REC: starts/ pauses recording
STOP: stops playback/ recording. Turns off the unit.
PLAY: turns the unit on. Starts/ pauses playback.
FORWARD: skips and searches forward. Selects/Browses under menu mode
REVERSE: skips and searches backward. Selects/Browses under menu mode
