Congratulations! Your Universal Remote Control (URC) is a state-of-the-art
device which integrates many different infra-red remote controls to deliver
instant A/V action to your fingertips.

Before operating the remote, please read thoroughly (1) the interior of the
coversheet and (2) this manual. Then reserve them for future reference.

1 HOW TO INSTALL BATTERIES

Alkaline batteries are recommended. The number of battery required stated
at the back of the coversheet.

1. Remove the battery cover on the back of your URC.

2. Observe the polarity of the batteries and the “+/–” marks inside the battery
compartment.

3. Insert the batteries.

4. Push the battery cover back in place.

Battery Low

If the indicator flashes twice slowly after your invoking of any command, it
shows that the battery level is low. You must replace them with new batteries
to ensure proper functioning.

2 HOW TO SET UP THE URC

By entering Device Code

You may setup the URC by the following code entering instructions.

1. Refer to the DEVICE CODE LIST, look up the 4-digit Device Code which
corresponds to the brands of your A/V equipment. If there are more than
one Device Code listed under your brand, try from the first code.

2. Press a desired Device Mode Key (e.g. ).

3. Hold down “ P+ ” and “ VOL– ”on the URC together simultaneously for 2
seconds until the indicator lights up.

4. Use the number keys to enter your 4-digit Device Code, the indi­cator should go out immediately.

Turn on your device (e.g. TV), try the function keys on the URC. If your device
(e.g. TV) responds to your invoked function correctly, you have entered the
right Device Code. Otherwise, repeat the above setup instructions with the
rest available Device Codes until your device (e.g. TV) responds to your in­voked function, and most keys work correctly.

* Simply repeat the above procedures to enter the Device Codes for your

SAT, DVD or CTV. (Remember to press a correct Device Mode Key in step
2 above)

Note :

– DVD, CTV and SAT can be entered into any device modes except “TV”

mode. Just simply press the device mode key and enter your 4-digit
device code for DVD, CTV and SAT.
If the indicator flashes twice in step 4, a wrong Device Code has been
entered. You are required to repeat step 2 to 4 again.

Suggestion :

– If you cannot find a correct Device Code for your equipment, see 2 HOW

TO SET UP THE URC– By Searching Through the Library.

– You are recommended to jot down your Device Codes in the space provided

on back label after setting up the URC correctly for future reference.

By Searching Through the Library

If you cannot identify a correct Device Code for your equipment from the Device
Code list, you may search the code through the library:-

1. Turn on your device manually (e.g. TV).

2. Press a desired Device Mode Key (e.g. ).

3. Hold down “ P+ ” and “ VOL– ” on the URC together simultaneously for 2
seconds until the indicator lights up.

4. Enter a corresponding Magic Search Code from following table. The in­dicator should go out immediately.

MAGIC SEARCH CODE:

(e.g. press device mode key, then press “ P+ ” and “ VOL– ” , and enter
TV Magic Search Code 0001.)

5. Press the same desired device mode key again as in step 2 above. (e.g. )

6. Hold down “ P+ ” & “ VOL– ” together simultaneously for 2 seconds until
the indicator lights up, and your URC is ready to start searching.

7. Aim the URC at your device (e.g. TV), press the “ ” key repeatedly, slowly
and patiently until the device has been turned off.
Once your device has been turned off, immediately press “ P+ ” and
“ VOL– ” to lock in code and the indicator should go out.

* Simply repeat the above setup procedures to search the Device Code for

your SAT, DVD or CTV. (Remember to press a correct Device Mode Key and
correct Magic Search Code in step 2-5 above)

IMPORTANT:

– If the power on/off function of your device is not infra-red controlled - you

need to follow steps 2 to 6 above and start searching :-

• Press “ ” and another important function key alternately until your
device responds to the expected function, press “ P+ ” and “ VOL– ” to
lock in the code.

e.g. Press “ ” & “ 1 ” alternately, or ;

Note:

– DVD, CTV and SAT can be searched and locked into any device modes

except “TV” mode. Just simply press the corresponding device mode key
in step 2 & 5 and enter an appropriate Magic Search Code for your DVD,
CTV and SAT.

– Each time you press the “ ”, the URC will skip to the next code and

send out a POWER signal trying to turn off your device.
If you failed to stop pressing “ ” in time when your device has been
turned off, turn on your device again immediately. Before the indicator
goes out, press “ ” on the URC to skip backward. Repeat the step 7
above and lock in code.

– If the indicator flashes twice after your pressing of “ ” key, you are

already at the last code of the library. Press “ P+ ” and “ VOL– ” to resume
the URC and repeat carefully the above procedures to search again.

3 OPERATING THE URC

Normal Operation

Once you have set up the URC for your A/V equipment, it works like your origi­nal remote controls. To operate, just aim it at your equipment, press an appro­priate device mode key and invoke the desired function by pressing a corre­sponding key on the URC. The indicator flashes during signal transmission and
as confirmation of key touch.

Punch Through

Punch through allows you to operate TV’s volume and mute functions without
having to switch the device modes repeatedly even when your URC is in other
operating modes.

4 ADVANCED OPERATION

Secondary Function

Symbols of secondary function are printed in different colors on the panel,
and a SECONDARY FUNCTION TABLE is included in the interior page of the
coversheet. To invoke a secondary function, press followed by a corre­sponding function key.

5 MAINTENANCE

1. Do not expose your URC to dust, strong sunlight, humidity, high temperature
or mechanical shock.

2. Do not use old and new batteries together as old batteries tend to leak.

3. Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleansers on your URC.

4. Keep the unit dust free by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.

5. Do not disassemble your URC, it contains no user-serviceable parts.

6 TROUBLESHOOTING

Q. My URC does not work at all!

A. Check your A/V device, if the device’s main switch is turned off, your URC

could not operate your device.

A. Check whether your batteries are inserted properly and are in correct +/- marks.
A. Check whether you have pressed the corresponding device mode key for

your device.

A. If the batteries are low, replace the batteries.
Q. If several Device Codes listed under the brand of my A/V device, how can I

select the correct Device Code?

A. To seek the correct Device Code for your A/V device, test the code one by

one until most keys work properly.

Q. My A/V equipment responds only to some of the commands.
A. You have set a code for which only some commands work properly but some

do not. Try other codes until most keys work properly.

Félicitations! Votre Télécommande Universelle (TCU) est un appareil d’avant­garde qui intègre une grande variété de télécommandes à infra-rouges vous
permettant de déclencher immédiatement toute une série de fonctions audio­visuelles (A/V).

Avant toute premiere utilisation, veuillez (1) lire entierement la notice
d’utilisation (2) et les instructions. De plus, conservez precieusement la no­tice; celle-ci contient des informations importantes.

1 MISE EN PLACE DES PILES

Alcalines de préférence. Le nombre de piles necessaires est marque sur le
dos du couvercle du compartiment des piles.

1. Retirer le couvercle du logement au dos de votre TCU.

2. Vérifier la polarité des piles et les signes “+/–” gravés dans le logement.

3. Insérer les piles.

4. Remettre le couvercle en place.

Piles Faibles

Si, après avoir activé une commande, le voyant de contrôle clignote lentement
deux fois, cela signifie que les piles sont faibles. Vous devez changer toutes
les piles pour un bon fonctionnement.

2 COMMENT RÉGLER LA TCU

Par sélection de code de l’appareil

Vous pouvez régler la TCU en suivant les instructions de sélection ci-après.

1. Reportez-vous à la LISTE DES CODES D’APPAREIL et cherchez le code
à quatre chiffres qui correspond à la marque ou modèle de votre matériel
audio-visuel. Si plusieurs codes figurent en regard du nom de marque,
essayez d’abord le premier code.

2. Appuyez sur la touche de mode souhaitée ( , par ex.).

3. Appuyer simultanément sur les touches “ P+ ” et “ VOL– ” de la TCU
pendant 2 secondes jusqu’à ce que le voyant s’allume.

4. Tapez le code à 4 chiffres correspondant à votre appareil à l’aide des
touches numériques le voyant de contrôle doit alors s’éteindre
immédiatement.

Allumez votre appareil (TV, par ex.), puis essayez les touches de fonctions de
la TCU. Si votre appareil (TV, par ex.) répond correctement à la fonction d’appel,
c’est que vous avez sélectionné le bon code.
Sinon, répétez l’opération selon les instructions de réglage ci-dessus avec
les autres codes mentionnés sur la liste jusqu’à ce que votre appareil (TV, par
ex.) réponde à la fonction d’appel et que la plupart des touches fonctionnent
normalement.

* Repeter simplement la procedure ci-dessus afin de programmer les codes

pour votre magnétoscope, recepteur SAT, DVD ou CTV.

Rappeler vous de séléctionner la touche de fonction correcte au point 2

ci-dessus.

Note :

– Les codes pour DVD,CTV et SAT peuvent etres introlduits sous n’importe

quel appareil sauf “TV” . Il vous suffit d’introduire les 4 chiffres du code
de l’appareil concerné.

Si le voyant clignote deux fois pendant les opérations ci-dessus, c’est
que vous avez introduit un mauvais code d’Appareil. Répétez alors les
étapes 2 et 4.

Une suggestion :

– Si vous n’arrivez pas à trouver un bon Code d’Appareil pour votre matériel,

reportez vous à la rubrique 2 COMMENT RÉGLER LA TCU – Par
recherche dans la bibliotèque.

– Il est recommandé de noter vos Codes d’Appareil dans l’espace prévu

sur l’étiquette au dos de l’appareil pour référence ultérieure, après
avoir correctement réglé votre TCU.

Par recherche dans la bibliotèque

Si vous n’arrivez pas à identifier le bon Code pour vos appareils dans la Liste
des Codes d’Appareil, essayez notre méthode de recherche de code:

1. Allumez votre appareil ( , par ex.).

2. Appuyez sur la touche de Mode souhaitée ( par ex.).

3. Appuyez simultanément sur les touches “ P+ ” et “ VOL– ” de la TCU
pendant 2 secondes jusqu’à ce que le voyant s’allume.

4. Introduisez un code Magiques correspondant du tableau ci-après. Le voyant
devrait alors s’éteindre immédiatement.

(par ex. appuyez sur la touche et ensuite sur les touches “ P+ ” et
“ VOL– ” et introduisez le code Magique 0001)

5. Presser sur le mode de fonction désiré (ex. : ).

6. Appuyez simultanément sur les touches “ P+ ” et “ VOL– ” de la TCU
pendant 2 secondes jusqu’à ce que le voyant s’allume.

7. Pointez la télécommande vers l’appareil (TV, par ex.); appuyez lentement
et patiemment sur la touche “ ” le nombre de fois nécessaires pour que
l’appareil s’éteigne.
Dés que votre appareil s’est éteint, appuyez immédiatement sur “ P+ ” et
“ VOL– ” afin de confirmer le code et éteindre le témoin.

* Repetez simplement la procedure ci-dessus afin de trouvez les codes pour

votre magnétoscope, recepteur SAT, DVD ou CTV.
N’oubliez pas d’appuyer sur la bonne touche de Mode lors de l’étape 2-5
ci-dessus.

IMPORTANTES:

– Si la fonction “Marche/Arrêt” (ON/OFF) de votre appareil n’est pas

commandée par infra-rouges, il vous faut suivre les étapes 2 à 6 ci-dessus
et commencer à chercher :

• Appuyez alternativement sur “ ” et une autre touche de fonction
importante jusqu’à ce que votre appareil reponde à le fonction
sélectionnée. Ensuite appuyez sur “ P+ ” et “ VOL– ” afin de confirmer
le code.

Note:

– Les codes pour DVD, CTV et SAT peuvent êtres programmés sous

n’importe quel mode sauf “TV” . Sélectionnez simplement la touche mode
approprié tel que repris au point 2, 5 et introduisez le code de recherche
magique correspondant à votre DVD, CTV ou SAT.

Note:

– Chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la touche “ ”, la TCU passe au code

suivant et ément un signal “ ” (Courant) pour tenter d’éteindre votre
appareil.
Si vous n’avez pas cessé à temps d’appuyer sur la touche “ ” quand
votre appareil s’est éteint, rallumez celui-ci immédiatement. Avant que le
voyant ne s’éteigne, appuyez sur la touche “ ” de votre TCU pour
retourner en arrière. Répétez l’étape 7 ci-dessus et verrouillez le code.

– Si le témoin clignote deux fois après avoir appuyé sur “ ”, c’est que

vous êtes arrivé au dernier code. Appuyé sur “ P+ ” et “ VOL– ” pour
réinitialiser la télécommande et recommencez attentivement la
procédure ci-dessus afin de répéter la recherche.

3 MODE DE FONCTIONNEMENT DE LA TCU

Fonctionnement Normal

Une fois la TCU réglée pour votre matériel audio-visuel, elle fonctionne comme
vos télécommandes habituelles. Pour la faire fonctionner, il vous suffit de la
pointer vers votre appareil, puis d’appuyer sur la touche de mode appropriée et
d’appeler la fonction désirée en enfonçant la touche correspondante de la TCU.

Enfoncement de touches sans discontinuite

L’enfoncement de touches sans discontinuité vous permet de régler les fonctions
“volume” et “silence” de votre téléviseur sans avoir à changer continuellement
de mode d’appareil même quand votre TCU est sur d’autres modes de
fonctionnement.

4 OPERATIONS COMPLEXES

Fonctions Secondaires

Les symboles de fonctions secondaires sont imprimés en couleurs différentes
sur le panneau et un TABLEAU DES FONCTIONS SECONDAIRES est inclus
dans la page interne de la notice d’utilisation. Pour appeler une fonction
secondaire, appuyez sur , puis sur la touche de fonction correspondante.

5 ENTRETIEN

1. N’exposez pas votre TCU à la poussière, la forte lumière du soleil,
l’humidité, des températures élevées ou des chocs mécaniques.

2. Ne mélangez pas des piles neuves et des piles anciennes, car les vieilles
piles ont tendance à couler.

3. N’utilisez pas des produits corrosifs ou abrasifs pour nettoyer votre TCU.

4. Dépoussiérez l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon doux et sec.

5. Ne démontez pas votre TCU: elle renferme des pièces non prévues pour
entretien par l’usager.

PANNES ET PROBLÈMES DE FONCTIONNEMENT

Q. Ma TCU ne marche pas!

R. Vérifiez votre appareil audio-visuel. Si l’interrupteur principal de votre appareil

est fermé, votre TCU ne peut le faire fonctionner.

R. Vérifiez que vos piles sont placées correctement selon les indications “+/-”.
R. Verifiez si vous avez selectionné la touche “mode” correspondant à votre

appareil.

R. Si les piles sont faibles, remplacez-les.
Q. Si plusieurs Codes d’Appareil figurent en regard de la marque de mon appareil

audio-visuel, que dois-je faire pour sélectionner le bon code d’appareil?

R. Pour découvrir le bon code pour votre appareil audio-visuel, essayez les

codes un par un jusqu’à ce que la plupart des touches fonctionnent
convenablement.

Q. Mes appareils audio-visuels répondent seulement à certaines commandes.
R. Vous avez choisi un code pour lequel seules certaines des commandes

fonctionnent convenablement. Essayez d’autres codes jusqu’à ce que la
plupart des touches fonctionnent comme il faut.

NOTE: La version anglaise de ce manuel d'instructions fait foi en toutes circonstances.

Wir gratulieren Ihnen zu Ihrem Kauf. Ihre Universal Fernbedienung UFB ist
eines der modernsten Geraete dieser Art. Die UFB ermoeglicht Ihnen,
verschiedene Audio/Video-Geraete einfach zu handhaben, und dies mit nur
einer Fernbedienung.

Bevor Sie die Fernbedienung in Betrieb nehmen, lesen Sie bitte ausfuhrlich
(1) den Inhalt des Deckblattes und (2) diese Anleitung. Behalten Sie die
Anleitung zum Nachschlagen.

1 EINSETZEN DER BATTERIEN

Alkalibatterien werden empfohlen. Die Anzahl der benotigten Batterien ist auf
der Ruckseite des Deckblattes angegeben.

1. Batterieabdeckung auf der Rückseite der UFB abnehmen.

2. Beachten Sie die Polarität der Batterien und die “+/-” Markierungen im
Batteriefach.

3. Legen Sie die Batterien ein.

4. Setzen Sie die Abdeckung wieder auf.

Batterie schwach

Blinkt die Statusanzeige zweimal langsam aufnachdem Sie irgendeinen Befehl
eingegeben haben, sind die Batterien erschoepft. Um hoechste Leistung zu
gewaehrleisten, muessen alle Batterien ausgewechselt werden. Hierzu siehe
Abschnitt “Einsentzen de Batterien”.

2 INSTALLATION DER UFB

Durch Eingabe des Geraete-Codes

Gehen Sie zwecks Inbetriebnahme der UFB wie folgt vor.

1. Stellen Sie zunaechst den fuer Ihr Geraet geltenden 4-stelligen Code
fest. Diesen finden Sie in der beiliegenden Geraete-Code-Liste. Die Codes
sind nach Marken geordnet. Jeder Marke sind einer oder mehrere Codes
zugeordnet. Der gaengige Code steht an erster Stelle.

2. Druecken Sie die gewuenschte Geraeteauswahl-Taste (z.B. )

3. Halten Sie die “ P+ ” und die “ VOL– ” -Taste der Universalfernbedienung
gleichzeitig für 2 Sekunden gedrückt bis die Kontrolleuchte

aufleuchtet.

4. Geben Sie über die Zifferntasten den 4-stelligen Gerätecode ein,
das Anzeigelicht sollte sofort erlöschen.

Schalten Sie Ihr Geraet ein (z.B. TV) und betaetigen eine Funktion Ihrer
Fernbedienung. Reagiert Ihr Geraet auf die Befehle Ihrer Fernbedienung, so
haben Sie den richtigen Code eingegeben.

Wenn Ihr Geraet nicht auf die UFB anspricht, dann wiederholen Sie die obigen
Schritte mit den anderen fuer die entsprechende Marke aufgefuehrten 4­stelligen Codes. Wenn Sie damit auch keinen Erfolg haben, dann versuchen
Sie es mit der in Kapitel “Codesuchlauf (automatischer Suchlauf)”
beschriebenen Such-Methode.

* Wiederholen Sie oben genannte Schritte, um die Codes des Sat Recivers,

des DVD Spielers oder Videodisk Gerätes zu programmieren. Beachten
Sie, das richtige Gerät (Schritt 2) auszuwählen.

Bitte beachten Sie :

– Videodisk und andere Gerätecodes können als beliebiger Gerätetype

außer “TV” programmiert werden. Drücken Sie einfach den
Gerätewahlknopf und geben den 4-stelligen Code für DVD, Videodisk
und SAT.

– Wenn die LED-Anzeige zweimal waehrend des vorgenannten Vorgangs

aufleuchtet, wurde ein falscher Code eingegeben. Der Vorgang muss
ab Punkt 2 wiederholt werden.

– Wenn Sie mit mehr als 4 Geraeten arbeiten Wollen, koennen Sie 4

weitere Geraete ueber die 2. Tastenebene betreiben (s. Kapitel “Weitere
Anwendungen - 2. Tastenebene”).

– Notieren Sie den Code Ihres Geraetes auf dem dafuer vorgesehenen

Aufkleber auf der Rueckseite Ihrer Fernbedienung.

Des Codesuchlauf – Automatischer suchlauf

Wenn Ihr Geraet nicht auf die UFB anspricht, obwohl Sie alle fuer Ihren
Geraetetyp und die entsprechende Marke aufgefuehrten Codes ausprobiert
haben, dann versuchen Sie es mit dem automatischen Suchlauf. Mit Hilfe des
sogenannten “Magic-Suchlaufs” finden Sie zudem den korrekten Code Ihres
Geraetes, auch wenn Ihre Marke in der Geraete-Code-Liste nicht aufgefuehrt
ist. Beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Anweisungen, wenn Sie beispielsweise
den Code Ihres Fernsehers suchen:

1. Schalten Sie den Fernseher ein.

2. Druecken Sie die gewuenschte Geraeteauswahl-Taste (z.B. ).

3. Halten Sie die “ P+ ” und die “ VOL– ” - Taste der Universalfernbedienung
gleichzeitig für 2 Sekunden gedrückt bis die Kontrolleuchte aufleuchtet.

4. Geben Sie einen entsprechenden “Magischen Suchcode” aus folgender
Tabelle ein. Die Anzeige sollte dann sofort erloeschen.

(Drücken Sie z.B. den Geräteknopf, drücken dann “ P+ ” und “ VOL– ”
und geben dann den für TV “Magischen Suchcode” 0001 ein.)

5. Die ausgewählte Funktionstaste wie in Schritt 2 (z.B. ) drücken.

6. Halten Sie die Tasten “ P+ ” und “ VOL– ” ca. 2 Sekunden gleichzeitig
gedrückt, bis die Anzeige aufleuchtet.

7. Richten Sie die Fernbedienung auf Ihre Geraete (TV) und druecken
Sie die wiederholt langsam, bis sich Ihr Geraet ausschaltet.

Sobald Ihr Gerät abgeschaltet hat, drücken Sie sofort “ P+ ” und “ VOL– ”
um den Gerätecode zu speichern. Die Anzeige sollte erlöschen.

* Wiederholen Sie oben genannte Schritt, um den passenden Gerätecode für

Ihr SAT-, DVD- oder Videodiskgerät zu ermitteln.
Achten Sie allerdings bei Punkt 2-5 darauf dass Sie den passenden
Geraetetyp (SAT oder CTV) auswaehlen.

WICHTIGE:

– Wenn die AN/AUS-Funktion Ihres Geraetes nicht Infrarot gesteuert ist

gehen Sie nach Punkt 2-6 vor und suchen wie folgt:

• Druecken Sie und eine andere wichtige Gerätefunktion
abwechselnd, bis das Gerät entsprechend reagiert. Drücken Sie zum
Speichern “ P+ ” und “ VOL– ”.

Beispiel. : Druecken Sie die & 1 abwechselnd oder

Bitte beachten Sie:

– DVD, Videodisk und SAT können unter jedem Gerätetyp gesucht und

gespeichert werden, außer TV . Drücken Sie einfach den Gerätewahlknopf
(Schritt 2, 5) und geben den entsprechenden “magischen Suchcode” für
DVD, TV oder SAT.

– Bei jedem Druecken der springt die UFB zum naechsten Code.

Gleichzeitig senden die UFB ein Signal aus, um das Geraet abzuschalten.
Wenn Sie versaeumt haben, die zu betaetigen und Ihr Geraet
abschaltet, schalten Sie es umgehend wieder an. Noch bevor die LED­Anzeige erlischt, druecken Sie die um Ihr Fernbedienung
zurueckzustellen. Gehen Sie dann wie ab Punkt 7 beschrieben weiter vor.

– Wenn die Anzeige zweimal aufblinkt, nachdem Sie den knopf gedrückt

haben, haben Sie den letzten verfügbaren Gerätecode erreicht. Drücken
Sie “ P+ ” und “ VOL– ” um die Suche von vorne zu beginnen, wie oben
beschrieben.

Wenn Sie einmal die Einstellungen der UFB fuer Ihr Audio/Video-Geraete
vorgenommen haben, arbeitete die UFB wie die original Fernbedienung. Um

Punch Through

den verschiedenen Geräte-Modi umschalten müssen, wenn die UFB in einem
anderen Geräte-Modus funktioniert.

5 INSTANDHALTUNG

2. Benutzen Sie nie alte und neue Batterien zusammen, da alte Batterien
leicht auslaufen.

3. Benutzen Sie keine aetzenden oder aggressive Reingungsmittel.

4. Reinigen Sie die Fernbedienung nur mit einem feuchten, fussel freiem Tuch.

5. Versuchen Sie nicht, die Fernbedienung selbst zu reparieren.

Congratulazioni! Il vostro telecomando universale (URC) è un apparecchio
avanzatissimo che integra molteplici telecomandi a infrarossi per fornire azione
istantanea A/V al tocco della vostra mano.

Prima di far operare il telecomando, vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente (1)
I’interno della confezione e (2) questo manuale d’istruzione. Per qualsiasi
problema futuro fare sempre riferimento a questo manuale.

1 COME INSTALLARE LE BATTERIE

Sono consigliate batterie alcaline. If numero delle batterie richieste e
posizionato neiia parte posteriore della confezione.

1. Rimuovete il coperchio del vano batteria sul retro dell’URC.

2. Fate attenzione alla polarità delle batterie e ai segni “+/-” all’interno del
vano batteria.

3. Inserite le batterie.

4. Rimettete il coperchio del vano batteria al suo posto.

Batterie scariche

Se il segnale di stato operativo lampeggia due volte lentamente dopo che
avete premuto tutti i tasti, significa che le batterie sono scariche e che devono
essere sostituite per poter assicurare un funzionamento corretto.

2 COME PROGRAMMARE IL VOSTRO URC

Con I Codici Apparecchio

Potete programmare il vostro URC usando i seguenti codici o istruzioni.

1. Facendo riferimento alla LISTA DEI CODICI APPARECCHIO, cercate il
codice apparecchio a 4 cifre che corrisponde alla marca e ai modelli del
vostro apparecchio A/V. Se c’è più di un codice elencato sotto la vostra
marca, provate con il primo codice seguendo.

2. Premete il tasto del modo apparecchio desiderato (e.g. ).

3. Tenete premuti “ P+ ” et “ VOL– ” sul vostro URC simultaneamente per 2
secondi fino a far accendere la luce.

4. Usate i tasti numerati per registrare il vostro codice apparecchio a
4 cifre. A questo punto l’indicatore dello stato operativo si dovrebbe
spegnere immediatement.

Accendete il vostro apparecchio (i.e. TV) e provate i tasti delle funzioni sull’URC.
Se il vostro apparecchio (e.g. “TV”) risponde alla vostra funzione correttamente,
significa che avete registrato il codice giusto.

Se così non fosse, ripetete le istruzioni di programmazione di cui sopra con
gli altri codici disponibili fino a quando l’apparecchio (e.g. “TV”) non risponde
alla funzione desiderata e la maggior parte dei tasti funziona correttamente.

* Seguire semplicemente le istruzioni di inserimento dei codici per ivostri

SAT, DVD o CTV. Ricordatevi di premere il “mode apparecchio” al
passon 2.

TV

Nota :

– DVD, CTV ed SAT possono venire inseriti ad eccezione delle sezioni

“TV” . Selezionando semplicemente il “modo apparecchio” ed inserendo
la chiave numerica a 4 numeri per DVD, CTV ed SAT.

Se la luce lampeggia due volte durante le fasi di cui sopra, significa che
è stato programmato un codice sbagliato. Dovete perciò ripetere le fasi
2 e 4.

Suggerimento :

– Se non riuscite a trovare un codice corretto per il vostro apparecchio,

controllate il punto 2 COME PROGRAMMARE IL VOSTRO URC – Con
La Ricerca Mediante la Libreria

– Per futuro riferimento siete invitati a scrivere i vostri codici nello spazio

apposito sul retro dell’etichetta dopo aver programmato correttamente
l’URC.

Se non riuscite a identificare un codice apparecchio corretto per la vostra unità
dalla Lista dei codici, potete provare il nostro metodo di ricerca dei codici:

1. Accendete il vostro apparecchio (e.g. “TV”).

2. Premete il tasto del modo apparecchio desiderato (e.g. ).

3. Tenete premuti sul vostro URC “ P+ ” et “ VOL– ” simultaneamente per 2
secondi fino a quando la luce non si accende.

4. Inserite il corrispondente “Condice Magico” di ricerca dalla seguente tabella.
Il segnale luminoso dovrebbe spegnersi immediatamente.

5. Premere per selezionare l’apparecchiatura come al punto 2 (es. ).

6. Tenete premuti “ P+ ” et “ VOL– ” sul vostro URC simultaneamente per 2
secondi fino a far accendere la luce.

7. Puntate l’URC verso l’apparecchio (e.g. “TV”), premete ripetutamente il
tasto “ ” lentamente e con pazienza fino a quando l’apparecchio non
sia spento.
Appena l’apparecchio si spegne, premete subito “ P+ ” e “ VOL– ” per
memorizzare il codice e l’indicatores si spegnerà.

* Ripetete semplicemente operazioni sopracitate anche per i vostri SAT, DVD

o CTV. (Ricordate di premere il tasto del modo apparecchio giusto del
punto 2-5 di cui sopra.)

IMPORTANTI:

– Se la funzione di accensione/spegnimento del vostro apparecchio non è

a infrarossi dovete seguire le fasi 2-6 elencate sopra e iniziare la ricerca:

– Premete “ ” e gli altri importanti tasti di funzione per verificare la

funzionalità, quindi premere “ P+ ” e “ VOL– ” per memorizzare il codice.
e.g.: Premete “ ” e “ 1 ” alternativamente, o:

Premete “ ” e “ ” alternativamente.

TV

Nota:

– DVD, CTV ed SAT possono essere ricercati e memorizzati ad eccezione

dei modi “TV”. Semplicemente selezionando l’apparecchio come al
passagio n.2, 5 inserndo l’appropriato codice magico per il vostro DVD,
CTV ed SAT.

– Ogni volta che premete “ ”, l’URC salta al codice seguente e emette il

segnale “POWER” perché cerca di spegnere l’apparecchio.

– Se non siete riusciti a smettere di premere “ ” in tempo quando

l’apparecchio è spento, accendetelo di nuovo subito. Prima che la luce si
spenga premete “ ” sull’URC per tornare indietro e quindi ripetete la
fase 7 per memorizzare il codice.

– Se l’indicatore led si illumina due volte premendo il tasto “ ”, siete

già alla fine della libreria codici. Premete “ P+ ” e “ VOL– ” per azzerare
il vostro URC e ripetere accuratamente la procedura di ricerca.

3 COME OPERARE L’URC

Operazione normale

Una volta che avete programmato l’URC per il vostro apparecchio A/V, questo
funzionerà come un telecomando originale. Per farlo funzionare, puntatelo
semplicemente verso l’apparecchio, premete il tasto del modo appropriato e
richiamate la funzione desiderata premendo il tasto corrispondente sull’URC.
La luce lampeggia durante la trasmissione di un segnale e come conferma
dopo aver toccato un tasto.

Funzione di contatto

Questa funzione vi permette di agire sul volume della TV e sulle funzioni
silenziose senza dover cambiar ripetutamente i modi apparecchio anche quando
l’URC è posizionato su altri modi.

4 OPERAZIONE AVANZATA

Fonzione Secondaria

I simboli della funzione secondaria sono stampati in colori diversi sul pannello,
e una TAVOLA DELLA FUNZIONE SECONDARIA è inclusa nella I’interno della
confezione. Per richiamare una funzione secondaria premete e quindi il
tasto della funzione corrispondente.

SHIFT

5 MANUTENZIONE

1. Non esponete l’URC a polvere, forte luce solare, umidità, alta temperatura
o impatto meccanico.

2. Non usate batterie nuove e semiscariche insieme, poichè queste ultime
tendono a perdere.

3. Non usate prodotti corrosivi o abrasivi sul vostro URC.

4. Tenete l’unità al riparo dalla polvere spolverandola con un panno asciutto
e morbido.

5. Non smontate l’URC. Contiene solo parti non interessanti per l’utente.

GUIDA ALLA RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI TECNICI

D. Il mio URC non funziona!

R. Controlli l’apparecchio A/V. Se l’interuttore dell’apparecchio è spento, l’URC

non può funzionare.

R. Controlli se le batterie sono inserite correttamente e seguono la giusta polarità

+/-.

R. Controllate a questo punto di aver inserito l’esatto codice per l’apparecchio.
R. Se le batterie sono scariche, le sostituisca.

D. Se ci sono molti codici apparecchio elencati sotto la marca del mio

apparecchio A/V, come posso selezionare il giusto codice apparecchio?

R. Per cercare il corretto codice per l’apparecchio A/V, provi i codici uno dopo

l’altro fino a quando tutti i tasti funzionano nel modo giusto.

D. Il mio apparecchio A/V risponde solo ad alcuni dei comandi.
R. Ha selezionato un codice per cui solo alcuni dei comandi funzionano

correttamente e altri no. Provi altri codici fino a quando la maggior parte dei
tasti non funziona bene.

NOTA : In caso ci siano differenze tra la versione del testo in Inglese con quella in Italiano, il
testo in Inglese prevale a tutti gli effetti.

Felicitaciones! Su Control Remoto Universal (CRU) es un dispositivo obra­de-arte, integrados de diferentes controles remotos infra-rojos, el cual puede
realizar acciones A/V respondiendo instantaneamente a los comandos de su
dedo.

Antes de usar el mando a distancia, lea deternidamente (1) el interior de la
portada, (2) asi como este manual. Luego guardelos para futuras consultas.

1 COMO INSTALAR LAS BATERIAS

Se recomienda baterías alcalinas. El numero de pilas que son requeridas es
indicado en la contraportada.

1. Remover las baterías en la parte trasera de la CRU.

2. Observar las polaridades de las baterías y las marcas “+/-” dentro de su
compartimento.

3. Insertar las baterías.

4. Colocar las baterías en su sitio.

Baterías Gastadas

Si el indicador de estado está en intermitente dos veces después de que
algún comando es Ilamado, esto indica que los niveles de las baterías están
bajas. Deben reemplazarlas por baterías nuevas para asegurar su buen
funcionamiento.

2 COMO INSTALAR EL CRU

Por la Entrada de Código de Dispositivo

Puede instalar el CRU por la entrada del siguiente código o la búsqueda de
instrucciones.

1. Referente a la LISTA DE LOS CÓDIGOS DE DISPOSITIVO, busque los 4­dígito del código del dispositivo correspondiente a la marca y modelos de
su equipo A/V. Si existe más de un Código de Dispositivo bajo su marca,
trate desde el mismo código.

2. Pulse la Tecla del Tipo del Dispositivo deseada (e. ).

3. Mantenga presionada “ P+ ” y “ VOL– ” en el CRU juntos simultáneamente
por 2 segundos hasta que el indicador se encienda.

4. Use las teclas de números para entrar su código de dispositivo de
4-dígito. El indicador debe apagarse inmediatamente.

Encienda su dispositivo (e. TV), y trate las teclas de funciones en el CRU. Si
su dispositivo (e.TV) responde correctamente a su función solicitada, ha
entrado el Código de Dispositivo correcto.

De otro tipo repita las mencionadas instrucciones con el resto de los Códigos
disponibles hasta que su dispositivo (e.TV) responda a su función deseada,
donde las teclas trabajen correctamente.

* Repita simplemente los procedimientos citados para introducir los códigos

de dispositivo para su SAT, DVD o CTV. Recuerde pulsar la tecla Device
Mode correcta en el Paso 2 citado más arriba.

Nota :

– Los códigos de dispositivo CTV y otros pueden introducirse en cualquier

modo de dispositivo, excepto “TV” . Pulse simplemente la tecla Device
Mode e introduzca su código de 4 dígitos para DVD, CTV y SAT.

Si el indicador está en intermitente dos veces durante el procedimiento
mencionado, ha registrado un código incorrecto. Se requiere repetir
los pasos 2 y 4 nuevamente.

– Si no puede encontrar el código correcto para su equipo, vea la sección

– Es recomendable que anote su Código de Dispositivo en el espacio

Si no puede identificar el Código correcto para su equipo desde la Lista de
Códigos, debe tratar con nuestro método de búsqueda de códigos:-

1. Entrando su código de TV.

2. Pulse la Tecla del Tipo del Dispositivo deseada (e. ).

3. Mantenga presionada “ P+ ” y “ VOL– ” en el CRU juntos simultáneamente
por 2 segundos hasta que el indicador se encienda.

4. Introduzca un Código Magic Search (Búsqueda Mágica) de la tabla
siguiente. El indicador debe apagarse inmediatamente.

CÓDIGO DE BÚSQUEDA MÁGICA :

(Por ejemplo, pulse la tecla Device Mode . A continuación pulse “ P+ ”

– Si la función de on/off (encendido/apagado) de su equipo no es infra-rojo

controlado - necesitará seguir los pasos del 2 al 6 empezar la búsqueda:-

• Pulse alternativamente “ ” y otra tecla de función importante hasta
que su dispositivo responda a la función esperada. Luego pulse “ P+ ”y
“ VOL– ” para guardar el código.

– Cada vez que presione el “ ”, el CRU parará el siguiente código y

enviará una señal de POWER tratando de apagar su equipo.
Si falla para parar presionando el “ ” a tiempo cuando su equipo ha
sido apagado, encienda inmediatamente su equipo otra vez. Antes de
que el indicador se apague, presione “ ” en el CRU para omitir lo
anterior. Repetir el paso 7 y guardar el código.

– Si el indicador se ilumina dos veces después de haber pulsado la

tecla “ ”, se encuentra Vd. en el último código de la librería. Pulse
“ P+ ” y “ VOL– ” para que su mando CRU comience de nuevo y repita
cuidadosamente los procedimientos citados para buscar de nuevo.

3 OPERACION DEL CRU

Una vez que el CRU ha sido programado para utilizar su equipo A/V, éste
trabajará igual como su control remoto orginal. Para operar solamente apunta
éste a su equipo, presione la tecla apropiada del tipo de dispositivo, y podrá
usar la función deseada presionando la tecla correspondiente en el CRU. El
indicador estará en intermitente durante la transmisión de señales.

Punch Through

Permite operar el volumen y la función muda de la TVs, sin tener que cambiar al
tipo de dispositivo repetidamente aún cuando el CRU está en otro modo
operativo.

4 OPERACION AVANZADA

Fonción Secundaria

Los símbolos de las funciones secundarias son impresos en diferentes colores
en el panel, y una TABLA DE FUNCIONES SECUNDARIAS estará incluida
dentro de la Interior de la portada. Para usar la función secundaria debe
presionar seguida de su tecla de función correspondiente.

SHIFT

5 MANTENIMIENTO

1. No exponga su CRU al polvo, sol, humedad, alta temperatura, o choque
eléctrico.

2. No utilice la combinación de baterías viejas y nuevas, ya que las viejas
tiende a tener escape de ácido.

3. No use limpiadores corrosivo o abrasivo en su CRU.

4. Mantenga el CRU libre de polvo, limpiándolo con un paño suave y seco.

5. No desarme su CRU, éste no contiene partes servibles para otros usos.

PROBLEMAS

P. ¡Mi CRU no trabaja!

R. Revise su dispositivo A/V, si el selector principal del dispositivo está apagado,

su CRU no funcionará.

R. Revise si las baterías están colocadas apropiadamente, con sus respectivos

polaridades +/-.

R. Compruebe si ha pulsado la tecla correspondiente para su dispositivo.
R. Si las baterías están gastadas, deben reemplazarlas.

P. ¿Si existe varios Códigos de Dispositivo que corresponde a la misma marca

de mi equipo A/V, Cómo prodría seleccioar el Código correcto?

R. Para buscar el Código correcto para su equipo A/V, debe probar uno por uno

hasta que la mayoría de las teclas funcione correctamente.

P. Mi equipo A/V solamente responde ciertos comandos.
R. Usted ha seleccionado un código el cual algunos comandos funcionan y

otros no. Trate otros códigos hasta que la mayorías de los comandos trabaje
apropiadamente.

NOTA : De haber differencia entre la versión inglés y la versión en español de este texto, para
todo propósito, la versióninglés será decisiva.
