Re:connect M2 01
External Revox IR receivers can be connected using this inter face. This is particularly relevant if t he IR signal can‘t reach the system directly, as wit h larger rooms for example, or if the M51 has been built into a piece of furniture.
The Re :connec t M20 4 ir or the wall-mounte d Re: control M218 are used as IR receivers. Up to 5 recei vers c an be connec ted to the M2 01, which guarantees p erfect operation even in very large or L-shaped rooms or on stair wells.
Thank s to its compact size, the Re :connect M201 c an be integrated just about anywhere. As with all other interfaces, the Re:connect M201 is a component of the Re:system M51 source management and is controlled by it.
Re:connect M2 02
The Re :sy stem M51 sour ce management can be integrated into an IT network with the Re:connect M20 2. It is given it s own IP addres s through the Confi guration menu and is this an identifi able element in the ne twork.
Control, including control of the Revox Multiroom sys tem can now be carried out through the Re:connect M2 02. T his allows PCs or Palmtops to access and control the Revox sys tem, through a W LAN as well of course.
A constituent par t of the Re:conne ct M2 02 is the Re: control M2 30 soft ware for Windows 20 00/X P or the Re:contr ol M231 for Windows CE for Palmtops. Both softwares show the Re :system M51 display 1:1, guaranteeing y ou uniform operation. Using the Re:control software, the Revox Multiroom system can also access all additional rooms from one central location. A ll the rooms are shown with t heir defi ned names in a selection menu.
Other house management systems tha t have t heir ow n IP address can also control the Revox sys tem through the M51 Link protocol.
Re:connect M2 04 ir
Revox offers a wide choice of different IR receivers; fl ange-mounting for integration into furniture, in a small aluminium housing for positioning on a shelf, for example, in kit form for assembly into light switch housings or for building into Revox build-in speakers. The Re:connect M20 4 ir can be used everywhere, where a dis crete and unobtrusive inst allation is called for.
If required, Revox can deliver the Re :sound I inwall speaker with a Re: connect M204 IR receiver alread y integrated. Commands are sent to the Re:system M51 using the Re: control M207 or another Revox remote control unit. This type of IR receiver is particularly useful in external applications as it is completely hidden behind t he met al grille.
The Re :connec t M20 4 ir is always used if the Re:s ystem M51 source management is installed concealed and the integrated IR re ceiver cannot be reached or if control from an additional room in the Revox Multiroom system should only be done using a remote cont rol.

Re:connect M2 00
This int erf ace fulfi ls a whole range of tasks. It c an, for example, control most of the Revox video produc ts. The Re:connect M200 is connected to Re :system M51 sour ce management and a Re: ception plasma 42 is then connected, for example. In this way, each input made at the Re: system M51 is p assed on to the Re: ception plasma
42. Both audio and video signals are correctly transmit ted with a single pres s on a button at the Re: system M51.
In addition to this, external house management systems can b e used to cont rol the comple te Revox sys tem through the Re:connect M200. Parallel to this, the interface gives a return message to the house management system in order to show the Re:system M51 output on a display. Thus, the Revox World c an be mirrored on practically ever y primary control system, whether that is an IT system, an EIB bus or some other control system.
The Re :connec t M20 0 can also carr y out secondary control duties such as dimming the lights or lowering the blind when a DVD is being played or muting the M51 when the telephone rings.

Re:connect M219
Ever y additional room in the Revox Multiroom sys tem needs a Re :connect M219 Additional room ampli fier. This is conne cted to the Multiro om net work with CAT7 cable and then w hen requested, the Re:system M51 sourc e management makes t he audio signal available to the corresponding room.
The Re :connec t M219 has t wo powerf ul outputs with 2 x 100 wat t power in Class D technology. These outputs developed by Revox produce audio data equivalent to that produc ed by analogue outputs, enabling you to provide sound for larger rooms without any problems.
The Re :control M217 or M218 jung, feller or gira control units are als o connected to the Re:connect M219. They give you an intuiti ve and uniform operation w hilst at the same time giving feedback about the active sources. The tuner station name, the number of the track currently being played from a CD or, when you are using a Re:source M37 or M57 audio ser ver, even the name of the ar tist and the track can all be called up.
Up to three local sources can be connected in each room using the Re :connect M219, which are then only available in the corresponding room. T his enables you to connect a television or a PC in your home of fice, for example.

Re:connect M300 /301
Up to seven video sources can be controlled with the Re :connect M300/301 video switch. One is reserved exclusively for Re:source dv d Re: system M51 module, which als o cont rols the video swit ch.
Other third-par ty devices such as a S AT receiver, Video recorder, DVD rec eiver or Plays tation can be connecte d to the other inputs. The Re:syst em M51 controller permanently feeds the audio signal to the DVD module and thus to the amplifier through as well as providing the video signal on the vide o track output for different picture screen devices.
The Re :connec t M300/ 301 has different input s. Inputs 1 and 2 have integrated outputs and a video source with a YUV component outpu t can also be connect ed through inputs 5 and 6.
The feed signal is permanently available at t he Re:connect M30 0/301 output for further transmission. In addition to this, the output area has an audio input, in order to be able to feed t he audio signal from a T V tuner into the video switch.
Operation of a large home cinema is made very much easier by this interface. All signals are switched with the press of a but ton at the Re:system M51, such that you don‘t have bother about switching the inputs between the amplifier and the amplifier.
Revox offers tw o version of the Re: connect M3 00/301. The M3 00 has a SCART input while the M 301 has various phono inputs.
