Your RadioShack Fold-up Amplified Speaker System is ideal for use with your notebook computer or personal stereo.The dual 2-inch full-range speakers are magnetically shielded for use near a notebookcomputer. The built-in retractable connector cable allows easy connection and cable storage. The speakers fold to fit into the supplied carrying pouch.

• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
• Do not burn or bury batteries.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
• If you do not plan to use the speakers for more than two weeks, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.
3. Install four AA batteries according to the polarities marked inside the battery compartment. ±
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.
5. To test the battery power, slide
POWER to ON.The
indicator lights.

When you connect AC power, the battery power is automatically disconnected.

Cautions:
You must use a Class 2 power sourcethat supplies 6V DC and delivers at least400 mA. Its center tip must be set to positive and its
plug must fit the speaker's
DC 6V jack. Using an adapter
that does not meet these specifications could damage the speakers or the adapter.
POWER to OFF, then connect the AC adapter’s barrel
Slide plug to the portable speaker’s
DC 6V jack. Plug the other
end of the AC adapter into a standard 120V AC outlet. ±
