Developer leakage at the front of the development unit.
Cause
When a large amount of copies are made, the temperature in the paddle bushing area
increases and this heat causes deformation of the V-ring designed to act as a developer
shield. This results in developer leakage at the front of the development unit.
Countermeasure
To increase the tolerance to heat, the material of the Flange - Side Plate has been
changed from plastic to aluminum to prevent V-ring damage.
