Set Up Your Transmitter
To use your wireless ste r eo headphones, you must connect you r t r ans mitter to an audio source, such as a television, home theater or CD player. Choose one of these connections.

Notes:
• Place the transmitter at the same height or slightly higher than the expected height of the headphone.
• Avoid placing your transmitter outdoors, near a window, or any place where sunlight might prevent opt imum transmission.
• Do not point the transmitter directly towards a window.
• Do not place any object between the transmitter and the receiver that might block the infrared transmission.

Installing the Batteries
Remove each ear pad, and insert a rechargeable AAA battery in each earpiece, matching the polarity (+ and -) inside.
Charging the Headphone’s Batteries
You must charge your headphone’s batteries for at least 16 hours bef or e using them the first time and when you replace the batteries.
1.Turn the transmitter off, and insert the transmitter’s charg in g c or d into the CHARGE jack on the headphone’s earpiece.
2.Turn the transmitter back on when finished, and disconnect the charging cord.
Note: Do not charge the batteries longer than 24 hours. This could reduce battery performance.
Important: The EPA certified RBRC® Battery Recycling Seal on the nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery indicates RadioShack is voluntarily participating in an industry program to collect and recycle these batteries at the end of their useful life, when taken out of service in the United States or Canada. The RBRC program provides a convenient alternative to placing used Ni-Cd batteries into the trash or the municipal waste stream, which may be illegal in your area. Please call 1-800-THE-SHACK (1-800-843-7422) for in for ma tion on Ni­Cd battery recycling and disposal bans/restrictions in your area. Power Your Transmitter
DC IN Jack
Insert the supplied AC adapter’s barrel plug into th e DC IN ja ck on the back of the transmitter. Then, plug the other end into a s tandard AC outlet.

Operation
1. Turn on your audio source and adjust its volume to the minimum position.
2. Turn on you r trans mitter and he adphon es, an d turn the ear piece ’ s vol ume d own to its lowest level.
3. Put on your headphones and adjust the volume on both your audio source and headphones to a comfortable listening level.
4. When finished, turn your headphones and transmitter off.
Notes:
• If you do not hear s ound, make sure your transm itter is correctly plugge d into your audio source.
• Make sure your batteries are charged for at least 16 hours before use.

Care
Keep your transmitter and headphones dry; if they get wet, wipe them dry immediately. Use and store the transmitter and headphones only in room temperature environments. Handle your headphones and tran smitter carefully; do not drop them. Keep your headphones and transmitter away from dust and dirt, and wipe them with a damp cloth occasionally to keep them looking new.
If your headphones are not performing as they should, take them to your local RadioShack store for assistance. To locate your nearest RadioShack, use the store locator feature on RadioShack's website (www.radioshack.com), or call 1­800-The Shack (843-7422) and follow the menu options. Modifying or tampering with the headphone's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate its warranty.
Battery Cautions
Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
Use only rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries. Do not use non­rechargeable batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable) or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
If you do not plan to use the unit for a month or more, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that may destroy electronic parts.
