvercle et que la ceinture abdominale se situe devant le couvercle de la

glacière dans la rainure pour la ceinture de sécurité

Pour ce faire, utilisez des sangles de serrage ou des ﬁ lets de sécurité, aﬁ n que l’appareil ne risque pas d’être dangereux pour les passagers, y compris dans les situations d’accident.

♦ Sortez le cordon de raccordement du compartiment de rangement

et enfoncez le socle connecteur du câble dans la ﬁ che de raccordement

à la tension d'alimentation à 12 V .

♦ Enfoncez la prise côté véhicule du cordon de raccordement à la place de

l'allume-cigare dans la douille de celui-ci.

ATTENTION

L'allume-cigare de certains modèles de véhicule fournit aussi du courant lorsque le contact du véhicule est coupé.

► S’il n’est pas possible de sécuriser l’appareil à l’aide de la ceinture de

sécurité, l’appareil ne doit pas être transporté dans l’espace passager, mais dans le coﬀ re du véhicule. Sinon la batterie du véhicule risque de se décharger au point d'empêcher tout redémarrage du véhicule !

Fonctionnement et utilisation

Dans ce chapitre, nous vous donnons des conseils importants sur l'utilisation et le fonctionnement de l'appareil.

Allumer et éteindre

♦ Pour mettre l'appareil en marche, amenez le commutateur de marche/

arrêt

sur la position ON. Alors le voyant de mise en marche s'allume.

♦ Pour éteindre l'appareil, amenez le commutateur de marche/arrêt sur

la position OFF. Le voyant de mise en marche s'éteint alors.

Charger le compartiment réfrigérant

REMARQUE

Avant de mettre en service le nouvel appareil, il est recommandé pour des

raisons hygiéniques de nettoyer l’appareil à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur à l’aide d’un chiﬀ on humide (cf. également le chapitre Nettoyage/Entre- posage/Mise au rebut).

L'appareil réfrigère le contenu du compartiment réfrigérant par rapport à la température ambiante. Si vous mettez des produits alimentaires dans le compartiment réfrigérant, ceux-ci devraient déjà avoir été prérefroidis, car la réfrigération des produits alimentaires lorsque l'appareil est chargé pourrait prendre plus de temps que ce qui est bénéﬁ que pour ces produits.

♦ Pour ouvrir le couvercle de la glacière , faites glisser le loquet en posi-

tion UNLOCK et levez le verrouillage .

♦ Remplissez ensuite le compartiment réfrigérant . Les produits alimentaires

doivent être emballés, les liquides doivent être contenus dans des récipients

étanches. Le compartiment a un volume de 13 l et peut contenir par ex.

20 cannettes de boissons de 0,33 l couchées.

♦ Ensuite, fermez à nouveau le couvercle. Faites attention que le verrouillage

du couvercle du compartiment réfrigérant vienne en prise, sinon la capacité

de réfrigération diminue.

♦ Poussez le loquet en position LOCK, pour refermer le couvercle de la glacière .

REMARQUE

Gardez propre le joint d'étanchéité du compartiment réfrigérant ,

aﬁ n que la capacité de réfrigération ne diminue pas.

Utilisation de la courroie de transport

Pour simpliﬁ er le transport de l'appareil, vous pouvez y ﬁ xer la courroie de transport incluse dans la livraison.

♦ Pour ce faire, déroulez la courroie de transport et faites-la passer par les

oeillets .

♦ Puis enﬁ lez l'extrémité libre de la courroie de transport à travers la

boucle sur l'extrémité opposée de la courroie de transport de telle sorte que

cette courroie

Remplacement des fusibles

Dans la prise du véhicule se trouve un fusible. Si jamais l'appareil ne fonctionne pas, il se peut que ce fusible ait grillé. Remplacez alors ce fusible par le fusible de rechange fourni.

♦ Pour ce faire, sortez la prise du véhicule -de l'allume-cigare. ♦ Ouvrez la prise du véhicule en dévissant avec précaution le ﬁ let rapporté

♦ A présent, enlevez la pointe de la prise (B) du fusible (A), extrayez le fusible

(A) et mettez-le de côté.

Entreposage

Si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une période prolongée, déconnectez-le de l'alimentation électrique et entreposez-le dans un lieu propre et sec et à l'abri du rayonnement direct du soleil.

Mise au rebut

L'appareil ne doit jamais être jeté dans la poubelle domestique

normale. Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Mettez l'appareil au rebut en le conﬁ ant à une entreprise de traitement des

Il presente manuale di istruzioni è parte integrante del minibar per auto RABB 12 A1 (di seguito denominato l'apparecchio) e fornisce informazioni importanti per l'uso conforme, la sicurezza, la connessione e l'impiego dell'apparecchio.

Il manuale di istruzioni dev'essere sempre disponibile nelle vicinanze dell'apparecchio. Esso dev'essere letto e applicato da tutti coloro che sono incaricati dell'uso e dell'eliminazione dei guasti dell'apparecchio.

Conservare il presente manuale di istruzioni e consegnarlo insieme all'apparecchio in caso di cessione dello stesso a terzi.

Per l'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio, rispettare le seguenti avvertenze di sicurezza:

► Non collocare mai bambini o animali nel minibar per auto! La mancanza

di aria fresca ne provocherebbe il soﬀ ocamento.

► In caso di veicoli in movimento, è necessario bloccare l’apparecchio

tramite una cintura di ﬁ ssaggio. A tal ﬁ ne è necessario utilizzare la cintura di sicurezza.

AVVISO

► Non collocare alcun materiale esplosivo nell'apparecchio, come ad es.

contenitori aerosol con gas propellenti inﬁ ammabili.

► Controllare l'apparecchio prima dell'uso per rilevare eventuali danni visibili.

Non mettere in funzione l'apparecchio se è danneggiato o è caduto. Sussiste il pericolo di lesioni!

► Questo apparecchio non è indicato per l'uso da parte di persone (inclusi

bambini) con limitate capacità ﬁ siche, sensoriali o mentali o prive dell'esperienza e/o della conoscenza necessaria, a meno che tali persone non vengano sorvegliate da un responsabile per la sicurezza o abbiano

ricevuto indicazioni sull'impiego dell'apparecchio.

► Disconnettere tirando sempre dalla spina, mai dal cavo di connessione.

Estrazione dalla confezione

♦ Prelevare tutte le componenti dell'apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni

dalla confezione.

♦ Rimuovere tutto il materiale di imballaggio e tirare via la pellicola protettiva

dal pannello dei comandi.

PERICOLO

► Il materiale di imballaggio non dev’essere utilizzato come giocattolo dai

bambini. Pericolo di soﬀ ocamento!

Smaltimento della confezione

L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio dai danni da trasporto. I materiali di imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle caratteristiche di smaltimento, e pertanto sono riciclabili.

Installazione e collegamento

Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la generazione di riﬁ uti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità alle norme vigenti localmente.

Requisiti del luogo di installazione

Per un uso sicuro e privo di guasti dell'apparecchio, il luogo di installazione deve rispondere ai seguenti requisiti:

PERICOLO

► Non mettere in funzione l'apparecchio in ambiente surriscaldato, bagnato

o molto umido o nelle vicinanze di materiale inﬁ ammabile, poiché ciò

potrebbe dare luogo al rischio di incendio.

► Nel veicolo, non collocare l’apparecchio in modo che sia di intralcio per

l’autista nell’esecuzione delle manovre di guida, altrimenti si può correre il

rischio di incidenti.

► Se non è possibile assicurare l’apparecchio a mezzo della cinghia di

sicurezza, non trasportalo nell’abitacolo, bensì collocarlo nel bagagliaio.

Fissare l’apparecchio anche nel portabagagli, al ﬁ ne di impedirne lo

spostamento incontrollato, con un mezzo adeguato a seconda del tipo di

auto. A tal ﬁ ne, utilizzare una cinghia di ﬁ ssaggio adeguata o una rete che

impedisca situazioni di pericolo a carico dei passeggeri anche in caso di

incidente.

ATTENZIONE

Se l'apparecchio non viene utilizzato in un veicolo, collocarlo su un supporto

rigido, piano e orizzontale.

► Montare o installare l'apparecchio in modo da non coprire le aperture di

aerazione presenti, altrimenti l'apparecchio si surriscalda.

► Utilizzare l'apparecchio solo in veicoli a motore che dispongono di una

presa accendisigari da 12V

collocato, ad esempio, al centro del divano posteriore sempre che sia pre-

sente una cintura di sicurezza per ﬁ ssarlo. L'apparecchio può essere inoltre

utilizzato come comodo poggiabraccia.

Connessione elettrica

ATTENZIONE

Prima del collegamento dell'apparecchio, controllare i dati relativi alla

tensione di esercizio necessaria, indicati sulla targhetta, confrontandoli con

la sorgente di tensione prevista per l'esercizio dell'apparecchio. Questi dati

devono coincidere, per impedire che si veriﬁ chino danni all'apparecchio.

► Assicurarsi che il cavo di collegamento dell'apparecchio non sia

danneggiato e non venga collocato su superﬁ ci bollenti e/o acuminate,

poiché potrebbe danneggiarsi.

► Assicurarsi che il cavo di collegamento non venga teso o piegato.

Nei veicoli, assicurarsi che il cavo non venga mai schiacciato dai portelli

dell'auto, altrimenti ne verrebbe danneggiato.

Installazione e collegamento

Montaggio dell'apparecchio

♦ Trovare un luogo di installazione idoneo per l'apparecchio (v. anche capitolo

Requisiti del luogo di installazione).

♦ Nei veicoli, collocare l’apparecchio sul divano posteriore o sul sedile pas-

seggero anteriore,quindi ﬁ ssarlo a mezzo della cintura di sicurezza:

♦ Aprire il coperchio dello scomparto frigorifero e allentare la catena. ♦ Posizionare la cintura di sicurezza facendo passare la cintura diagonale

dietro il coperchio e collocando la cintura sottoaddominale davanti al co-

perchio dello scomparto frigorifero nella guida per cintura di sicurezza

Allacciare la cintura di sicurezza facendola scattare nella ﬁ bbia.

♦ Agganciare la catena e chiudere il coperchio dello scomparto frigorifero.

Prestare attenzione che la catena non rimanga impigliata tra il coperchio

dello scomparto frigorifero e il box frigo.

AVVERTENZA

Fissando il box frigo con una cintura di sicurezza sottoaddominale al cen-

►

tro del divano posteriore, non è necessario rimuovere la catena. Collocare la cintura sottoaddominale sotto la catena di modo che la cintura rimanda inserita nella guida per cintura di sicurezza e consenta di inserire la cintura sottoaddominale nella ﬁ bbia.

PERICOLO

► Se non è possibile assicurare l’apparecchio a mezzo della cinghia di

sicurezza, non trasportalo nell’abitacolo, bensì collocarlo nel bagagliaio. Fissare l’apparecchio anche nel portabagagli, al ﬁ ne di impedirne lo spostamento incontrollato, con un mezzo adeguato a seconda del tipo di auto. A tal ﬁ ne, utilizzare una cinghia di ﬁ ssaggio adeguata o una rete che impedisca situazioni di pericolo a carico dei passeggeri anche in caso di incidente.

Connessione all'alimentazione di corrente

♦ Prelevare il cavo di collegamento dallo scomparto di custodia e inserire

la spina dell'apparecchio nella presa di connessione per la tensione di

esercizio da 12 V .

♦ Inserire la spina per auto del cavo di collegamento al posto dell'accendisigari

nel relativo ingresso.

ATTENZIONE

L'accendisigari di alcuni modelli di auto è sotto tensione anche quando il veicolo è spento.

► Prima di scendere dalla vettura, disinserire l’apparecchio o scollegarlo

dall’alimentazione di corrente. In caso contrario, la batteria dell'auto potrebbe scaricarsi ﬁ no a impedire la messa in moto del veicolo!

Comandi e funzionamento

In questo capitolo sono riportate indicazioni importanti relative ai comandi e al funzionamento dell'apparecchio.

Accensione e spegnimento

♦ Per accendere l'apparecchio portare l'interruttore in posizione ON.

La spia di controllo dell'accensione si accende.

♦ Per spegnere l'apparecchio portare l'interruttore in posizione OFF.

La spia di controllo dell'accensione si spegne.

Caricamento dello scomparto refrigerante

AVVERTENZA

Prima di mettere in funzione un apparecchio nuovo, per motivi igienici,

►

pulirlo all’interno e all’esterno con un panno umido (vedi anche capitolo Pulizia/Conservazione/Smaltimento).

L'apparecchio raﬀ redda il contenuto dello scomparto refrigerante temperatura di 15 - 20°C inferiore a quella ambiente. Se si collocano gli alimenti nello scomparto refrigerante, è necessario che essi siano già stati prerefrigerati, poiché la refrigerazione degli alimenti ad apparecchio carico durerebbe più di quanto sia consigliabile per la corretta conservazione degli alimenti stessi.

♦ Per aprire il coperchio dello scomparto frigorifero , portare il chiavistello in

posizione UNLOCK e sollevare il bloccaggio .

♦ Riempire lo scomparto refrigerante . Gli alimenti devono essere confe-

zionati, i liquidi devono trovarsi in contenitori sigillati. Lo scomparto oﬀ re un

volume di 13 l e può contenere ad es. 20 lattine di bevande in orizzontale

di capacità pari a 0,33 l.

♦ Quindi richiudere il coperchio. Assicurarsi che il blocco del coperchio dello

scomparto refrigerante si inserisca, altrimenti la capacità refrigerante si riduce.

♦ Per chiudere il coperchio dello scomparto frigorifero , portare il chiavistello

in posizione LOCK.

AVVERTENZA

Mantenere pulita la guarnizione dello scomparto refrigerante , per

impedire la riduzione delle capacità di refrigerazione.

Uso …/Sostituzione dei fusibili

Uso della tracolla

Per trasportare facilmente l'apparecchio è possibile ﬁ ssarvi l'acclusa tracolla .

♦ Srotolare la tracolla e condurla attraverso gli occhielli . ♦ Inﬁ ne, inﬁ lare l'estremità libera della tracolla attraverso il cappio dell'e-

stremità opposta in modo da ﬁ ssare saldamente la tracolla e consentire il

trasporto dell'apparecchio pieno (vedi ﬁ gura).

Sostituzione dei fusibili

Nella spina per auto si trova un fusibile. Se l'apparecchio non funzionasse, il fusibile potrebbe essere guasto. In tal caso, sostituirlo con il fusibile di ricambio accluso.

♦ Staccare pertanto la spina per auto dall'accendisigari. ♦ Aprire la spina per auto svitando cautamente l'inserto a vite scanalato (C),

se necessario con una pinza, ruotando in senso antiorario.

♦ Rimuovere ora la punta della spina (B) dal fusibile (A), estrarre il fusibile (A)

e metterlo da parte.

♦ Inserire il nuovo fusibile nella spina per inserire la punta della spina (B)

sull'estremità leggermente sporgente del fusibile e riavvitare l'inserto a vite

AVVERTENZA

Se l'apparecchio continuasse a non funzionare o bruciasse subito anche

►

il nuovo fusibile, signiﬁ ca che è presente un guasto. Rivolgersi quindi alla hotline di assistenza (v. capitolo Assistenza).

Pulizia/Conservazione/Smaltimento

Indicazioni di sicurezza

PERICOLO

► Prima di pulire l’apparecchio o quando l’apparecchio non è in uso, scolle-

garlo dall’alimentazione elettrica per evitare il pericolo di scossa elettrica.

AVVISO

► Impedire la penetrazione di umidità nell’apparecchio durante la pulizia.

ATTENZIONE

Non utilizzare detergenti o detersivi abrasivi, altrimenti si rischia di danneggiare

►

le superﬁ ci in plastica.

Pulizia dell'apparecchio

♦ Pulire l’apparecchio all’interno e all’esterno con un panno umido e un po’ di

detergente per piatti.

Conservazione

Se non si utilizzasse l'apparecchio per un periodo di tempo prolungato, disconnetterlo dall'alimentazione elettrico a conservarlo in un luogo pulito e asciutto, al riparo dall'irradiazione solare diretta.

Smaltimento dell'apparecchio

Non gettare per alcun motivo l'apparecchio insieme ai normali

riﬁ uti domestici. Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva europea 2002/96/EC-RAEE (Riﬁ uti da Apparecchiature Elettriche ed Elettroniche).

Smaltire l'apparecchio attraverso un'azienda di smaltimento autorizzata o attra-

verso l'ente di smaltimento comunale. Rispettare le prescrizioni attualmente in vigore. In caso di dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento competente.

PERICOLO

Pericolo di incendio derivante dall‘isolante! L‘isolante contiene ciclopentano.

Il gas contenuto nell‘isolante (ciclopentano) è facilmente inﬁ ammabile.

► Non rimuovere l‘adesivo dal lato inferiore dell‘apparecchio. Esso fornisce

informazioni sulle sostanze pericolose contenute.

► Smaltire l‘apparecchio in modo conforme.

Inleiding

Informatie bij deze gebruiksaanwijzing

Deze gebruiksaanwijzing maakt onderdeel uit van de koelbox RABB 12 A1 (navolgend aangeduid als apparaat) en voorziet u van belangrijke aanwijzingen voor het gebruik in overeenstemming met de bestemming, de veiligheid, de aansluiting, evenals voor de bediening van het apparaat.

De gebruiksaanwijzing moet voortdurend nabij het apparaat beschikbaar zijn. Zij moet door iedere persoon gelezen en toegepast worden, die belast is met de bediening van het apparaat en het verhelpen van storingen van het apparaat.

Bewaar de gebruiksaanwijzing en geef deze met het apparaat door aan volgende eigenaren.

Deze documentatie is auteursrechtelijk beschermd. Iedere reproductie, resp. herdruk, ook gedeeltelijk, evenals de weergave van

afbeeldingen, ook in veranderde toestand is alleen toegestaan met schriftelijke toestemming van de fabrikant.

Gebruik in overeenstemming met bestemming

Dit apparaat is alleen bestemd voor de koeling van verpakte levensmiddelen in gesloten ruimtes, speciaal in motorvoertuigen. Dit apparaat is bovendien geschikt voor het gebruik op de camping. In rijdende motorvoertuigen moet het apparaat vastgemaakt worden door autogordels. Hiervoor moet de veiligheidsgordel worden gebruikt. Een ander of verdergaand gebruik geldt als niet in overeenstemming met de bestemming. Het apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik in bedrijfsmatige of industriële omgevingen.

WAARSCHUWING Gevaar door gebruik dat niet in overeenstemming is met de

bestemming!

Er kan gevaar van het apparaat uitgaan in geval van gebruik dat niet in overeenstemming is met de bestemming en/of andersoortig gebruik.

► Het apparaat uitsluitend gebruiken in overeenstemming met de bestemming. ► De beschreven procedures in deze gebruiksaanwijzing nakomen.

Alle vormen van claims wegens schade door gebruik dat niet volgens de bestemming is, onvakkundige reparaties, veranderingen die ongeoorloofd zijn uitgevoerd of gebruik van niet toegelaten reserveonderdelen zijn uitgesloten.

Het risico is uitsluitend voor de gebruiker.

Inleiding

Waarschuwingen

In de onderhavige gebruiksaanwijzing worden volgende waarschuwingen gebruikt:

GEVAAR

Een waarschuwing op dit niveau van gevaar duidt op een dreigende gevaarlijke situatie.

Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit fataal of zwaar letsel tot gevolg hebben.

► De aanwijzingen in deze waarschuwing opvolgen, om gevaar voor fataal

of zwaar letsel van personen te vermijden.

WAARSCHUWING

Een waarschuwing op dit niveau van gevaar duidt op een eventuele gevaarlijke situatie.

Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit letsel tot gevolg hebben.

► De aanwijzingen in deze waarschuwing opvolgen om persoonlijk letsel te

vermijden.

Veiligheid

In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies voor de omgang met het apparaat. Dit apparaat voldoet aan de gestelde veiligheidsvoorschriften. Een verkeerd gebruik kan echter leiden tot persoonlijk letsel en materiële schade.

Elementaire veiligheidsvoorschriften

Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht voor een veilige omgang met het apparaat:

Veiligheid

GEVAAR

► Doe nooit kinderen of dieren in het koelvak! Het gebrek aan verse lucht

zou tot verstikken leiden.

► In rijdende motorvoertuigen moet het apparaat vastgemaakt worden door

autogordels. Hiervoor moet de veiligheidsgordel worden gebruikt.

WAARSCHUWING

► Bewaar geen explosieve stoﬀ en, zoals bijv. aerosol containers met brand-

baar drijfgas in dit apparaat.

► Controleer het apparaat vóór het gebruik op uitwendige zichtbare schade.

Neem een defect apparaat of een apparaat dat gevallen is niet in gebruik. Er bestaat letselgevaar!

► Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (met inbegrip

van kinderen) met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of met gebrek aan ervaring en/of gebrek aan kennis, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan van een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon of van die persoon aanwijzingen krijgen voor het gebruik van het apparaat.

► Bij kinderen is supervisie noodzakelijk om er voor te zorgen dat ze niet met

het apparaat spelen.

► Laat reparaties aan het apparaat alleen uitvoeren door geautoriseerde

speciaalzaken of door de klantenservice. Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen resulteren in aanzienlijke gevaren voor de gebruiker. Bovendien wordt er dan geen garantie meer gegeven.

► Laat beschadigde stekkers en aansluitsnoeren meteen voor geautoriseerd

deskundig personeel of door de klantenservice vervangen om gevaar te vermijden.

Dit apparaat mag niet worden blootgesteld aan de regen. Bescherm het

apparaat tegen vochtigheid en het binnendringen van vloeistoﬀ en en voorwerpen in de behuizing. Dompel het apparaat nooit onder water en plaats geen voorwerpen die gevuld zijn met vloeistof (bijv. vazen) op het apparaat. Daardoor kan het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigd raken.

► Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van open vlammen (bijv. kaarsen).

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

WAARSCHUWING Bij de ingebruikname van het apparaat kan het komen tot

persoonlijk letsel en materiële schade!

De volgende veiligheidsinstructies in acht nemen, om de gevaren te vermijden:

► Let op de aanwijzingen over de eisen aan de plaats van opstelling alsmede

over de elektrische aansluiting van het apparaat, om persoonlijk letsel en materiële schade te vermijden.

Inhoud van het pakket en inspectie van transport

Het apparaat wordt standaard met volgende componenten geleverd:

● Koelbox RABB 12 A1

● Aansluitsnoer met autostekker

● Draagriem

● Reservezekering voor autostekker

● Gebruiksaanwijzing

OPMERKING

Controleer of de levering compleet is en of er sprake is van zichtbare schade.

► ► In geval de levering niet compleet is of indien er sprake is van schade

door gebrekkige verpakking of door transport, neemt u contact op met de Service-Hotline (zie hoofdstuk Service).

Uitpakken

♦ Haal alle delen van het apparaat en deze gebruiksaanwijzing uit de doos. ♦ Verwijder alle verpakkingsmaterialen en trek de beschermfolie van het

bedieningspaneel af.

GEVAAR

► Verpakkingsmateriaal mag niet als kinderspeelgoed worden gebruikt.

Er bestaat verstikkingsgevaar.

De verpakking afvoeren

De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu en gekozen uit afvoertechnische aspecten en daarom recyclebaar.

Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop is een besparing op grondstoﬀ en en reduceert het ontstaan van afval. Voer verpakkingsmaterialen die niet meer worden gebruikt af conform de plaatselijke geldende voorschriften.

Opstellen en aansluiten

Eisen aan de plaats van opstelling

Voor een veilig en foutloos functioneren van het apparaat moet de plaats van opstelling aan volgende voorwaarden voldoen:

GEVAAR

► Gebruik het apparaat niet in een hete, natte of zeer vochtige omgeving of

in de buurt van brandbaar materiaal, anders bestaat er brandgevaar.

► In motorvoertuigen mag u het apparaat alleen zo plaatsen, dat het de

chauﬀ eur niet kan hinderen noch aﬂ eiden, anders bestaat er gevaar voor ongelukken.

► Is een beveiliging van het apparaat door middel van een veiligheidsgordel

niet mogelijk, mag het apparaat niet in de passagiersruimte getransporteerd worden, maar moet het in de koﬀ erbak worden opgeborgen. Ook in de koﬀ erbak moet u het apparaat tegen ongecontroleerde bewegingen beschermen, passend bij het type motorvoertuig. Gebruik daarvoor geschikte spangordels of vangnetten, zodat het apparaat ook bij ongevallen geen gevaar kan vormen voor de passagiers.

LET OP

Als het apparaat niet in een motorvoertuig wordt gebruikt, plaatst u het

►

op een stevige, vlakke en horizontale ondergrond.

► Het apparaat zodanig neerzetten of monteren, dat aanwezige ventilatie-

openingen niet afgedekt worden, anders kan het apparaat oververhitten.

► U mag het apparaat alleen in motorvoertuigen gebruiken, die op de siga-

rettenaansteker 12V beschikbaar stellen. In gemotoriseerde voertuigen kunt u het apparaat bijv. in het midden van de achterbank neerzetten, indien daar een veiligheidsgordel aanwezig is om het apparaat te beveiligen. Dan dient het apparaat ook als comfortabele armsteun.

Elektrische aansluiting

LET OP

Vergelijk vóór het aansluiten van het apparaat de gegevens voor de

►

benodigde bedrijfsspanning op het kenplaatje met die van spanningsbron waarop het apparaat bedreven moet worden. Deze gegevens moeten overeenkomen, zodat het apparaat geen schade zal lijden.

► Let erop, dat het aansluitsnoer van het apparaat onbeschadigd is en

niet over hete vlakken en/of scherpe kanten wordt gelegd, anders wordt het beschadigd.

► Let erop, dat het aansluitsnoer niet strak gespannen of geknikt wordt.

In motorvoertuigen mag het snoer nooit door de deuren van het voertuig bekneld raken, anders wordt het beschadigd.

Het apparaat plaatsen

♦ Zoek een geschikte plaatsing van opstelling voor het apparaat uit (zie ook

hoofdstuk Eisen aan de plaats van opstelling).

♦ In gemotoriseerde voertuigen moet het apparaat op de achterbank of op

de stoel van de bijrijder worden geplaatst. Dan moet het apparaat beveiligd

worden met de veiligheidsgordel:

♦ Klap het deksel van het koelvak omhoog en mak de ketting los. ♦ Geleid de veiligheidsgordel zodanig, dat de diagonale gordel achter het

deksel verloopt en de heupgordel voor het deksel van het koelvak in de

geleiding ligt voor de veiligheidsgordel. Laat de veiligheidsgordel vast-

klikken in het slot.

♦ Hang de ketting er weer in en sluit het deksel van het koelvak. Daarbij erop

letten, dat de ketting niet ingeklemd raakt tussen het deksel van het koelvak

en de koelbox.

OPMERKING

Als u de koelbox met een heupgordel midden op de achterbank beveiligd,

►

moet de ketting afgenomen worden. Geleid de heupgordel gewoon onder de ketting door, zodat deze in de geleiding voor de veiligheidsgordel ligt en laat de heupgordel in het slot vastklikken.

GEVAAR

► Is een beveiliging van het apparaat door middel van een veiligheidsgordel

Opstellen en aansluiten

Stroomvoorziening maken

♦ Haal het aansluitsnoer uit het opbergvak en steek de stekker van

het snoer in de stekkeraansluiting voor de 12 V bedrijfsspanning .

♦ Steek de autostekker van het aansluitsnoer in plaats van de sigaretten-

aansteker in de stekkeraansluiting ervan.

LET OP

De sigarettenaansteker van sommige motorvoertuigfabricaten levert ook stroom als de ontsteking uitgeschakeld is.

► Zet het apparaat uit of ontkoppel het van de stroomtoevoer, als u het

voertuig verlaat. Anders zou de accu dusdanig leeg kunnen raken, dat het voertuig niet meer gestart kan worden!

Bediening en bedrijf

In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke aanwijzingen over de bediening en het bedrijf van het apparaat.

In- en uitschakelen

♦ Om het apparaat in te schakelen, zet u de aan/uit-knop in de ON-stand.

Het inschakelcontrolelampje brandt dan.

♦ Om het apparaat uit te schakelen, zet u de aan/uit-knop in de OFF-stand.

Het inschakelcontrolelampje dooft dan.

Koelvak vullen

OPMERKING

Voordat u het nieuwe apparaat gaat gebruiken, moet u het om hygiënische

►

redenen van binnen en van buiten met een vochtige doek reinigen (zie ook hoofdstuk Reiniging/Opslag/Milieurichtlijnen).

Het apparaat koelt de inhoud van het koelvak met de omgevingstemperatuur. Als u levensmiddelen in het koelvak doet, moeten deze echter vooraf gekoeld zijn, omdat het afkoelen van de levensmiddelen als het apparaat gevuld is langer zou kunnen duren, dan goed is voor de levensmiddelen.

♦ Om het deksel van het koelvak te openen, schuift u de grendel in de

stand UNLOCK en tilt u de vergrendeling op.

♦ Vul nu het koelvak . Levensmiddelen moeten verpakt zijn, vloeistoﬀ en

in afgesloten reservoirs zitten. Het vak biedt een volume van 13 l en biedt

ruimte aan bijv. 20 liggende blikjes met drank à 0,33 l.

♦ Vervolgens sluit u het deksel weer. Let erop, dat de vergrendeling van

het koelvakdeksel vastklikt, anders daalt het koelvermogen.

♦ Schuif de grendel in de stand LOCK, om het deksel van het koelvak te

sluiten.

OPMERKING

Houd de dichting van het koelvak schoon, zodat het koelvermogen

niet daalt.

Extra opbergvakken

Het apparaat biedt u 3 aanvullende deponeermogelijkheden. In de opbergvakken/ bergruimtes kunt u blikjes drank neerzetten of andere voorwerpen deponeren.

Bediening …/Zekering vervangen

Gebruik van de draagriem

Voor het vereenvoudigde transport van het apparaat kunt u de meegeleverde draagriem daaraan vastmaken.

♦ De draagriem afrollen en deze door de ogen voeren . ♦ Vervolgens rijgt u het vrije einde van de draagriem zodanig door de lus

aan het tegenovergestelde einde van de draagriem, dat de draagriem

vastzit en in voorkomende gevallen het gevulde apparaat kan dragen (zie

afbeelding).

Zekering vervangen

In de autostekker zit een zekering. Mocht het apparaat niet functioneren, zou de zekering defect kunnen zijn. Dan vervangt u deze voor de meegeleverde reservezekering .

♦ Trek daarvoor de auto-stekker uit de sigarettenaansteker. ♦ Open de auto-stekker, doordat u het geribbelde schroeﬁ nzetstuk (C) desnoods

met een tang voorzichtig tegen de wijzers van de klok in opendraait en

eruit haalt.

♦ Nu haalt u de stekkerpunt (B) van de zekering (A) af, haalt u de zekering

(A) eruit en legt u deze terzijde.

♦ Plaats nu de nieuwe zekering in de auto-stekker, zet de stekkerpunt (B)

op het licht uitstekende einde van de zekering en draai het tevoren eruit

gehaalde schroeﬁ nzetstuk (C) er weer in.

OPMERKING

Als het apparaat nog steeds niet functioneert, of de nieuwe zekering

►

meteen weer doorbrandt, is er sprake van een defect aan het apparaat. Neem dan contact op met de Service-Hotline (zie hoofdstuk Service).

Reiniging/Opslag/Milieurichtlijnen

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

GEVAAR

► Ontkoppel het apparaat van de stroomvoorziening alvorens het te reinigen

en als het niet wordt gebruikt, om het risico van een elektrische schok te voorkomen.

WAARSCHUWING

► Let erop, dat tijdens het reinigen geen vocht in het apparaat binnendringt!

LET OP

Gebruik geen schoonmaak- of oplosmiddelen. Deze kunnen de oppervlak-

►

ken van kunststof beschadigen.

Apparaat reinigen

♦ Reinig het apparaat van binnen en buiten met een licht vochtige doek en

een beetje afwasmiddel.

Opslag

Als u het apparaat langere tijd niet gebruikt, ontkoppelt u het van de stroomvoorziening en bewaart u het op een schone, droge plaats waar het zonlicht niet direct binnenstraalt.

Apparaat afdanken

Deponeer het apparaat in geen geval bij het normale huisvuil.

Dit product is onderworpen aan de Europese richtlijn 2002/96/ECWEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Voer het apparaat af via een erkend afvalverwerkingsbedrijf of via uw gemeente-

reiniging. Neem de momenteel geldende voorschriften in acht. Neem in geval van twijfel contact op met uw reinigingsdienst.

GEVAAR

Brandgevaar door isolatiemiddel! De isolatie bevat cyclopentaan.

Het gas in de isolatie (cyclopentaan) is licht ontvlambaar.

► Verwijder nooit de stickers aan de onderkant van het apparaat, die infor-

matie geven over de aanwezige gevaarlijke stoﬀ en.

► Voer het apparaat volgens de voorschriften af.

Problemen oplossen

In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke aanwijzingen over de lokalisering van storingen en het verhelpen van storingen. Let op de aanwijzingen, om gevaren en beschadigingen te voorkomen.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

WAARSCHUWING

Let op de volgende veiligheidsinstructies, om gevaren en materiële schade te voorkomen:

► Reparaties aan elektrische apparatuur mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd

door vakmensen, die door de fabrikant zijn geschoold. Door onvakkundige reparaties kunnen aanzienlijke gevaren optreden voor de gebruiker en kan er schade ontstaan aan het apparaat.

Oorzaken van storingen en deze verhelpen

De navolgende tabel helpt bij de lokalisering en het verhelpen van kleinere storingen:

Bewaar a.u.b. de kassabon als aankoopbewijs. Mocht u aanspraak willen maken op de garantie, neem dan telefonisch contact op met uw serviceadres. Alleen op die manier is een kostenloze verzending van uw product gegarandeerd.

OPMERKING

De garantie geldt uitsluitend voor materiaal- of fabricagefouten, niet voor

transportschade, aan slijtage onderhevige delen of voor beschadigingen van breekbare onderdelen, bijv. schakelaars of accu's.

Introduction

Information about these operating instructions

These operating instructions are a component of the Car Cool Box RABB 12 A1 (hereafter designated as the appliance) and they provide you with important information about the intended use, safety, connection and operation of the appliance.

These operating instructions must be constantly kept available close to the appliance. They are to be read and applied by everyone assigned to operate the appliance and to eliminate faults in it.

Retain these operating instructions and pass them on, together with the appliance, to a possible future owner.

This documentation is copyright protected. Any copying or reproduction, including as extracts, as well as the reproduction of

images, also in an altered state, is only permitted with the written authorisation of the manufacturer.

Intended Use

This appliance is intended only for the cooling of packaged food in enclosed spaces, especially in motor vehicles. In addition, this appliance is also suitable for camping. In moving motor vehicles the appliance must be secured by restraining belts. For this, the safety belt must be used. This appliance is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned here. This appliance is not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments.

Risks can can arise from the appliance if it used for unintended purposes and/ or other types of use.

Safety

In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling of the appliance. This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can, however, lead to personal and property damage.

Basic safety instructions

For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information:

DANGER

► NEVER place children or animals in the Cool Box! The lack of fresh air

would lead to suﬀ ocation.

► In moving motor vehicles the appliance must be secured by restraining belts.

For this, the safety belt must be used.

WARNING

► Do not store any potentially explosive substances in this appliance, such as

aerosol container with inﬂ ammable propellant gas.

► Before use check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not put

into operation an appliance that is damaged or has been dropped. There is also a risk of personal injury!

► This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children)

with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deﬁ ciencies in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be used.

► Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

appliance.

► Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist companies or

by the Customer Service Department. Incompetent repairs can result in signiﬁ cant risks for the user. In addition, warranty claims become void.

► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be replaced

at once by qualiﬁ ed technicians or our Customer Service Department.

Safety/Operating Elements

IMPORTANT

This appliance may not be exposed to rain. Protect the appliance against

high humidity and the penetration of liquids and objects into the housing. NEVER submerse this appliance in water and do not place objects ﬁ lled with liquids (for example, vases) on the appliance. The appliance could be irreparably damaged!

► Do not operate the appliance close to open ﬂ ames (e.g. candles).

The appliance could also be irreparably damaged!

► Avoid direct sunlight. The appliance could be irreparably damaged! ► Always disconnect the power cable from the socket by the connector plug,

do not pull on the cable itself. If you do, the cable could be damaged.

Setting up and connecting to the power supply

Safety instructions

WARNING During the commissioning of the appliance personal injury and

property damage could occur!

Observe the following safety notices to avoid these risks:

► To avoid damage to people and property, pay heed to the requirements

for the installation site and the electrical connection of the appliance.

Items supplied and initial inspection

The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

NOTICE

Check the contents to ensure everything has been provided, and for signs

of visible damage.

► If the contents are incomplete, or have been damaged due to defective

packaging or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).

Unpacking

♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and these operating instructions from the box. ♦ Remove all packaging material and pull the protective foil on the control

panel oﬀ .

DANGER

► Packaging material should not be used as a play thing by children. There is

a risk of suﬀ ocation.

Disposal of packaging

The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw materials and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed according to the regionally established regulations.

Requirements for the set up location

For the safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the following requirements must be fulﬁ lled at the installation location:

DANGER

► Do not operate the appliance in hot, wet or very humid environments or

close to combustible material, otherwise there will be a risk of a ﬁ re.

► In cars, you must locate the appliance so that it cannot hinder or distract

the driver, otherwise there is the risk of an accident.

► If securement of the appliance by means of the seat belt is not possible, the

appliance may not be transported in the passenger compartment, instead,

it must be stowed in the boot. Secure the appliance against uncontrolled

movements in the boot also, appropriate to the vehicle type. For this use

suitable straps or netting, so that also in accident situations the appliance

can present no risks to the occupants.

IMPORTANT

If the appliance is not to be used in a motor vehicle, place it on a ﬁ rm, ﬂ at

►

and level surface.

► Locate or mount the appliance such that the extant ventilation openings

cannot be covered, otherwise the appliance could overheat.

► You may use the appliance ONLY in vehicles that provide 12V to the

cigar lighter. In passenger cars, the appliance can for example be centrally

placed on the back seat, in so far as there a seat belt available to secure

the appliance. Then, the appliance also serves as a comfortable armrest.

Electrical connection

IMPORTANT

Before you connect the appliance, compare the information about the

►

required operating voltage on the typeplate with that for the operating

voltage of the intended power source. This data must match, in order to

avoid any damage to the appliance.

► Ensure that the connecting cable of the appliance is not damaged and

that it is not laid over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges, otherwise it could

be damaged.

► Ensure that the connecting cable is not over-taut or kinked. In cars, the cable

must never be crushed by the vehicle doors, otherwise it will be damaged.

Setting the appliance up

♦ Select a suitable location for the appliance (see also the chapter Require-

ments for the set up location).

♦ In passenger cars you should place the appliance on the back seat or on the

front passenger seat. The appliance must then be secured with the seat belt:

♦ Flip open the freezer compartment lid up and loosen the chain. ♦ Place the seat belt such that the diagonal belt runs behind the lid and the lap

belt lies both at the front and in the guides for the seat belt . Allow the seat

belt to engage in the snap lock.

♦ Hang the chain back on and close the freezer compartment lid. Thereby

ensure that the chain is not trapped between the freezer compartment lid

and the coolbox.

NOTICE

If you secure the cooler with a seat belt in the middle of the back seat, it is

►

not necessary to remove the chain. Simply run the belt just under the chain, such that it is ﬁ tted into the guides for the seat belt seat belt to engage in the snap lock.

DANGER

► If securement of the appliance by means of the seat belt is not possible, the

appliance may not be transported in the passenger compartment, instead, it must be stowed in the boot. Secure the appliance against uncontrolled movements in the boot also, appropriate to the vehicle type. For this use suitable straps or netting, so that also in accident situations the appliance can present no risks to the occupants.

Providing electrical power

♦ Remove the connecting cable from the storage compartment and

insert the connector plug on the cable into the connector socket for the

12 V operating voltage .

♦ Insert the car plug of the connecting cable instead of the cigar lighter into

its socket.

IMPORTANT

The cigar lighters of some car manufacturers supply electricity even when the ignition is switched oﬀ .

► Therefore, switch the appliance oﬀ or disconnect it from the power supply

when you leave the vehicle. Otherwise, the car's battery could be drained to the extent that the vehicle cannot be started!

Handling and operation

In this chapter you will receive important information for the handling and operation of the appliance.

Switching On and Oﬀ

♦ To switch the appliance on, move the On/Oﬀ switch to the ON position.

The Status control lamp then glows.

♦ To switch the appliance oﬀ , move the On/Oﬀ switch to the OFF position.

The Status control lamp then extinguishes.

Loading the cool box

NOTICE

For hygienic reasons, before you take the new appliance into use you

►

should clean it, inside and outside, with a damp cloth (see also the chapter Cleaning/Storage/Disposal).

The appliance cools the contents of the cooler compartment 15 - 20°C compared to the ambient temperature. When you place food in the cooler compartment it should already be pre-cooled, as the cooling of the foods in a loaded appliance could take longer than is good for the food.

♦ To open the lid of the refrigerated compartment , slide the latch to the

position UNLOCK and then lift the locking bolt .

♦ Now ﬁ ll the cooler compartment . Foodstuﬀ s must be packed, liquids must

be in sealed containers. The compartment oﬀ ers a volume of 13 l and holds,

for example, 20 lying drink cans á 0,33 l.

♦ Then reclose the lid. Ensure that the lock for the cooler compartment

cover engages, otherwise the cooling performance will diminish.

♦ Slide the latch to the LOCK position to close the lid of the refrigerated

compartment .

NOTICE

Keep the seal of the cooler compartment clean, so that the cooling

►

performance will not fall.

Additional storage compartments

The appliance oﬀ ers you 3 additional storage spaces. You can place drink cans in the holder/shelf compartments , or put other items in them.

Handling .../Fuse exchange

Using the carrying strap

For simpliﬁ ed transportation of the appliance you can attach the supplied carrying strap to it..

♦ For this, unwind the carrying strap and pass it through the eyelets . ♦ Then, thread the free end of the carrying strap through the loop on the

opposite end of the carrying strap, such that the carrying strap is secure

and can support the possibly loaded appliance (see illustration).

Fuse exchange

The car plug contains a fuse. If the appliance does not function, it could be that the fuse is defect. In such a case, replace it with the supplied spare fuse .

♦ Remove the car plug from the cigar lighter. ♦ Open the car plug by turning the ﬂ uted screw insert (C) gently anticlockwise,

if need be with pliers, and remove it.

♦ Now, take the plug tip (B) from the fuse (A), remove the fuse (A) and place

it to one side.

♦ Now place the new fuse into the car plug, place the plug tip (B) onto the

slightly protruding end of the fuse and turn the previously removed screw

insert (C) back on.

NOTICE

If the appliance still does not function, or the fuse blows again straight

►

afterwards, there is a defect. Then make contact with the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).

Cleaning/Storage/Disposal

DANGER

► To avoid the risk of electric shock, disconnect the appliance from the power

supply before cleaning it and when it is not in use.

WARNING

► Ensure that moisture cannot permeate into the appliance during cleaning.

Do not use aggressive cleaners or scouring agents, they may damage the

housing surface ﬁ nish.

Cleaning the device

♦ Clean the housing of the appliance with a lightly moistened cloth and a

mild detergent.

Storage

If you decide not to use the appliance for an extended period, disconnect it from the power supply and store it in a clean and dry location away from direct sunlight.

Disposing of the appliance

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of the European Directive 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your com-

munity waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

DANGER

Fire risk due to insulation material! The insulation contains cyclopentane.

The gas contained in the insulation material (cyclopentane) is highly ﬂ ammable.

► Do NOT remove the sticker on the underside of the appliance, which

provides information about the hazardous materials.

► Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally responsible manner.

Troubleshooting

Malfunction causes and remedies

The following table will help with localising and remedying minor malfunctions:

The battery voltage of the vehicle is too low.
