The low battery indicator (4) appears when the battery level is low. Replace with batteries of the same type.
1. Open the battery compartment by removing the two screws at the back of the pitch gauge using a Phillips head screwdriver.
2. Remove the battery compartment cover and open the battery compartment.
3. Insert / replace two CR2032 batteries while observing the correct polarity, with the positive side facing upwards.
4. Close the battery compartment and fasten it with the two screws.
7. PREPARATION
Basic settings of the rotor head
Before you start testing, you should rst mount the link rods and the servo levers according to the
manufacturer’s details. This allows a preliminary setting of the rotor blade pitch angles. The exact settings
of the different main rotor blade pitch values required for ying are also indicated in the model helicopter’s
instruction manual.
Turning the pitch gauge on / off
1. Remove the plastic sheet on the batteries (initial use only).
2. Press the power button (7) to turn the pitch gauge on.
3. Press the power button (7) again to turn the pitch gauge off.
Calibrating the pitch gauge
In order to optimize its performance, calibrate the pitch gauge every time you change batteries or whenever you feel it is necessary.
1. Detach the pitch gauge from the mounting plate.
2. Turn on the pitch gauge. By default, it will be in measuring mode.
3. Press and hold the “Set” (10) button for three seconds.
4. Use the “Hold” / button (8) and “Zero” / button (9) to select “PC” shown in the prole number
eld(1).
5. Press the “Set” button (10) to conrm.
6. The display will show “--01--”, which indicates that the pitch gauge is now in calibration step 1.
7. Place the pitch gauge horizontally on the oor or any horizontal surface, as shown below:
7
Pay attention to the orientation of the picture while performing the calibration.
8. The display will show “--02--”, which indicates that the pitch gauge is now in calibration step 2.

8. BASIC OPERATION
Attach the pitch gauge
There are three ways to attach the pitch gauge onto the RC helicopter.
Adaptors With the two magnets at the back of the pitch gauge, it can be attached to the main
Magnet The magnet at the top of the pitch gauge can be used to attach it to screws or metal
Thread socket The thread socket at the top of the pitch gauge can be used to attach it to a screw on
Read the measurements
The digital pitch gauge 2 can show the inclination angle in two axis, pitch and roll.
The inclination angle will show on the display under pitch / roll angle (2).
Protect the pitch gauge
Mount the rubber protector around the pitch gauge to protect it from impact. When the rubber protector is used, the magnet and thread socket at the top cannot be used.
