Registering your phone
Cord Set Up
1. To register your 25055 handset to a compatible RCA base phone,
press the REG soft key.
NOTE: If your handset is unregistered, the LCD screen will read
PRESS “REG” TO INITIATE REGISTRATION. The REG soft key will be
the only option available.
2. The LCD will then read REGISTERING…
and will begin searching for a compatible
RCA base phone.
NOTE: Your base phone must be an RCA 25210, 25212, 25250, 25252,
25255 or 25270 and must have available capacity to support another
accessory handset. Please see your base phone’s instruction booklet
to find how many accessory handsets or headsets it can support.

If your phone is a 25212, 25252, 25255 or 25270:
3. While your 25055 handset’s LCD reads REGISTERING… press the
MENU soft key on your base phone.
4. Press SELECT again on the PHONE SETTING menu.

5. Using the VOL (+/-) button to navigate, scroll to ADD HEADSET and
press the SELECT soft key. The LCD on the base phone will read
PAIRING PLEASE WAIT…
6. If registration was successful, the LCD on the
base phone will read PAIRING COMPLETE!, the
LCD on the handset will read REGISTRATION
COMPLETE! and you will hear a confirmation
tone as both return to the main menu. If registration
fails, you will hear an error tone and the LCD on the
base phone will read PAIRING FAILED! You will
head an identical error tone from the handset,
with the LCD reading HS REG FAILED.
If your phone is a 25210 or 25250:
3. While your 25055 handset’s LCD read’s REGISTERING…press and
hold the PAGE button on your 25210 or 25250 base phone until you
hear two beeps. The base phone’s LCD will read REGISTRATION.
4. When the base phone and the handset have completed the registra-
tion, each phone will beep and read REGISTRATION COMPLETE on
their LCD screens before returning to the main menu.
