The Model N power supply transforms 120 or 240 VAC, 60 Hz input voltage into regulated 12 or 16 VDC.
The regulated DC output is rated for a maximum of 1.4 Amp of load current. The Model N is available in
four input / output voltage congurations: 120 VAC, 60 Hz input / 12 VDC output; 120 VAC, 60 Hz input
/ 16 VDC output; 240 VAC, 60 Hz input / 12 VDC output; or 240 VAC, 60 Hz input / 16 VDC output.

Model N Specications

This is a Performance Specication. It is not intended to be used as Operating Instructions.

General Description: The Model N power supply transforms 120 or 240 VAC, 60 Hz input
voltage into regulated 12 or 16 VDC. The regulated DC output is rated for a maximum of 1.4
Amp of load current. The Model N is available in four input / output voltage congurations:
120 VAC, 60 Hz input / 12 VDC output; 120 VAC, 60 Hz input / 16 VDC output; 240 VAC, 60
Hz input / 12 VDC output; or 240 VAC, 60 Hz input / 16 VDC output.

Input Indicators: A front panel LED labeled AC IN provides an indication of AC input
voltage. The LED is illuminated when the AC input-voltage is above 95 VAC (120 VAC
models) or 230 VAC (240 VAC models).

Output Indicators: A front panel LED labeled DC OUT provides an indication of DC output
voltage. The LED is illuminated when DC output voltage is present.

Power Switch: A power switch mounted on the front panel controls the input line voltage.

Fuse Protection: The power supply is protected by a 1.50 Amp fuse mounted in a front

panel mounted fuse holder.

Circuit Board: Printed circuit boards are 0.062 inch thick FR4 material with 2 oz. copper on
both sides and plated through holes. Circuit boards and components are conformal coated
with polyurethane.

Input Power Cord: AC line voltage is connected to the power supply via a six foot power
cord with unterminated leads. (See Pin Assignments tables.)

Output Power Harness Regulated: DC output voltage is accessed via a front panel
mounted two pin female connector (Molex p/n 03-06- 1022). The power supply includes
a six foot output voltage harness (Reno A&E p/n 415-1400-00) with a mating connector
(Molex p/n 03-06- 2023) and unterminated leads. (See Pin Assignments tables.)

Operating Temperature: -30º F to +165º F (-34º C to +74º C).

Weight: 2.44 lb (1.11 kg).
