The oil supply cleaning brush cannot hold a large amount of paper dust. Black dots
may appear on the copy paper. For paper that generates a lot of dust, remove the oil
supply cleaning brush. In this case, a small amount of paper dust is attracted to the oil
supply roller. However, paper dust does not accumulate on the oil supply roller. An
insignificant amount of paper dust returns to the paper every copy cycle.

The following describes the countermeasure regarding the abnormal sound that occurred
from turning the toner bottle too far to the right at the time of bottle setting.
To prevent this from occurring, the gear has been changed so that it will only rotate in one
direction (i.e. idle, even if the bottle is rotated to the right). In addition, the toner bottle
motor (P/N A2293245) has been changed back to the previous motor (P/N A2293240).
Note:
The interchangeability of each individual part is X/X, but as a set X/O. Please
replace these parts together if this noise problem should occur in the future.
In addition, the changing of part number A2293240 to A2293245 was announced in MB1
(Parts Catalog Correction - Dec.1998). However, it was discovered that P/N A2293245
was actually not used in production machines. P/N A2293240 was the motor that was
actually used in the machines from the first production.
