options. This is the perfect vehicle to help you make the transition into the world of
HDTV. The RCA Digital High-Definition Monitor can display 1080i (interlaced)
television signals (1,330,560 pixels) when you combine this television with an RCA
DTC100 HD/Digital Receiver. In addition, with its six sets of audio and video inputs
the RCA High-Definition Monitor has much more to offer outside the world of
HDTV. It’s the perfect display for analog, digital and HDTV broadcasts, digital satellite
receiver, video games, DVD player and your VCR—and they can all be connected at
the same time!

• Progressive Scan Up Conversion

The new RCA HDTV|monitor series
employs motion adaptive up conversion
using spatial and temporal filtering to
de-interlace (Sometimes referred to as
line doubling) NTSC video. This process
digitally combines two fields of data
into one high-resolution image frame.

• Anamorphic Mode

The new RCA HDTV|monitor
series decodes an Anamorphically
encoded digital signal (DVD for
example) allowing for maximum
horizontal lines of resolution to
be displayed.

• INTELLIFOCUS™Auto
Convergence

Menu-selectable option that
automatically adjusts the TV’s
convergence using eight optical
sensors mounted around the
inside of the screen. It results
in the sharpest picture possible
with corner-to-corner clarity that
has to be seen to be believed.

New screen design improves brightness
by 25% while utilizing dark-tint double
lenticular and fresnel levels to enhance
picture contrast with blacker blacks,

Special shielding dramatically reduces
ghosting caused from off-air pick-up
when watching cable channels. Digitally­controlled frequency synthesis tuning
system “locks on” to cable and standard
signals with unsurpassed accuracy.

Modulation (SVM)

Improved SVM circuitry automatically
varies the scanning speed of the
picture tube’s electron beam to
improve sharpness and detail,
especially in high-contrast areas.

Customer-selectable color temperature
system allows for background color
balance adjustment of the picture to

are Cool, Warm, or Normal. Warm =

a 16:9 HDTV.

Combining the Digital High-Definition Monitor
with a DTC100 High-Definition Digital Receiver
will provide you an HDTV-quality picture.

4:3 ratio = 1,330,560 pixels

16:9 ratio = Over 1.5 million pixels
