Design
The Re:source M37 audio ser ver is the professional fusion of functional aesthetics, high-quality materials, perfect production techniques and reliable technology. With its housing crafted from aluminium, the timeless elegance and longevity of the Re:source M37 audio server are guaranteed.
Its functionality and its design make it the perfect ex tension to the Re:system M51 source management system.
The Re:source M37 audio ser ver was conceived as an audio server with unmatched flexibility and versatilit y. Recordings can be made through the integrated CD drive or from an external analogue or digital source. The quality of the recording can be individually defined and ranges from full audio quality for a perfect sound experience, to three different MP3 compression levels, to give maximum capacity. Depending on the quality of recording selec ted, up to 2,700 hours of music can be stored and managed.
When you are recording from the integrated CD drive, the Re: source M37 audio server connects automatically over its 56k modem or Ethernet inter face to the Gracenote database in the Internet and searches for all the information about the CD. This interface give you a simple and logical way to manage your music archives.
Using its integrated Ethernet interface, the Re: source M37 audio server can be controlled from external devices such as a PC, PDA/Palmtop or LAN/WLAN system and it can also receive MP3 or WAV files. The USB inter face is used to synchronise the track information and play list s between the Re:source M37 and a PDA/Palmtop.
