To charge your shaver, connect the cord from the charging stand to your electrical outlet.
Be sure shaver is OFF before placing on the charging stand. The green indicator light on the shaver indicates your shaver is charging.
Charge shaver for 18–24 hours before using it for the first time and thereafter as required. Shaver cannot be overcharged so you may leave it on the charging stand between shaves, or you may remove it for a week or more before recharging.
To avoid damaging the foils, do not push on the foils when inserting the shaver into the charging stand.
In order to preserve the life of the batteries, they should be fully discharged every six months and then fully charged for 24 hours.

unit with a dry towel. The shaver shall not be used until it has dried. To clean external surfaces of the shaver, use a damp cloth. A mild detergent may be used. DO NOT use strong detergents or other chemicals. Wipe dry with towel. DO NOT use hair dryer or heater to dry shaver.
When to Replace Your Foils and Cutters
It is very important to replace your foils and cutters when necessary to ensure a close, comfortable shave without irritation. We recommend
that the foils be replaced every 6 months and cutters be replaced every 12 months. Here are some
signs of foil and cutter wear, indicating that replacement is needed: IRRITATION: If the foils get excessively worn, you may experience some skin irritation. DRAG: When the cutters wear, you may feel a sense of pulling and a loss of closeness when you shave. WEAR: Visually check the foils for any signs that the cutters have worn through the foils.
It is always best when replacing the cutters to replace the foils at the same time.
NOTE: The WDF-3500/5500/6000/7000 uses the SP-130 (foils only) or SP-132 (foils and cutters) replacement parts

Usage Tips
Getting a close, comfortable shave
Remington® shavers need no adjustments to their heads or cutters before you shave. The heads will automatically adjust to the contours of your leg.
Adjusting to your new shaver!
As with every shaver, your shave will improve over time. So allow about three weeks to develop an effective shaving style and for your legs to adjust to the new shaver. The adaptation period may take a little longer if your skin is sensitive, or if you alternate between shaving methods.
Before you begin:
Make sure your legs are clean before starting.
Always use a clean shaver.
To Shave
Slide the ON/OFF button up to activate the shaver for shaving.
Hold the shaver so all the heads touch your leg together. This allows the shaver to work the way it was designed for the closest shave and minimum wear. Avoid holding the shaver at an angle so only one head touches the skin. This could cause skin irritation.
Use short, circular strokes. You can use your free hand to stretch your skin. This encourages your hair to stand out, making it easier for them to enter the cutting chamber.
It is not necessary to apply pressure while shaving, just let the shaver glide lightly on your skin. Never press hard. Pressing only flattens your hairs, which makes it harder for them to enter the cutting chamber. It will also wear out the cutting surface more quickly. A gentle touch makes shaving easier and helps avoid possible skin irritation.
Using Shaver with Soap or Foam Lather
When using soap or foam lather, the shaver will glide smoothly over the skin, cleaning away oil residue while at the same time leaving skin soft and smooth.
Apply the soap or foam generously to the skin. Do not use skin lotion, nourishing cream, or shaving cream of the non-lathering type. Shaver should be cleaned after using soap or foam.
Caution: Not recommended for use on head, underarms or any other parts of the body.
The replacement parts for your shaver is model SP-132.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning Your Shaver
The hand-held unit shall be detatched from the power supply cord before cleaning. Clean shaver after every use. Here’s how:
Turn shaver OFF.
Press the side
release button and open the head assembly.
To clean foils, you may rinse the foil area under cold or warm running water. Or blow any loose debris from the foil and use the brush to wipe hair away from plastic areas.
To avoid damage to the foils, DO NOT use the brush to clean foils, and DO NOT try to open or close the head assembly while the shaver is running.
Use the cleaning brush to help remove any loose hairs from the cutters and trimmers. You may also rinse the shaver under cold or warm running water, or in a basin. DO NOT use hot water.
After cleaning, close the head assembly. If rinsed with water, hold shaver facing downward into sink and run for a few seconds to dispel excess water – a gentle shake will help. Wipe the surface of the main

FOR BEST SHAVING PERFORMANCE
We recommend that you use your new shaver daily for two to three weeks to allow time to find an optimum shaving method for your particular type of hair-growth patterns.
NOTE: In case of accidental separation of shaver head: To reattach head, hold on the fully open position, direct one of the two hinges pins on the shaver into corresponding slotted hole on the head assembly, then swing the opposite hinge pin into place.

Battery Removal
When your rechargeable shaver reaches the end of its useful life and before throwing away the shaver,, the batteries must be removed and recycled or disposed of properly in accordance with your state and local requirements.
