CARE
Keep the watch dry; if it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Use and store the watch only in normal temperature environments. Handle the watch carefully; do not drop it. Keep the watch away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
Modifying or tampering with the watch’s internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate its warranty. If your watch is not performing as it should, take it to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
Replacing the Battery
Your watch requires one CR2025 3-volt lithium button-cell battery (supplied) for power. When the display dims or the watch stops operating properly, replace the battery. For the best performance and longest life, we recommend a RadioShack lithium battery.
Caution:
Use only a fresh battery of the required size and recom-
mended type.
1. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws from the back cover. Then lift off the cover.
2. Use a pin to carefully unlatch one of the battery clips and remove the battery cover.
3. Remove the old battery. Hold down
LIGHT
for about 5 seconds. Then place the fresh battery in the compartment with the positive (+) polarity symbol up.
4. Replace the battery cover, then replace the back cover with the arrow pointing toward
LIGHT
and secure it with the screws.
Note:
Be sure the arrow on the back of the case points toward
LIGHT
. Otherwise the alarm will not sound.
Warnings:
• Keep button-cell batteries away from children. Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.
• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
Caution:
If you do not plan to use the watch for a month or more, remove the battery. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.
