used as described, will give you years of dependable service in your car,
truck, RV, or mini-van. We have taken numerous measures in quality control
to ensure that your product arrives in top condition and will perform to your

Car Kit contains a damaged or missing item, does not perform as specified, requires warranty service, or you have an installation problem, DO NOT

Operation
The VRBT100P is specially designed for Bluetooth® wireless compatible phones. You
can use the VRBT100P with any compatible Bluetooth® phone that supports the handsfree Bluetooth® prole. Refer to your phone’s user guide for more information on Bluetooth® wireless technology.
INSTALLING THE VRBT100P
Insert the VRBT100P into the 12V cigarette lighter/power socket of your vehicle, the
RED LED of the Volume Down Button will light to indicate the VRBT100P has power.
Make sure that the VRBT100P is fully inserted, and does not interfere with the normal
operation of the vehicle, or any of its features and functions.
TURNING THE VRBT100P ON
To turn ON the VRBT100P press and hold the MultiFunction Button for 3 seconds. The BLUE LED of
the Multi-Function Button will rst ash 3 times, then
twice every 3 seconds while it searches for a paired
cell phone, and then once every 3 seconds thereafter.
If a paired cell phone is found, you will hear a series of
short beeps and the Multi-Function Button will ash 3
times every 3 seconds, indicating a connection to the
paired cell phone.
TURNING THE VRBT100P OFF
While in Standby mode, remove it from the 12V cigarette lighter/power socket, or press and hold the
Multi-Function Button for 3 seconds, the RED Volume + Button will ash 3 times, then the unit is OFF.
• In some vehicles, the cigarette lighter/power socket
is still powered by the vehicle’s battery when the vehicle is turned off.
In those cases, the vehicle’s battery will be discharged by the VRBT100P if it is connected to the
12V cigarette lighter/power socket. Contact the vehicle’s manufacturer for more information.
PAIRING THE VRBT100P WITH A PHONE
1.
Make sure that the Bluetooth® compatible phone is ON, and is within 18 ft. of the VRBT100P
2. Press and Hold the Multi-Function Button for 10 seconds, the BLUE and RED LEDs
will ash alternately. The VRBT100P is now in PAIRING mode.
3. Use the Bluetooth® Menu of the cell phone to search for a Bluetooth® device.
3. When the cell phone nds “VRBT100P”, choose “VRBT100P”.
4. Enter PIN Code “8888” and conrm to initiate the PAIRING.
5. After successful PAIRING, the blue LED will ash; PAIRING ends. If the PAIRING fails,
VRBT100P will go to Standby mode in 60 seconds.
6. To achieve the very best sound quality, after connecting wirelessly(pairing) the Bluetooth hands-free speaker with your cell phone, adjust the volume, if required, by pressing the up and down keys to the desired sound level.

RECEIVING A PHONE CALL
When there is an incoming call:
• Press the Multi-Function Button once to answer the phone call.
•• If VRBT100P is not paired to a cell phone, it will not pick up the call.
REFUSE AN INCOMING CALL
When there is an incoming call you want to refuse, press and hold the
for 3 seconds, the incoming phone call will be refused.
TO END A PHONE CALL
During a phone call, press and hold the
current phone call. You will hear a series of beeps when the call ends.

VOICE DIALING*
The cell phone paired with the VRBT100P must have built-in voice recognition functionality. The VRBT100P is compatible with as many voice tags as the cell phone supports.
1. Press the Multi-Function Button once and you will enter the Voice Dialing Mode.
2. Repeat a name you have stored in the cell phone’s phone book, then the cell phone
will call the number associated with the name in your phone book.
REDIAL*
While in Standby mode, press and hold VOL- Button for 3 seconds.
*Note: Please refer to the product user manual from the manufacturer of your cell phone
for Voice Dialing & Re-dial functionality and settings.
VOLUME CONTROL
During the conversation press the VOL+ Button to increase the volume or VOL- button to decrease the volume. To achieve the very best sound quality, after connecting
wirelessly(pairing) the Bluetooth hands-free speaker with your cell phone, adjust the
volume, if required, by pressing the up and down keys to the desired sound level.
CALL TRANSFER
1. During a phone call, press and hold the VOL+ for 3 seconds and the phone call will
be transferred from the VRBT100P to the cell phone.

AUTO RE-CONNECT
When VRBT100P is ON, but not connected with any paired device within the applicable
a previously paired cell phone.
EARPHONE
The VRBT100P comes with an earphone that can be used for privacy or high ambient
noise situations. To use the earphone insert the 3.5mm audio plug of the earphone into
the 3.5mm jack on the side of the VRBT100P.

PRODUCT MAINTENANCE
1. Store in a cool, dry place; use clean soft cloth to clean.
2. Do not expose to high or extremely low temperatures, or to dust.
3. Do not open VRBT100P. Non-professional maintenance may causes damage, and
will result in the warranty being void.
4. Please use only VR3 approved accessories, the warranty is voided if any other accessories are used.

Changing the Fuse
1. Twist off the end of the adaptor.
2. Remove the fuse and inspect it.
3. If the fuse is good re-install it.
4. If the fuse is bad, replace it with a new 0.5 Amp fuse.
