INTRODUCTION
Your RadioShack 4-in-One Smart Light-Up was designed to control the most commonly used functions on your TV, VCR, TV/VCR combination, cable converter, and CD player. It might not be able to duplicate some of your original remote control's seldom-used functions.
When you set up the remote c ontrol, its command keys wor k like th e keys on y our orig inal remote controls. For example, the 4-in-One's

INSTALLING BATTERIES
Your remote control requires four AAA batt eries (not suppl ied) fo r pow er. For th e bes t pe rformance and longest life, we recommend RadioShack alkaline batteries.
Cautions:
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
• Do not mix old an d new batter ies or d ifferent types of batteries.
• Do not press any of the remote control's keys while installing batteries.
Note:
You do not need to reprogra m your remote control after rem oving the batteries, because no stored information is lost during battery replacement.
1. Press the battery compartment cover's tab and lift off the cover.
2. Place the batter ies in the com par tme nt as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside.
3. Replace the cover.
When the remote control's range decreases or it stops operating properly, replace the batteries.
