IMPORTANT

When using electrical products,basic precautions should always be
followed including:
1- Read Instructions - All the safety and operating instructions should be
read before the product is operated.
2- Heed instructions-All warming on the product and in the operating
instructions should be adhered to.
3- Follow instructions-All operating and use instructions should be
followed.
4- Cleaning-Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning.
Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.Use a damp cloth for
cleaning.
5- Attachments-Do not use attachments not recommended by the
product manufacturer as they may cause hazards.
6- Water and Moisture -Do not use this product near water-for
example,near a bath,tub,wash bowl,kitchen sink,or laundry tub,in a wet
basement,or near a swimming pool,and the like.
7-Accessories-Do not place this product on an unstable
cart ,stand,tripod,bracket,or table.The product may fall,causing serious
injury to a child or adult and serious damage to the product.Use only with
a cart,stand,tripod,bracket,or table recommended by the manufacturer,or
sold with the product.Any mounting of the product should follow the
manufacturer's instructions,and should use a mounting accessory
recommended by the manufacturer.
8- A product and cart combination should be moved with care.Quick
stops, excessive force.and uneven surfaces may cause the product
and cart combination to overturn.
9- Ventilation-Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for

ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect
it from overheating, and these openings must not be blocked or
covered.The openings should never be blocked by placing the product
on a bed, sofa rug, or similar surface. This product should not be
placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase of rack unless proper
ventilation is provided or the manufacturer's instructions have been
adhered to.
10-Power Sources- This product should be operated only from the type
of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of
the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or
local power company. For products intended to operate from battery
power, or other sources, refer to the operating instructions.
11-Power-cord Protection-Power -supply cords should be routed so that
they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or
against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the product.
12-Lightning -For added protection for this product during a lightning
storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time,
unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system,
This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power -line
surges.
13-Overloading-Do not overload wall outlets,extension cords, or integral
convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric
shock.
14-Object and Liquid Entry-Never push objects of any kind into this
product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points
or short - out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock.Never spill
liquid of any kind on the product.
15-Servicing- Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening
or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other

hazards.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
16- Replacement Parts-When replacement parts are required, be sure
the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the
manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original
part.Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other
hazards.
17- Safety Check-Upon completion of any service or repairs to this
product,ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine
that the product is in proper operating condition.
18- Heat-The product should be situated away from heat sources such
as radiators,heat registers,stoves or other products (including amplifiers)
that produce heat.

No user serviceable parts inside.Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel.

Before Use

● Choose unit installation location carefully.Avoid placing it in direct
sunlight or close to a source of heat.Also avIod Iocations subject to
vibrations and excessive dust,cold or moisture,Keep away from sources
that hum,such as transformers or motors.

● Do not open the cabinet as this might result in damage to the circuitry
or electrical shock.If a foreign object should get into the set,contact your
dealer.

● When removing power plug from the wall outlet always pull directly on
the plug,never yank the cord.

● Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might

damage the finish.Use a clean,dry cloth.

● Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

RADIO OPERATION

1) Plug the Power Cord(8) into a standard 230V~50HZ outlet.

2) Fully extend the FM Antenna(7) for best reception of FM broadcasting.

3) Rotate the Volume Knob(1) clockwise until it clicks turning the unit on.

4) Select either AM or FM on the AM/FM/Knob by turning it to the right for
FM or to the left for AM.

5) Rotate the Frequency Tuning Knob(6) while watching the frequency
display to tune to your favourite station.

6) When listening to the AM bandwidth rotate the unit horizontally for

best reception.
TO turn the radio off
Set the VOLUME(1) to Off.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
The unit does not operate
The Power Cord (8)is not properly connected to a power outlet.
The unit is not turned on:Rotate the VOLUME Knob(1) from the OFF
position past the click to turn on the unit.

Cannot listen to any station.
The FM station you selected will not come in clearly

Move the antenna until reception improves.
Make a minor adjustment to the Frequency Tuning Knob(6)

Belangrijk

Bij het gebruik van elektrische producten dienen
basisvoorzorgsmaatregelen in acht te worden genomen, waaronder:
1- Leesinstructies - Lees eerst alle veiligheids- en bedieningsinstructies
voordat het product wordt bediend.
2- Volg de instructies - Alle waarschuwingen op het product en in de
bedieningsinstructies moeten in acht worden genomen.
3- Volg instructies op - Alle bedienings- en gebruiksinstructies moeten
worden opgevolgd.
4- Reiniging - Haal het snoer van dit product uit het stopcontact voordat
u het schoonmaakt.
Gebruik geen vloeibare reinigingsmiddelen of spuitbussen. Gebruik een
vochtige doek voor het schoonmaken.
5- Hulpstukken - Gebruik geen hulpstukken die niet worden aanbevolen
door de fabrikant van het product, aangezien dit gevaar kan opleveren.
6- Water en vocht - Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van water,
bijvoorbeeld in de nabijheid van een bad, tobbe, wastafel, gootsteen,
wasteil, in een vochtige kelder of nabij een zwembad en dergelijke.
7- Accessoires - Plaats dit product niet op een wankel karretje, rek,
driepoot, steun, of tafel. Het product zou kunnen vallen, met ernstig
letsel voor kinderen of volwassen en aanzienlijke schade aan het
product als gevolg. Gebruik enkel een karretje, rek, driepoot, steun, of
tafel die wordt aanbevolen door de fabrikant, of verkocht wordt samen
met het product. Bij eventuele montage van het product dienen de
instructies van de fabrikant gevolgd te worden, waarbij gebruik dient te
worden gemaakt van een bevestigingsaccessoire dat wordt aanbevolen
door de fabrikant.
8- Als het product op een wagentje staat, moet het voorzichtig worden

verplaatst. Plotseling stoppen, te veel kracht en ongelijkmatige
oppervlakken kunnen ervoor zorgen dat de combinatie van het product
met een wagentje omslaat.
9- Ventilatie - De behuizing is voorzien van sleuven en openingen voor
ventilatie, om ervoor te zorgen dat het product betrouwbaar blijft werken,
en om het product te beschermen tegen oververhitting. Deze openingen
mogen niet worden geblokkeerd of bedekt. De openingen mogen nooit
worden afgesloten door het product op een bed, bank, tapijt of
vergelijkbaar oppervlak te plaatsen. Dit product mag niet worden
ingebouwd in bijvoorbeeld een boekenkast of rek, tenzij er voor
afdoende ventilatie is gezorgd of de instructies van de fabrikant zijn
nageleefd.
10- Stroombron - Dit product mag enkel worden aangesloten op het
soort energiebron dat wordt aangegeven op het typeplaatje. Als u niet
zeker weet wat voor soort stroomvoorziening uw huis heeft, raadpleeg
dan de dealer van uw product, of uw plaatselijke energiemaatschappij.
Voor producten die bedoeld zijn om te werken op stroom van batterijen,
of andere bronnen, zie de bedieningsinstructies.
11- Stroomsnoerbescherming - Leid netsnoeren op zodanige wijze dat er
niet overheen kan worden gelopen, en ze niet kunnen worden afgeklemd
door items die erop of ertegen zijn geplaatst. Hierbij moet vooral worden
gelet op snoeren, stekkerdozen en het punt waar deze het product
verlaten.
12- Bliksem - Om dit product extra te beschermen tijdens een
onweersbui, of wanneer het apparaat onbewaakt achterblijft en voor
langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt, dient u de stekker uit het stopcontact te
trekken en de antenne of de kabel los te koppelen. Zo wordt schade aan
het product door blikseminslag en piekspanningen in het stroomnet
voorkomen.
13- Overbelasting - Overbelast stopcontacten, verlengsnoeren of

stekkerdozen niet. Dit kan het risico op brand of elektrische schokken
vergroten.
14- Binnendringende voorwerpen en vloeistoffen - Duw nooit
voorwerpen in dit product via de openingen, aangezien deze in
aanraking kunnen komen met gevaarlijke spanningspunten of
onderdelen kunnen kortsluiten, wat zou kunnen leiden tot brand of
elektrische schokken. Mors nooit een vloeistof op het product.
15- Onderhoud - Probeer niet zelf dit product te onderhouden,
aangezien u door het openen of verwijderen van de behuizing
blootgesteld kunt worden aan onveilige spanning of andere gevaren.
Laat al het onderhoud verrichten door gekwalificeerd
onderhoudspersoneel.
16 - Vervangende onderdelen - Indien reserveonderdelen nodig zijn,
zorg ervoor dat de onderhoudstechnicus vervangende onderdelen heeft
gebruikt die door de fabrikant zijn gespecificeerd of die dezelfde
karakteristieken hebben als het originele onderdeel. Onderdelen
vervangen op een manier die niet is toegestaan kan leiden tot brand,
elektrische schokken, of andere gevaren.
17- Veiligheidscontrole - Wanneer onderhoud of reparatie van het
product is uitgevoerd, vraag dan de onderhoudstechnicus om
veiligheidscontroles uit te voeren om vast te stellen of het product juist
functioneert.
18- Warmte - Plaats het product niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen,
zoals radiators, verwarmingsroosters, fornuizen of andere producten
(inclusief versterkers) die warmte produceren.

GEVAAR: RISICO OP ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK. NIET OPENEN!!
Om het gevaar van een elektrische schok te verminderen: verwijder
nooit de behuizing (of achterkant).
Er bevinden zich aan de binnenkant geen onderdelen die door de

gebruiker kunnen worden onderhouden. Laat onderhoud over aan
gekwalificeerd onderhoudspersoneel.

Voor gebruik

● Kies zorgvuldig een locatie om het toestel te installeren. Vermijd een
plek waar het toestel wordt blootgesteld aan direct zonlicht of dichtbij
een warmtebron. Vermijd ook locaties die worden blootgesteld aan
trillingen en overmatig veel stof, kou, of vocht. Houd het toestel uit de
buurt van bronnen die een gebrom produceren, zoals transformators of
motoren.

● Open de behuizing niet, aangezien dit kan leiden tot schade aan de
schakelingen, of tot elektrische schokken. Als een vreemd voorwerp in
het apparaat terechtkomt, neem dan contact op met uw dealer.

● Als u het stroomsnoer uit het stopcontact trekt, trek dan direct aan de
stekker en nooit aan het snoer.

● Probeer nooit het toestel te reinigen met chemische oplosmiddelen,
want dit kan de lak beschadigen. Gebruik een schone, droge doek.

● Bewaar deze handleiding op een veilige plek om later dingen op te
kunnen zoeken.

BEDIENING VAN DE RADIO

1) Steek het stroomsnoer (8) in een standaard 230 V~50 Hz stopcontact.

2) Maak de FM-antenne (7) zo lang mogelijk voor de best mogelijke
ontvangst van uitzendingen in FM.

3) Draai de volumeknop (1) met de klok mee totdat u een klik hoort en
het toestel wordt ingeschakeld.

4) Kies AM of FM met de AM/FM-knop, door naar rechts te draaien voor
FM of naar links voor AM.

5) Draai aan de afstemknop (6) terwijl u naar de frequentieweergave kijkt
om af te stemmen op uw favoriete radiozender.

6) Draai, voor de best mogelijke ontvangst, het toestel horizontaal
wanneer u naar een zender luistert in de AM-bandbreedte.
