Music Box
Model SCP-04
When you turn on the slide switch (S1), the music integrated circuit (U1) plays a song then stops. Each time you press the press switch “doorbell button”, the song will play again and stop. Even if you let go of the press switch, the integrated circuit keeps the song playing until it has reached the end of the song.
Modify the circuit in project #1 by placing the press switch (S2) across points A & B.
WARNING: SHOCK HAZARD -
Never connect Snap Circuits to the electrical outlets in your home in any way!

These blocks have different colors and numbers on them so that you can easily identify them. on the clear plastic base grid first. Then, assemble parts marked with a 2. Install two (2) “AA” batteries (not included) into the battery holder (B1).

How does the speaker make sound from electricity?
An electric current in a wire also has magnetic properties. A speaker has a coil which concentrates the magnetic effects to move a tiny magnet. When the magnet moves it creates a change in air pressure which travels across the room. You “hear” sound when your ears feel the air pressure change.
