Get the Picture
Your HDTV allows you to receive channels two ways. Connect a signal one of the two ways as
described below and then run a channel search to get the picture.
The ANT/CABLE (INPUT) receives regular (analog) channels or digital channels.
A. Connect a coaxial cable from the cable outlet to the ANT/CABLE jack to receive your cable
channels. Go to step 2 Connecting to Jacks on Your TV.
– OR –
B. Connect a coaxial cable from an off-air antenna to the ANT/CABLE jack to receive your off-air
digital channels. Go to step 2 Connecting to Jacks on Your TV.
Important HDTV Tip:
By connecting a signal to your ANT/CABLE
jack, you are capable of receiving free off-air
digital channels if available in your area. If
you’re using an antenna and you need help
deciding what type of antenna to use, go to
antennaweb.org. By entering where you live,
this mapping program tells you what local
analog and digital stations are available to you.
Use the coaxial cable from a cable
outlet, off-air antenna, or cable box
to connect to the ANT/CABLE (INPUT).

Viewing Devices Connected to Your TV
What jacks did you connect the device to? Look at the label next to the jacks. These are your choices:
VIDEO1, VIDEO2, USB, CMP1, CMP2, VGA, HDMI1/DVI, HDMI2.
If you’ve connected a device, such as a DVD player, to the CMP1 jacks on your TV and you want to
view the device:
1. Turn on the TV and the DVD player.
2. Repeatedly press the INPUT button on the remote control to scroll through the Video Inputs until
you see the input corresponding with the jack you have the device connected. Since the DVD is
connected to the CMP1 jacks, look for CMP1 to appear at the bottom of the TV's screen.
