Apache Charging Procedure
Note: Before recharging the Apache’s LiPo battery after fl ying, always wait 10-15 minutes for it to cool down.
1. Turn off both the Apache and the controller.
2. Pull out the charge cord from the left side of the controller.
(Pic 1).
3. Carefully plug the charging cord into Apache (Pic 2). DO NOT FORCE. When inserted properly, the charging cord should fi t easily in the charging port. Incorrect insertion of the charging cord will damage the Apache and may create a hazard.
4. Turn the switch to the ON position on the controller. (Pic 3).
5. The controller’s LED will illuminate green while
simultaneously fl ashing red. (Pic 3).
6. When the LED shines steadily red without fl ashing, charging is complete.
7. Disconnect the charging cord from the Apache.
The Apache can fl y for about 5-6 minutes after 25-30 minutes of charging.

2. HOW TO CONTROL FLIGHT:
Flying Y our Apache (continued)
Up and Down Hovering:
From steady fl ight, slowly pushing the throttle stick upward will make the Apache fl y higher. To make it fl y lower, simply lower the stick a little. Smooth fl ying takes only small changes in the stick position.
Left and Right Turns:
Hold the Apache steady in the air. Push the direction stick left to turn left, and push the direction stick right to turn right.
Moving Forward and Backward:
Hold the Apache steady in the air. Push the direction stick forward to move forward, and push the direction backward right to move backward.
3. HOW TO LIFT-OFF (after Trimming):
• Place the Apache on a smooth surface. An uneven fl oor surface will affect its take-off.
• Slowly increase the throttle.
• DO NOT look at the controller while fl ying. Focus on the Apache.
• As soon as the Apache leaves the ground, reduce the throttle slightly. Adjust the throttle as
necessary to maintain altitude.
• Gently add throttle if the Apache descends.
• Gently reduce throttle if the Apache climbs.
• For turning, give short and small inputs to the direction stick. (Most beginners will initially over-
control the Apache.)
Safety Tips
• Read through the entire instruction manual before fl ying your Apache.
• This product should be fl own only indoors.
• Make sure that you and other people stay 3 to 6 feet (or 1 to 2 meters) away from the Apache while
you begin fl ight.
• Always keep your eye on the fl ying toy to prevent it from fl ying, landing, or crashing on or near your
head or body, or on other people.
• Never disassemble or attempt to modify the Apache. You could damage the product and create the
potential for damage or injury.
• Never put your hands or face close to rotating parts. Doing so risks injury. Never operate the Apache
while sitting on the fl oor or on a chair — always fl y from a position that lets you get out of the way quickly if necessary.
• Always switch off both the Apache and the controller when you leave the controller unattended. If the
power switch is left on, unintended stick operation might occur (for example, if the controller falls face-forward onto the fl oor).
• Due to the dangers of the rotating parts no one under the age of eight should be allowed to operate
the Apache.
• Never use parts that are damaged.
Trouble Shooting
Problem: Blades can’t turn. Cause: • ON/OFF switch is OFF.
• Weak battery.
Solution: • Set switch to ON.
• Recharge the battery.
© Copyright 2009 • RMXE3025/26INSTR
Problem: Apache suddenly stops fl ying and drops. Cause: Too little power. Solution: Recharge the battery.
Choose a location that meets the following criteria:
1. Indoors, with little air movement. Avoid circulating air from heating and air conditioning.
2. Room sizes should be at least 10 feet (3 m) wide x 10 feet (3 m) long x 8 feet (2.4 m) high.
3. Avoid fl ying in areas with electric fans, air conditioning, reading lamps or other objects that
