Introduction

This PCI-Express 2.0 Usb 3.0 Host Controller Card c omplies with the Universal
Serial Bus 3.0 Specification Revision 1.0 and PCI Exp ress Generation 2
Specifica tion. The Super Speed USB 3.0 standard oper ates at 5Gbps full-duplex
mode and is 10 times faster than the USB 2.0 High-speed standard (480 Mbps). I t
is also backwards compatible with current USB 2.0 d evices running at High­speed(480 Mb ps) , Fu ll-speed(12 Mbps), and Low-speed(1.5 Mbps) modes. This
product is an ideal choice for a desktop computer that needs larger volume and
higher speed data transfer connectivity with USB devices, such as external Hard
Disk Drives, Solid State Drives, optical drives, and more.
