A Z-Series Z4200U “switch less” access system consists of two components – a User Station (USTS) (Figure 2) and a Z-Series Computer Interface Module (Z-CIM) (Figure 3), - connected with Enhanced Category 5e UTP cable. The Z-CIMs are linked in a chain via Category 5e UTP cable. Servers are connected to each of the Z-CIMs.
