Your RadioShack Transparent Display Clock combines a simple design with advanced technology. Its large liquid crystal display makes it easy to view the current time, da te, and indoor temperature. You can set the clock so it shows your local time, or your local time plus the time in a time zo ne you select, or the local time and date. Your clock’s built-in thermometer lets you see the indoor temperature. You can set the cloc k so it shows the time in a 12- or 24-hour format.

For better contrast, your clock comes with a white plate behind the disp lay. Simp ly slid e the plate up to remove it if you wish.

Your clock requires one AAA battery (not supplied) for power. For the best performance and longest life, we recommend a RadioShack alkaline battery.

Follow these steps to install a battery.
1. Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow to remove it.

• Use only a f resh battery of the required size and recommended type.
• If you do not plan to use the clock for a month or more, remove the battery. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.

Keep the clock dry; if it gets

wet, wipe it dry immediately. Use and store the clock only in normal temperature environments. Handle the clock carefully; do not drop it. Keep the clock away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
