Bath Water Digital Thermometer Ramili® BTD100 (Duck)
Please read instructions very carefully before using bath thermometer and keep them safe for future reference.
The product has been designed to help you ensure that the water in your child’s bath is at a safe and more comfortable temperature. The thermometer works by measuring the water temperature every second, and displays the temperature in Celsius degree on the centre of the LCD screen. The LCD also provides a colour-coded light based guide on the measures.
Warnings
• Do not rely on this product as your primary and only means of checking and testing the bathwater temperature.
• Always submerge your hand and forearm into the bathwater before placing your child in the bathwater.
• Never leave your child unsupervised.
• Always keep bathroom floors dry and clear of toys and other objects.
• Be sure to remove all packaging from the thermometer before use and/or before giving it to your child.
Product Introduction
The thermometer is able to measure bath temperatures between 1-100°C. Do not expose this product to extreme temperatures. Not recommended to put in water with temperature more than 60°C.
• The thermometer is fully submersible and floats naturally.
• The thermometer instantly activates in bathwater. Note, the thermometer is sensitive to moisture and may remain powered on even when removed from the bathwater. It is recommend that the thermometer is thoroughly dried after use. This will prolong battery life.
• The thermometer runs on 3 AAA batteries (included and pre-installed). Note, Please remove the batteries if the product will be stored for a long period of time.
Operating Instructions
1. The thermometer automatically turns on when placed into the water. There is no On/Off button. When activated, the thermometer provides a digital display of the bathwater temperature in degree Celsius on LCD screen. The LCD screen also lights up in colour depending on the water temperature.
2. The LCD screen illuminates in Orange if the water temperature in the bath is less than 35°C. When the LCD gives an Orange light it’s indicating that the water temperature is Too Cold.
3. The LCD screen illuminates in Green if the water temperature in the bath ranges from 35°C to 39°C (includes both). When the LCD gives a Green light, it’s indicating that the water temperature is Just Right.
4. The LCD screen illuminates in Red if the water temperature in the bath is greater than 39°C. When the LCD gives a Red light, it’s indicating that the water temperature is Too Hot.
5. Please do not expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures. If the thermometer’s LCD screen
displays HH°C, it’s indicating that the water temperature is extremely hot. If the LCD screen displays LL°C, it’s indicating that the water temperature is extremely cold.
6. After use, please remove the thermometer from the bath and dry it completely. Be sure to dry the
3-rounded water sensors located on the underside of the thermometer. Drying the thermometer’s sensors will ensure that the LCD turns off, there fore prolonging battery life.
7. When the LCD brightness begins to fade, the batteries are low on charge. Please replace the batteries with new ones.

Note: Water temperature in a bath can vary from one side to another. Do not rely on this product as your primary and only means of checking and testing the bathwater temperature. Always try the water temperature in the bath with your hand and forearm before placing your child in the bath.
Replacing the Batteries
Note: Before replacing the batteries, please ensure the Thermometer is completely dry.
1. To replace the batteries, first remove the outer skin from the inner product housing. Push down on the LCD with your thumbs while holding the outer skin with your other fingers. Once removed, the inner product housing.
2. Use a mini screwdriver to remove the 8 mini screws from the bottom of the inner product house.
3. Remove the battery cover from the inner product housing, taking care not to lose any of the 8 screws. Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries. Be sure to insert the new batteries with the proper
polarity (+/- orientation). See Figure 1.
4. Ensure that the o-ring (the waterproof-ring) is properly aligned first, then replace the battery cover using the 8 screws and tighten. Please Note: If the o-ring is not aligned into its groove before replacing the battery cover, water leakage may occur which may damage the unit beyond repair.
5. Test for correct battery installation by applying a small amount of moisture to the 3 water sensor buttons. The LCD should turn on and activate, indicating that the batteries have been successfully installed.
6. Reinsert the inner product housing into the thermometer’s outer skin.

Additional Warnings:
• The thermometer is designed for bath use only. Do not use in swimming pools, or in any other environments.
• It is recommended to remove the batteries if the thermometer will be stored for a long period of time.
• When changing batteries, be sure to insert batteries using the correct polarity to prevent battery leakage (+/- orientation).
Do not leave the thermometer in the water for an extend period of time.
• After use, always dry the thermometer and the water sensors located on the thermometer’s underside. This will prolong battery life.
• To clean the thermometer, rinse in clean water and dry thoroughly.

Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
• Always remove dead batteries from the thermometer.
• Batteries should be changed by adults only.
• Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• When using rechargeable batteries, always completely remove them before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Be careful never to short-circuit the battery terminals
• This toy is to be operated in bath only when fully assembled in accordance with the instructions.
Guarantee
Ramili equipment is produced and tested according to the latest production methods. Carefully selected materials and highly developed technology ensure perfect functioning and a long service life. The terms of guarantee do not apply to the batteries or power packs used in the products. The period of
guarantee is 12 months from the date of purchase.
All deficiencies related to material or manufacturing errors within the period of guarantee will be redressed free of charge. Rights to claims under the terms of guarantee are annulled following tampering by the purchaser or third parties. Damage caused as the result of improper handling or operation, normal wear and tear, incorrect positioning or storage, improper connection or installation or Acts of God and
other external influences are excluded from the terms of guarantee. In the case of complaints, we reserve
the right to repair or replace defect parts or provide a replacement device. Replaced parts or devices
become our property. Rights to compensation in the case of damage are excluded where there is no
evidence of intent or gross negligence by the manufacturer. If your device does show signs of a defect within the period of guarantee, please contact the sales outlet where you purchased the Ramili device, producing the purchase receipt as evidence. All claims under the terms of guarantee in accordance with this agreement can only be asserted at the sales outlet. No claims under the terms of guarantee can be asserted after a period of one year from the date of purchase and hand-over of the product.
